I remember desperately wanting Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U. I had no idea how big this game would become. End of an era.

*Red Shell Strike Equipment* - Generic sponsor that appears on several tracks.
*Mario Motors* - Kart repair service with a large facility on GCN Yoshi Circuit.
*Golden Dash Cup icon* - Self explanatory
*Highway 8 sign* - Uses an old design for U.S. highway signs, instead of being monochrome it uses the interstate sign colors but inverted. Does not appear on any courses as far as I know.
*Roy Smooth Sounds* - A service that is seemingly helping to run the party on Electrodrome.
*Moo Moo Meadows Milk* - Self explanatory name, sometimes appears on trucks on N64 Toad's Turnpike but is otherwise a generic sponsor.
*Egg Cup icon* - Self explanatory
*Golden Wheel* - Sponsor that only appears on Mario Kart Stadium and advertises a golden Wii Wheel, complete with the Wii logo. Raises a lot of questions about the Mario Kart lore.
*Yoshi's Dice Game* - A board game whose box can be seen on GBA Ribbon Road.
*B Dasher kart* - Self explanatory
*Slim tire* - Self explanatory
*Big Blue* - Is referring to the track of the same name and uses the same font as appears in game.

*"Keep dry"* - A disclaimer that appears on crates on Sunshine Airport as well as on PTT cargo trucks.

*Mario Kart Motor Show* - Is presumably referring to an event that takes place in Bangkok, since it is only advertised on Tour Bangkok Rush. The first advertisement depicts the P-Wing, the second depicts the Flame Flyer with Bowser's color scheme, and the third depicts the Royale.
*"Turn on lights"* - A road sign that appears on N64 Toad's Turnpike.
*BaNaNa Boy* - Generic sponsor that appears on several courses.

*100% Organic Antifreeze* - Appears on the Circuit Special but is otherwise a generic sponsor.
*"Fragile"* - A disclaimer that appears on crates on Sunshine Airport as well as on PTT cargo trucks.
*No Chain Chomps sign* - Is referring to "No Pets" posters found indoors on Water Park.
*Tourist information sign* - A sign that appears on GCN Yoshi Circuit.
*Mario Kart Tour highway sign* - Uses the same design as the prior Highway 8 sign but with a different color scheme. Does not appear on any courses as far as I know.
*Princess Orange* - A business with shops on Toad Harbor.

One of the planes is on the track at the beginning, and several planes take off during the race, which racers can sometimes trick off of while gliding. *Undead Motors* - Appears on the Bone Rattler but is otherwise a generic sponsor.
*Coconut Cafe* - A business with shops on Toad Harbor.
*Morton Construction* - Generic sponsor that appears on several courses.
*"Handle with care"* - A disclaimer that appears on crates on Sunshine Airport as well as on PTT cargo trucks.
*Mario Automobile Association* - A service whose trucks can be found on N64 Toad's Turnpike (they are the ones that can be used as glide ramps).
*Bob-omb Plugs* - Generic sponsor that appears on several courses.
*"Since 92" highway sign* - Uses the same design as the previous two highway signs but once again has a slightly different color scheme. The number refers to the release year of Super Mario Kart and thus the beginning of the series. Does not appear on any courses.
*Lord Bowser* - A racing team themed around Bowser.
*Wario's Gold Mine* - A sign that appears on the track of the same name, above the exit of the mine.
*Luigi Gusters* - A racing team themed around Luigi.
*Shell Cup icon* - Self explanatory
*"MK 246" license plate* - Uses a design likely inspired by U.S. license plates. Does not appear on any courses.
*Bottled drink advertisements* - A collection of generic sponsors that appear on several courses.
*Toad Polar Expedition* - Refers to an expedition that seemingly led to the creation of Ice Ice Outpost. The years refer to when the two DLC packs for the original Mario Kart 8 released. A grayscale version of this design appears on the track itself at the end.
*Wendy's Car Interiors* - Generic sponsor that appears on several courses.
*Item Box sign* - A road sign that appears on N64 Toad's Turnpike.
*Galaxy Air* - An airline which has planes on Sunshine Airport. Several planes take off during the race, which racers can sometimes trick off of while gliding. The airline also has buses which appear on N64 Toad's Turnpike, DS Shroom Ridge, and Tour Berlin Byways.
*Mega Mushroom Large Size Clothing* - Generic sponsor that appears on several courses.
*REXA* - The Rainbow Exploration Agency, a reference to JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) and the agency seemingly responsible for the creation of Mario Kart 8's Rainbow Road track.
*Banana Cup icon* - Self explanatory
*Toad Services* - The station that appears on N64 Toad's Turnpike to the right of the starting line.
*Shy Guy Records* - A sponsor that only appears on Wii Coconut Mall.
*Coconut Mall logo* - Self explanatory
*Larry Lights* - A service that is seemingly helping to run the party on Electrodrome.
*Mario Super Motor Team* - A racing team themed around Mario.
Lights, shadows, and other visual effects:
The powerups used for all cup designs are included throughout the credits. Additionally, there are planes (likely referring to the planes visible in the background of Tour Tokyo Blur), shurikens and cherry blossom petals (referring to Ninja Hideaway), snowflakes and aurora borealis (referring to Tour Vancouver Velocity), Wigglers and a Piranha Plant (likely referring to the hazards on Tour Madrid Drive), and helicopters (with the ice cream cone design from Sky-High Sundae).
For game footage, all footage used is from trailers for the Booster Course Pass waves.

Sense the Booster Course pass has its own Credits now, Does this count as a dlc-game for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? Simular to Mario + Rabbids sparks of hope has the Tower of dooom and The Last spark Hunter dlc-game

I had hoped that the BCP have its own version of the credits, but I thought it would be the same as the base game’s credits just with the BCP courses instead, so when I saw this new version, I was STUNNED in the absolute best way possible!
They absolutely did not have to make this credit scene… especially since it’s locked behind the DLC… but, thank gosh they did, as it made me leave a tear in my eye…
I was tearing up at these credits. Gave me the same vibes as on Wii when I was a kid. Good times.

After almost a decade, the era of Mario Kart 8 can finally be concluded. The music at the start and end of the credits is an amazing nod to the very first Mario Kart game, which was Super Mario Kart for the SNES! It’s also cool how we get to look back at all of the amazing tracks we raced on! This game shall live on until the end of time, so we raise a toast to Mario Kart 8, the Deluxe port, and the Booster Course Pass, for being the biggest and best Mario Kart game there is.
I’m not kidding this credits scene made me leave a tear in my eye… I remember playing mario kart 8 with my brothers when I was 4 (Which one of them is in college now) then I got a switch at 7 years old, and mario kart 8 deluxe… now I’m now 14 as of making this comment and Got the DLC… and man… let me tell you… it’s good to be a 10 year mario kart 8 fan…
Edit: Sadly, I don’t see my brother much anymore… I’ll miss playing Smash, Nintendo Land, and of course… Mario Kart 8…

Same! I was in elementary school when Mario Kart 8 first came out, I'm 19 now and off to college. It's honestly insane that the game's still as popular as it is almost a decade later. I hold this game very close in my heart, quite literally was my entire childhood.
I remember playing this on the wiiU when I was around 5 or 6, and to see it end this way almost 10 years later was absolutely incredible. Seeing these credits for the first time literally almost made me cry 😭😭😭 (glad someone the same age as me also had a similar experience loll)

I wondered where the SNES Mario Kart love went in the Booster Pass, as it only got two tracks total.
This. This is where it went, sending off the biggest Mario Kart game yet with the credits theme for the game that started it all.
Side note though: I know they obviously won't, but this credits theme and montage really has a finale vibe to it, like this was to be the last Mario Kart game to be made at all.

I just love how the beginning and end parts of this ending song is literally a remix of the Super Mario Kart ending sequence.
Makes me wonder that the title screen of base 8 and this pay homage to the very first game back in 1992.

The end of the booster course pass. After a long journey, Mario kart 8 has been expanded to twice its size, including new features like half pipes, custom items, new characters, and a music player. A beautiful final celebration of this game before what seems like the next big step in the Mario kart series. On top of that, this is what I’ve always wanted for Mario kart tour. I have adored the style of Mario Kart Tour and have been disappointed it was stuck behind those terrible controls. To see its best moments brought to its more successful counterpart and then also a beautiful Medly to tribute to all of these tour tracks as the credits is just perfect, and a beautiful send off to Mario Kart Tour as well. Nintendo has outdone themselves. Truly.

i just finally 100% completed this game after months, and,,
for some reason i feel more bittersweet than accomplished
ive done literally everything there is to do
all grand prixes at all ccs
all time trials, both 150, 200, as well as the dlc ones
a bunch of different vs mode and battle mode challenges i made up for the fun of it
cruised down several rainbow roads
got all gold parts
and raced every single track, multiple times until the end
have any of you felt this before?
have any of you completed a game to the max, and felt bittersweet to let go of it, since it was a challenge to complete it, but at the same time one hell of a fun time?
i know im just rambling about a silly game with no meaning, but,,
something abt mario kart feels special to me
it's one of my comfort games if im saying anything
i just wish i could go back and experience my first ever mario kart experience on the wii

vs mode 200cc frantic items hard cpus 48 random tracks in a row made me cry no way a game has. even uploaded a replay of the last race. I feel sorta like that but am holding off on 200cc time trials for that reason. wont get max vr either bc shit internet.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster course pass wave 6 - November 9th 2023.
I'm glad that I pre-ordered the original game and was around from the start of the demo days to the finish of DLC Wave 6. Both games 100% completed + All Amiibo outfits. Very fun and well worth it too.
Until the next Nintendo console, I'll be looking forward to the future installment of this franchise.

My 4 yo son and I play MK8 Deluxe at least 2 times a week. When this credits appeared, he watched the whole 5 minutes presentation, and burst into tears. In such a young age, this credits scene made him emotional to the point he avoids watching it again...

Also, Charles' voice will probably be used for a little while since as long as there isn't a need for new lines, Charles' voice is still perfectly serviceable.

I had purchased the dlc before through the nso expansion pack, and it had expired, but I had beaten all but the wave 6 courses by then. come now and I had just beaten mushroom cup on 150cc and see this right after? oh well, at least it's awesome.
And little did we know that this was the final Mario kart game where Charles would voice Mario and the baby brothers and wario and waluig and Luigi thank you for everything and onward to the next era

for some reason after playing the new courses with my friend online, i got this credits, even though i dont have the dlc ;-;

I watched this twice and I didn't see a credit for the musicians who performed the music for the Booster Course Pass. I bet the Mario Kart Band probably did the music for it, I don't know why Nintendo didn't credit them in the credits though!
