    Very well done. She captured the imagination of the general public like no other player in history. A great champion. Her statement about the amateur status applied for another 40 years. How sad and unfair that she ended up in a sporting goods store. Her health was compromised throughout her life but did not stop her massive achievements. A true legend

      ​@@BaselineTennis Well, not only, in your case I am pretty sure YTB doesn't do a good job in content promotion. They will improve too. You are producing great content it needs some time to be highlighted, unfortunately.

    Was she sick? Not to be mean, but even at 20 she looked more than twice her age! Every 50 year-old woman I know is way more fresh-faced...

      She drank heavily, smoked like a chimney. It was a common trait of a flapper.

      She had asthma from an early age which left her relatively frail. This did not hamper her spectacular achievements
