Klaus’s powers are one thing I am most excited to see more of in season 2. In season one finale we finally got to see him do that thing with Ben and I can’t wait to see more stuff like that again... hopefully he doesn’t go back to drugs and ends up not being able to use his powers well again.

Damn seeing Robert Sheehan (Klaus) makes me miss his character in misfits. Both times he plays one of my favorite super powers characters
If misfits never had this few dips later on I'd 100% recommend it for blind wave. Hell I still recommend it to them

Him with Iwan Rheon and Antonia Thomas represent the strongest characters in Misfits.
I came to the comments just to say if they liked Klaus they must react to misfits even if it's only for the first series or 2.
If they watched Misfits though they'd feel obliged to sit through series 4 and 5; and they are really not worth it tbh (although series 5 is ok to be fair but 4 is terrible)

Well it feels like doom patrol because Gerard Way wrote it and he is a giant Doom Patrol comic fan. He also wrote a run of Doom Patrol.

@@killernyancat8193 comics, though he's credited for the show because he is one of the comic writers, you can see his name with the others during the credits, along with Grant Morrison, the man who decided doom patrol should be weirder.
That zoom out on the house is still one of the coolest shots in the show to me. It was really creative and visually interesting.
Cazer 96 Ellen Page’s wife was the choreographer on the show. I know she choreographed the dance in a later episode, not sure if she did this scene as well.

I love that you guys are finally doing Umbrella Academy. I'm so in love with this show. Number 5 and Klaus are my favorite characters. Season 2 comes out soon. Also a little note, it only said that 43 women gave birth, nothing was said about each of them only having 1 child.

His character in that started off annoying, but became best character!
He is an amazing actor. I wish he was in more popular stuff. I could honestly see him winning an Oscar some day.
I loved Misfits...until all the main people were gone 😕. Sheehan was my favorite character in that and in this.

Or once that Allison's husband realized (from reading Vanya's book) that she had the power, he may have become paranoid that she HAD used her power on him.

Robert Sheehan is one of the best actors to come out of Ireland. He is so good in Misfits and fantastic in Irish gangster drama Love/Hate, along with Barry Keoghan and Aiden Gillen (Littlefinger). Where he plays a completely different type of character from anything else he has been in. He's just so fun to watch.
"I think we're alone now" was definitely what made me captivated with the show it was so beautiful all of them dancing their personalities just bled through and I can't even explain how much I love that scene

The scene of them dancing is one of my favorite scenes on television. I don’t really know why it’s so wholesome and humorous yet also sad and off putting at the same time

i always thought vanya's book hit them so hard because 1) it was something they had all tried so hard to leave behind only for her to drag it all back up again, and 2) expose all the various ways they were abused WITHOUT their permission. not only that, but she wouldn't have really understood it all, like the tattoos: while she saw it as a mark of belonging (which, sure), objectively speaking, they were being branded. they all have a limited perspective on what happened in that house
EXACTLY. Everyone always sides with Vanya due to her being abused without taking into consideration that the rest of the siblings were victims as well and she literally profited off their suffering without so much as asking. It would've been fine if she detailed her own life, but she quite obviously wrote a lot about the other siblings and was definitely bias towards them so no wonder they were all pissed.

The team that does the visual effects and CGI for Pogo is Weta Digital and they did the new Planet of the Apes trilogy as well. That’s why, it’s so good and similar to Caesar.
Fun fact you should know, and it's not a spoiler because it is NEVER said in the show, although it should be because it makes a LOT of scenes better, Diego's power is the ability to breath indefinitely underwater. The weapon throwing was a LEARNED ability.
I think they changed Diego's powers a little bit for the show. There is no way someone can learn to bend a knife in midair.

Limas the entire thing, sure the first three seasons were good, but the characters are always lovable.... like Rudy
Creepy Doll yeah rudy was great, but Nathan was a giant pair of shoes to fill.
I also loved that out of all of it, Simon actually got a fully fledged superhero story.

I’d say only the first two seasons, as they were originally written as one complete series. You can just watch the christmas special as an open-ended epilogue and pretend like the other seasons never happened and it still feels like a complete show (as much as I love the concepts of season 3, they really butchered the superhoodie storyline, and the changes in a lot of people behind the camera makes it lose the unique visual style and makes it feel like a different show)

As someone who came from a largely abusive household, I find it kinda funny that you're trying to get into the mind of someone from the situation. Props to you, seriously.
When it comes to talking about family matters, I was horrified when I was a kid. I refused to acknowledge publicly that it ever happened - refused to write it down or make a solid note of it since I was afraid that either my parents would find out or someone would call bullshit and tell me that I was being unfair. Typical teenage-parent rhetoric in America is "your parents just want what's best for you" when you're a conventional suburban family with several college-bound children who excelled academically.
By my last two years of high school, I started feeling less scared of talking about everything that had happened throughout my childhood. But I'm still terrified of the idea of my parents listening to me talk about it - because then they'd scream at me so much and I'm convinced that I'd wind up crying and I'd lose my autonomy and independence.
If I wrote a book about everything that had ever happened between myself and my sisters and our parents, it would probably alienate them horribly. There IS enough material to fill out an entire fucking book, but there are things that weren't just traumatic for me that also traumatized THEM. In a way, the three of us share a camaraderie in having handled the same abuse together - but one sister has Borderline Personality and Bipolar disorder, the other has severe social anxiety, and I am extraordinarily OCD; our upbringing had a lot to do with this and it'd be like writing an autobiography bears not only my own soul but the souls of everyone who shared this situation.
Vanya's my favorite character, but I get why they're all so mad at her. It's like she told she entire world what was wrong with *all* of them...

In case anyone is curious, there were actually two Freaky Friday movies made before the one with Lindsay Lohan. There was the one with Jodie Foster and then one with Shelley Long. It's just one of those movies that gets made once a generation like A Star is Born or Little Women.
Klaus is such a great character played by an amazing actor named Robert Sheehan. You should watch him in the series called Misfits starring the amazing Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton from GOT). They both became famous because of Misfits.
