I like the technique of the stinger hook threaded through the swimbait, but I think the technique for tying the line to the front hook could be improved. You’d be surprised how well it would hold with a few drops of superglue that should be in every man’s tackle box. The front hook could be replaced with a jig head so the torpedo weight would be unnecessary. But all in all, I like the concept. I would like to see you run the lure through a water tank or get a video of you cranking it through the water so we could see if the rear hook negatively impacts the action.

7 minutes to set this up. Idk. I suppose you could prepare several in advance but think it's a no go to,do it on the water. It is true that the small pike in my area do short strike paddle tails quite often so this might be useful.

I wonder if this can work for shore fishing where you have to cast and real, that weight looks set problematic.
To me, this mass could easily be cast hundreds of meters away. If you are tall and have a long arm span, your prey will fly even further!

1- Узлы на крючке дрянь. 2- рыбу с катера тащат на воблер. Короче - бредятина полнейшая.
Думаю , что привязывать груз лишняя трата времени . Достаточно груз установить на карабин , как это делается в джиг риг .

Pretty sure that setup won't work with braid. Probably won't run straight either. Just buy some pre-rigged or use a jig head.
