i’ve seen a lot of moby feedback saying it’s too fitted. i love a good oversized sweater so im staying away from the pattern and trying out the eurus aegyo knit sweater pattern instead. great mods ❤
it did turn out a lot more fitted than i thought it would, although maybe i should've just sized up more? the eurus sweater is absolutely gorgeous though, definitely adding that one to my queue!
Did you do your swatch? Also I’m blocking it before the ribbing so that I know exactly how much ribbing I have to add! I’m in love with the design of the sweater. Maybe go up one size if you want it were oversized.
OMG I literally have been thinking lately about how I wish some of my old finished sweaters were more cropped (and reminding myself for the future to knit things to MY proportions and not necessarily the pattern) but been too scared to take out the scissors 😭 Maybe this will give me some courage!
ahh you definitely should! i'm SO much happier with this sweater now, i've actually worn it out multiple times since i cropped it 🥰 i hope you have a similar experience with your knits!
that's a good idea but at this point the neck area is so stretched out that i'm not sure even that will save it 😭 if i have some time i'll give it a try!
that was the first thing i tried! unfortunately i feel like the problem is that there's TOO much fabric so stretching out the edge more doesn't accomplish the goal 😭

This totally inspired me to fix up some of my “finished” projects! Thanks for sharing 🤗
yayyy i'm so glad to hear that!! honestly making this video was the motivation i needed to fix this sweater too 😅

Turn the granny square top into a little bag!! Or make more and turn it into a tote bag!!
omg i love these ideas so much actually haha
That sweater is so cute 🥹
thank you bestie 🥹
Purple top look slayed
hehe ty bri 🥰🥰
Oh that Tank top would Look so good layered over a crisp white shirt and with some jeans and flats! Try wearing it as a vest before you throw it out
oooh that's a great idea! i'll try it out 🥰
I wonder if blocking it to make it a bit smaller then adding some elastic could help the granny square top be tighter?
i've heard the elastic tip from a couple of people, i think i'll try it since it's pretty low effort!! thank you for the idea 🥰
if I had those granny squares, I'd just undo it and use each square as a coaster or something, then you don't really have to redo any part of it!
oooh love that idea!!
Why not do a rib band along the granny square halter?
Or you can run thin elastic through it.
that's a good idea but at this point the neck area is so stretched out that i'm not sure even that will save it 😭 if i have some time i'll give it a try!
Did you try wet blocking the granny square top, to re-shape it the way you want?
that was the first thing i tried! unfortunately i feel like the problem is that there's TOO much fabric so stretching out the edge more doesn't accomplish the goal 😭
What size did you knit your moby sweater?
Do you have a pattern for this sweater?
it’s the moby sweater by petite knit!
