what a perfect timing to catch up before season 2 releases such an underrated piece of gem even though special effects look a bit tacky and choppy (although a deliberate direction by the sfx team) the entire concept is so unique amongst the plethora of generic kdramas, i love it so much i have higher hopes for s2 since they most likely got better funding, the effects look much improved as well
The 3-year gap between seasons was because one of the actors had to enlist for mandatory military service 😊 they had to wait for him before they could shoot. I'm glad you're finally watching this, Achara! And looking forward to Andrew's first exposure to the world of Korean entertainment 😄 this is a great show to start with haha Also, Achara, I think the K-drama Happiness has also been recommended before - the setting for that one is actually in the era of COVID-19, so it's a good watch! Hope you can check it out sometime

That short older man is the working character actor Woo Hyun whose been in 45 TVseries over the past dozen years, sometimes 6 series per year. I count 17 series I've seen him in, including the worst series I've ever seen and the best.

I just finished the first episode and I'm glad I can finally see a reaction to this now. I thought the girl on the roof was a possible love interest. After she started talking I knew she was nothing but trouble so I was like forget her there's a better woman for you to find to give a reason to live. The bass player could've handled that lady with the stroller situation better. I would've just played along to not make her feel awkward. That guy in the white shirt (who I guess was the building manager) was so annoying. I get that the gangster guy is just what you would expect, but the manager guy was just a wimp that acts and talks like he's running things and should just sit down, shut up and let other people get things done. He only cares about most likely himself and the building, maybe his wife too. I wouldn't be putting up with that guy for long before I have to check his BS. I don't know what that thing was that got in the building, but I wouldn't have been standing there looking at it. My Black backside would've left immediately because brother man don't play that. I'm going to find a weapon and a safe place to hide out. No way I'm waiting for something to kill me. Enjoyed the reaction 👍👍✌out. ***SPOILER*** I really want to know what was the cause of the infection. I think the fish in the box is a mislead because what about the ones outside, did they get messed up fish too. I'm thinking the security guard might have get it before being inside, then gave it to the woman with the cat. She then gave it to the main character when he passed out in her blood that was on the floor in the hallway. I think the firefighter lady got infect on her back when she tried to run back inside. I thought it got her on the leg, but there was blood on her back where that tongue thing lashed at her. I think she is the one in the vent wearing only her underwear from the teaser trailer. She had that weird lower back thing going on when her back was turned to the camera. I'm wondering if that big muscled up thing from the trailer was what turned over the truck outside and then yelled "PROTEIN".
I guess It's called sweet home because this apartment is the safest one out of all the places probably for all the people in the building.u will know it once u complete it

Sweet Home is based on webtoon of same name by Kim Carnby. His other works like Bastard and PIGPEN are amazing and jusst top notch horror
