I am from Beograd, Srbija. My current profession is operator at aeronautic plant. Main reason for me to move to Norway is, of course, to earn more money until retirement. I should probably reside in Skien, Telemark.

With a forklift license and swedish language skills that should not be a problem, unless construction workers currently being laid off take those jobs.
I have lived in Norway for over 1.6 years. It is incredibly hard to find work in this country even with a Masters/Phd degree, and most Norwegian companies prefer to hire Norwegians over foreigners. In addition, salaries here for certain professions are much lower than in other countries. Things are incredibly expensive, everyone is feeling the crunch. More than 30 000 people leave Norway every year. It is an unfriendly country, people here are cold and unwelcoming. There is a lack of culture, diversity, art and expression. My personal experiences with the healthcare system have been very bad. If you have a good and stable career and are living a comfortable life where you are DO NOT move to Norway you will regret it. You will be disappointed.

Thanks for your comment. I don't have a degree, I'm deciding whether to go and get regular jobs. With your comment I see that it is not that good to make this choice
@@ArenaNerd even with regular jobs, they require Norwegian and you'd have to go to Norwegian school first and write the test before you could apply for those jobs. Even then, its not guarenteed you'd find work quickly.

I've wanted to move to Norway for the beauty and the cold. Honestly it gets too hot in Kansas and I love the cold. I typically don't stop wearing "summer" clothes until the tempuratures stay around 0c or below. I even love using cold meditation in winter and living in a place where I can get my cold fix sounds amazing.
However the real reason I'm starting to work on a plan to move is because in the US I'm watching my tax dollars that I'm paying more and more and more towards are going to fund wars in other countries and ignoring my communities around the USA. Knowing my tax dollars are funding killings instead of funding the help to areas like Maui, the southern border, the massive influx of illegal immigrants with no signs of the current administration will do anything to stop it, and the massive rise in crime throughout the country and rise in communistic policies in heavily left leaving communities are making me think that the USA is going to collapse soon and not before becoming the next soviet Russia, or the new Rome.
I personally hate drama so living in a country that seems to be free from it sounds like as good an opportunity as any especially given how I don't trust my country anymore.

But if you really want to move to Norway it’s better to visit the country first and stay for a few weeks to understand if it’s the right place for you or not 🙂

Hello all, I am a medical doctor from Greece, And I would like to move to Norway , in order to continue my medical residency .. I know c1 is required in order to be accepted by the national medical board as a doctor ,so I can be certificated to work as an MD... My question is: Could I work as a doctor or assistant doctor in Norway until I give my language exam ,or I must find other kind of work , (I have no problem doing it.! ) untill I become certificated member my Norway s National Medical Board? In that case How can I find a job as a foreigner??? ( coming from Greece , which is from a country of European union ofc...) I speak English and Swedish (b1 level) Please help. Thank you in advance!

How is the culture diversity?
Not a lot of diversity except for Oslo. The country in general does not embrace cultural diversity. They expect foreigners to leave their cultural identities behind to take on Norwegian culture and yet you will still not be entirely accepted.
