    Which bit of tech is going to make the biggest impact in the world of triathlon? 🤔

      Personally think the sweat rate/sodium loss patch for age groupers specifically. A lot of people getting into triathlon have no idea how much these losses can affect them in training.

    Wow! What tech gents 👏 it's incredible to watch tech being developed & ready for market 👍the VO2 mask, the varoius monitors, and the B bike! Oh my days! Really good to see parcours being given some exposure 👏 Is that Dovs own bike? Just watched him on Francis Cades cycling channel. They're both at Kona. Grand stuff all round 👌

    How cool! I am actually a strength and conditioning coach and I had been thinking about getting the VO2master for a while, to better assess athletes. Do y’all think there is demand in the Triathlon, biking/ running community for assessment of cardio vascular performance?

    • @gtn
      @gtn  2 года назад

      Good question. Guess the answer lies in where you want to make gains, there already is an appetite for it, if it's going to help then it could be one to consider? 🤔

    • @na-dk9vm

    What I would like to be able to buy: a non boring trisuit, just like the pros wear! For cycling you can buy all the pro gear, for triathlon yes you can get Zoot or former Watty, but never the pro suits with sponsors etc.

    • @speedsociety9177
      @speedsociety9177 2 года назад +8

      Why would you want to pay for a Trisuit that advertises sponsors which are not even your sponsors? I also dont get why people buy pro bike jerseys with sponsors. They pay for then advertising the sponsors even more, every companies wet dream I guess.

    Companies lIke ON running shoes should be obliged to take back and recycle the products that contain carbon plates from customers upgrading their shoes. The running industry is a huge contributor to landfill because its products are so complex and theres zero attempt to recycle them.

    Its funny like most of those tech videos look pretty much the same. The product costs a ridiculous amount of money, to improve 1% the performance of less than 5% os the whole field of triathletes ... And so, we just keep using our used gear that is still working, until it start to break

    There is a lot more going on with the Norwegians than they will disclose. Stop being so naive people. Follow the flow of the money.
    You can’t put in what god left out.
    Nor will tech make the difference. Listening to your body is the only true metric you have. Your condition changes daily due to variables such as life stresses, sleep quality, what you eat, how you train. Following numbers is a huge mistake. Variables such as your lactate threshold will change from session to session due to how you manage intensity and recovery, in addition to external life stresses and climatic conditions. As long as you don’t over do intensity and stay in the zone that your body can handle at the time, you will get a response and adaptation.
    Pushing to the limit too frequently or chasing numbers on meters when your body isn’t able to will lead to loss in performance, injury and retirement. Save your money and learn to listen to your body.
    Blummenfelt obviously couldn’t “hold the numbers/ data” on the day to beat Iden. Alternatively he wasn’t even looking at them so I rest my case.
