Thanks for sharing an update. I like seeing the progress you are making! My seedling germination was hit or miss this year, hoping some of them pop up as the weather warms up. Although I have no idea what I will do with hundreds of seedlings

I planted about 20 ginkgo seeds last spring. Only one of them came up and it didn't happen until summer.

I’ve had good success germinating them after 3-4 months in the refrigerator in some damp soil in an open sandwich baggie .

I have been selling them locally mostly, but I definitely plan to ship Japanese Maple trees in the future. Stay tuned!

How much variation are you getting from your Japanese maple seeds?
I collected a bunch from my neighbor's tree last October. I have about 20 that have come up and they are mostly different from one another. I suspect there was a lot of cross pollination from the Silver Maples and Sugar Maples in the area.

I get quite a bit of variation in most cases.
