Add a container to the bottom of the plastic bag to hold all of it in case the bag comes loose at the top so you don't lose any water reeady for drinking.

North TX Kayak actually it should work for a almost any dirty water, it removes the majority of contamination but some chemicals may also evaporate
Still water can be stored for how many years in months while turning green
