Quick note: the doctor that baek hyun-woo went to see, him and that actor played brothers in another popular k-drama “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay”. it’s a nice callback to the regular kdrama watchers😊 you guys should definitely check that out sometime too, because it’s an emotional rollercoaster and the acting is phenomenal!
Sang Tae and Gang Tae!!! It’s Okay is my all time favorite Kdrama. QoT is my second. Both have amazing OSTs but this one might by slightly better. I’ve watched a bunch of Kdramas and Kim Soo Hyun is my favorite actor. He is so believable and just rips my heart out when he is in agony.

the wierdest sound affect I had to like learn and figure out for K dramas is the like goat or lamb bleating sound. They play it during awkward moments or when someone does something dumb and it creats an awkward moment. I can't tell if it's like the Korean version of crickets chirping or has something to do with calling that person an idiot. But I don't even have to understand the full context to just now understand the vibe and the humor when it happens and barely even notice it
Wish more people online had seen Emperor of the Sea or at least talked about it...feels like I was the only one who watched it....Greatest Korean Drama of all time for me... 😊
The drunk scene with his friend where he's talking about her and how she used to feel was all him, like the scene was in the script but not as dramatic.... He made it hilarious.. the doctor and the husband were both in a show called "it's ok not to be okay" if you haven't seen it I recommend it
I always stood by his side. He had all my sympathy from the first episode until the last. I think in 16 episodes she never did enough to deserve the man she married.
Oh please. He just wanted a pretty girl and save a damsel in distress. He didn't see through her trauma or even try to understand her. She loved him from day one till the end but he has the audacity to laugh at her death. She always waited for him even when she was tired, always defended him ever after the betrayal. She is way too good for him.
I would hope Solo Leveling will be on the next anime watchlist maybe next month before season 2 comes out. It's based on korean Manwha(manga) & for us it's like a Kdrama story in anime version:)
