@@Eleceno I think when they questioned him about it he said it was a political statement. And he only opened it when JFK was passing by, he didn't have it open the whole time.

@@fembrucewayne1904 It was 12:30 in a November, not that hot. Sure Texas but not really that hot in Dallas that time of the year. Also the Umbrella was closed before and after the shooting. He had the umbrella open during the first shot. Louie Steven Witt "The Umbrella Man" said that it was in protests against JFK's dad. He wasn't a fan of Joseph Kennedy's appeasement policy. When Joseph was ambassador to The Court of St. James in 1938-1939. So as a symbol of protest Witt used an umbrella, a reference to the signature accessory of Neville Chamberlain who promoted appeasement as Prime Minister of England. But it's not that weird to use an umbrella as a sign of protest it's been used in both American and English History. In fact when Nixon was VP to Eisenhower he banned his aids from using umbrellas in fear of having a visual link to the unpopular policy of appeasements.

Also, there are some theories out there about the umbrella being a killing utensil and some CIA person said he designed it but that's another can of worms.

I agree. The fight scene in episode 4, with "I Was made for lovin' you" playing, is one of my favorite scenes.
I love the scene when Elliot asks Five and Diego if they are an enemy of the people, and they are all like, "Well that depends on what people? We've killed quite a few."
Finally reactors that understood Luther was scared of Vanya not trying to kill her 👍
Yeah Luther knew he messed up with Vanya and that she could be pissed off on him . That's why he was scared . A lot of reactors don't get it.
I don't necessarily blame them for thinking that though, I think the people making this wanted to mess with viewers' heads.

I really love all your reactions but I feel like you guys are cutting out so much of your reaction to Allison and Klaus' storyline. I hope you include more of it next episode because I feel like their relationship this season is so great and would love to hear your opinion on it.
I love that the Frankel Footage was the Footage shot by the unknown witness known to Conspiracy Theorists as the "Babushka Lady" and that Reginald Hargreaves was the "Umbrella Man" another person seen during the Assassination and later identified by the Warren Commission as Louie Witt.
I truly loved this season, hate having to wait a week for each episode reaction but i get it.
S2 was just soo good. It felt way more coherent!

I think them and the guys from The Reel Rejects are among the few that actually try to understand Luther's character, i've stopped watching so many reactions to this show 'cause the "Let's hate on Luther for everything" pisses me off 😅
True, but I don't think many people were in the mood to give him the benefit of the doubt given the shit he pulled. I can forgive people for not being quick to forgive Luther.

I hated him in S1 for being such a jerk, but I only wanted more of him in S2

This episode really brought me back around to liking Luther. I didn’t hate his character before but the way handled Vanya last season (even though I can kinda understand why he did it) made him a little annoying.
I am loving Luther's character development this season. I went from absolutely hating him toward the end of last season to being totally intrigued by him.
When I was a little girl in the 60s my dad had me roll his cigarettes for him. He bought cans or pouches of tobacco and had a little rolling machine.
It's scenes like the Fishman and songs that make this like a warped Disney fanasty.
Great fight choreography at end!

I love the craziness in this show.
I love Hazel and Cameron Britton. He did such a great job of slowly getting you to fall in love with the character. The arc is perfectly paced in my opinion. I hope to see him again. With time travel, anything is possible. Hey, Daddy Reggie is back.

Are we as the audience supposed to question how their dad looks like he barely aged in 50 years? Cause he's probably in his late 40s at least here, then he would be close to 100 years old by the time he died in season 1.
And we also see him in season 1 arriving in New York in the early 1900’s (?) looking almost the same as he does in 1963... 🤔
It could be time travel of some sort, but I think/ hope we get answers.

@@gryotharian he literally used a gun and shot people in his first issues. he didnt beckme the colorful version that thr adam west series was based on until Robin showed up. besides, even then, he was still a vigilante. Five is saying diego is a SHITTY vigilante.

I recently finished season 2. I will not spoil anything. All I want to say is that I really liked it a lot. Season 1 was more of I enjoyed watching it to bash on it, but season 2 was genuinely well written for the most part.
I wonder if it's physically possible for dog people to look at a cat without getting an overwhelming urge to talk about how terrible the animal is and how dogs are better?

Cut out all the Allison and Vanya scenes in the entire season and it becomes a much better show. :^)
What why
Vanya’s whole story at the farm was so boring. Allison’s story also but I think they thought they had to address that when they picked 1960s as the setting
Even though Allison is my least favorite of the siblings, her storyline this season was much better than in the first one. I think the farm scenes around Vanya were sometimes boring because they were too long. But i also enjoyed her more without her memories.
Five and Klaus are the most entertaining that's for sure.
