The new Scott Plasma or Canyon Speedmax CF SLX - mainly because of their storage abilities with integrated bento and tool box, as well as drinking system.
The comments on here about James's presenting or accent are disgraceful. Needing to put others down says a lot about the person you are! For what its worth i enjoyed the video, keep up the good work GTN 👏 👍
I still have and race my QR Superform from 1990. People stop laughing and pointing at my outdated tech when they get passed in a race. And, I still think the custom paint job is fire.
Hey knocking James accent or his speech speed - why dont you apply for the position and see how you go. He is sue qualified and a great addition to GTN
Cat Cheetah and the Lotus were top 2 were the Kestrel an honourable mention. Need a seperate video on if disc brakes are something actually a performance enhancer or simply industry making us to buy more and at a higher price.
I think triathlon as a sport has always been about innovating... I think the cycling industry has been about repackaging the same stuff to sell again at a higher price

Nice videos but James makes always so many awkward pauses when talking und talks really slow.. IN EVERY VIDEO! Like the dude but come on, learn the script by heart.
Zipp used the Softride beam on the original 2001, later redesigning the bike to utilize their own beam. Greg Welch continued to ride the Softride beam (on a Softride bike) in '92, [93 he was injured], as well as his victory in '94...and beyond. The presenter's assertion regarding the performance of the Softride beam is misguided, and based on nothing factual.
Softride beams were beneficial for smooth pedallers. The inertia of their thighs and body weight being in proportional balance, the preload of the beam was effective in tuning out road shock. Powerful pedallers with a choppier action would bounce up and down on the beam, so stiffer beams would be needed negating the the shock absorption. BITD smooth pedallers loved it choppy pedallers hated it (because there is no top-tube clearance and out of saddle performance is hindered). I’ve no experience with the more modern designs, and I’m sure Softride didn’t have access to the tools required for effective layup, namely FEA and stress modelling, so maybe the newer designs perform differently.
I mean this dude seems to be a nice guy but it is just so difficult to listen to him with all the pauses. I wish him all the best to become more confident.
Just about to say the same. Bring back the other guys. Dude obviously hasn’t reviewed the script, I couldn’t even get 5 minutes in. Sorry but he kinda sucks!
100% knows his onions though. I’d rather sit and watch the whole video when the content is there. Slick RUclips presentation is a such a cliche now, all show and no go, you might say.
What is your favourite bike of all time? 🚴
Crepe shadow R, hands down would love them to make a Gen 2 to shed a bit of weight from the frame……. Not that I could afford it 😔.
No Shiv Disc… was up against some unique and stiff competition there though. Interesting show. 👍
Mine, of course
The Raleigh Street Wolf that I found in a barn!

Amazingly researched and correlated content. Hats off.

Great video! awesome to see james present more often!
Was hoping to see the Kestrel KM40 with no seat tube. The first of its' kind if I recall correctly.

Hey John! I hope this is not an imposition if you could take pictures of your awesome bike and post it where I could see its glorious look! 👌

Agreed, man. He's getting better, and I understand how hard being in front of a camera can be. Good work, GTN!
He's knowledgable, his energy especially in the outdoor videos is great, I'm enjoying him and I think he's got pretty good energy with Mark
Love my Shadow-R. Its crazy, rare and fast. 🥰
Super vidéo mais ils en manquent certains comme le Falco V😉

Kestrel km40
Litespeed Blade
I feel like the Slingshot tri bike got overlooked here.
James presented this episode well!

I love riding my softride, and people staring at it, as if an ufo rushes by.😋
1992 slingshot bike, 1991 Mark Allen Huffy bike
Isn't the Felt IA 1 and 2.0 odd enough for this?
Triathlon Bikes are to Superbikes as LMP-1 cars are to F1 cars.
thanks
James needs more practice reading from a teleprompter before putting him on camera. It’s torture trying to listen to him
Stop being such a child
See a Ceepo at the last two races I've done, they are very odd looking things. Never seen the owners though, just seen them hanging on racks.
Outlaw races by any chance? I saw one at Thorseby Park a week ago!

Does that Dimond bike have one disc brake and one rim brake?
Yes. He has one made specifically like that for himself for improved aerodynamics.
Would be nice a video about this topic with Adam Hansen

He'll get the hang of it 😉😁
He’s getting better though!
Sure would be nice to still have Fraser Cartmell on the team. I miss that dude!!!
He needs a pre show pint or two
Penny Farthing anyone?
No mention of 26" wheels?
650 front wheel was covered in the analysis of the Quintana Roo.
