  • Hello Lovelies!
Welcome back or welcome to my channel ♡
In this video I share part 1 of my adventure to Katmai National Park as well as some fun facts about the Alaskan Brown Bear!
Going to Brooks Falls in Katmai was definitely an amazing and thrilling experience!
It is very unique at Katmai due to the bears having an abundance of food and having no ill feelings towards people. You will not experience bears like this anywhere else.
Brown Bears Are still dangerous though and we still had to be cautious around them.
⚠️ Do not approach bears in the wild!

I would be the foolish tourist who sits thru the safety briefing then at the first sight of those beautiful creatures rushes towards them to hug them! Love the bears so much❤

I have to go there. I have to. I applied to the lotto and got in for June and I would have been scheduled to leave about 2 weeks (from this date) and I can't go!!!!!!!!!! I am now scheduled to have hip replacement surgery, and right now I have a hard time walking across my house. I will be applying again this December. Do you guys recommend a 400mm or 600 mm? What about a second camera with a wider angle for up close: Say a 50mm or even 85mm???? Also, I know the puddle jumper plane limits you to 50 lbs. I told them that is impossible, I have 50 lbs (exaggeration but not far off) of camera equipment. Has anyone else encountered a problem with excessive camera weight?

I'm so sorry to hear about that! 😞 I pray you get the chance to go!
As for the camera lenses and camera equipment, I advise you check in with who you're flying with. There are weight limits for bags because of such small planes. I do know of a few folks that had issues with their camera equipment because of the weight.
      Hope this helps ♡
