- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is not known for its extreme shortcuts, but I discovered and learned how to do 10 ultra shortcuts in this video. Every shortcut gets progressively harder and by the end I am doing some of the hardest shortcuts to exist in any game. Hey guys I just wanted to say with a lot of the negative attention this video is getting, yes a lot of these shortcuts don’t actually work due to Lakitu pulling you away. I still spent a ton of time on this video and was just trying to make something entertaining. Sorry for misleading you guys and “faking” shortcuts.

You know what you’re doing. You didn’t change anything in the title or thumbnail so it’s still misleading. No ultra shortcuts exist.

Truth is, MK8DX has no ultra cuts.

Intresting how you farmed more clicks and engagement from people who don't play the game by not driving forwards after you complete the cute, because if you did everyone would know most these skip checkpoint spots like the waluigi one
I just discovered a shortcut/glitch in music park, where the 2 ramps are(glider and normal) , if u time the transition from one ramp to the next of the glider ramp right, u can glide over the roof ykwm?
You didint even do the sick glitch cut on electrodome. You did sloppy motion glider that was slower than going round. Well done
The only ultra cuts are like mushroom gorge gap cut or sky body Sunday ice cream cut yeah idk

Fun fact: The waluigi circuit turn skip stood as the first and only mk Double Dash ultra shortcut for over 10 years since the game's release! It was discovered in 2003, and remained as the only one if its kind all the way up until 2018.
In the original game, you couldn't make the jump to the end of the track, but you would enter a lakitu zone that placed you there. It saved approximately 2 seconds.
I did the Waluigi stadium one but lakitu had to be dumb
The piranha plant cofe lap 2 cut is actually easy, just hold your drift
I should specificy it is easy on 200cc
0:20 took me 628 tries to do and this is real
Question how come no world records uses the choco mountain ultra shortcut once it would save so much time as it counts the lap
Takes too much time to set up
It skips a key checkpoint so the lap doesn't count
