My internet is trash, took 3 hrs to download but finally installed. I went ham on the difficulty and am constantly worried I'm about to get steamrolled any moment. Sadly crashed about 2 hours in so I'm taking a break.

Tried the "challenging" start with 0 resources, and it's nothing difficult really. Upgrade worker's camp, hunters, firewood, leather, market, and you have positive approval still in December. Then church is completed early Feb or something, depending on how far the stone is and how dumb the peasants are.
The market was a bit counterintuitive. You have to let them build the stall and stock it with 1 resource, and then you can reassign them to a different job. As long as there's 1 resource in the market for your 1 upgraded worker camp, it counts as a fulfilled need
This stream told me enough to know that this is not the game for me.
I feel 30 bucks is kinda high for a game that is in early access no matter how good it is, so many games are still in early access years later and never updated.
Have you seen the crap they charge on the PlayStation store if you only have the digital version! £70 for skull and bones etc £30 is a bargain to actually play a good game
Yeah, 10-15$ would be great price. I will wait for sale or pirate it. At least there is no denuvo.
