@@AznTony360 you cannot use them all the time, not even on highway because of the oncoming traffic. If your driving only off road at winter maybe otherwise these are very bad, especially on rain on public roads.
It would be pretty hard for me to do that. To change all of them again. Just so you know, as long as ta bulb is rated as road legal and has as little blue coating glass as possible, you will have no problems in any weather condition.
Great video as always! So the best option for white-ish headlights are Philips White vision? btw could you test if the headlights get hotter with those Osram Cool Blue Boost(which are higher wattage)
Thank you. Until now, yes, WhiteVision are the best in my opinion. I will do that and see if the headlights are way to hot, although I think they get like that every time. The extra voltage will show in the fuel consumption for sure. Other than that, if the electric system is in order it shouldn't be any problems. But I will take that advice into consideration.
The performance isn't so good as expected. Do you think with t10 LED 6000k (position light when dipped beam is on) and White Vision (low beam) will give a nice white-bluesh color? And, just out of curiosity: have you ever tried some 5000k H7-R 35W Xenon? I'm seriously thinking of buying those for 80€; I don't have projectors and I know the cutoff won't be as sharp but, after many researches, I found that the 5000k (pure white) 35w (less light intensity) H7-R (anti-glare) can be a good compromise so not to blind other drivers. You have more experience than me on car-lights, what is your opinion? I would thank you
If you put the 6000k parking light there will be a noticeable difference between them and the light of the WhiteVision halogens. Even the 4000k LED's on the parking light look a bit colder, just a bit I mean, than WhiteVision. But still, even so, I liked the 6000k parking light the most because of the pure white light they have. No blue trace what so ever. Only in the 8000k ones you'll get that bluish look. So feel free to get what you like more the 4000k if you want the perfect match in color with WhiteVision, or the 6000k if you want crisp white light from the parking lights. The 8000k parking light of Philips would blend in perfectly with these 5000k halogens from OSRAM. Regarding the xenon I am no expert either. But in that case, without a projector, you'll have even greater chances to be stopped by the Police. It's not worth it and I can assure you that you'll blind everyone from the opposite way if you don't install projectors as well.
Another excellent video. Maybe the best one so far and first one in bad weather. What is the difference between OSRAM Cool Blue Boost and the OSRAM Cool Blue Hyper+. Is the OSRAM Cool Blue Boost and updated version of the OSRAM Cool Blue Hyper+? PowerBulbs list the OSRAM Cool Blue Boost as "New" on their website.
Thank you. I would save up and get Philips WhiteVision, because of their lifespan. It matters how much you spend in a 2 year period of time. After that you have to change them anyway. If they burn after 6 months, you made no savings buy getting such a cheap bulb.
That I must confess I am not an expert. I didn't plan to change mine anytime soon. From what I understood though the orange color is the most suitable one, so you don't get tired by the red or blue, like some put on their dashboards
I don't recommend any 5000k halogens because they are very weak, despite the xenon look. Get Philips WhiteVision or OSRAM Cool Blue Intense, for a stylish look and good visibility. Just don't expect them to be all white, because you won't find both worlds, visibility and xenon look, in the same halogen.
You can see the difference even in this video when i turn on the warm light of OSRAM NightBreaker unlimited or the Philips RacingVision. Another video on bad weather, would be this, with Philips WhiteVision on the lowbeams: ruclips.net/video/5-PL6NUyXvo/видео.html
