Your production quality increases tenfold with every video, it's incredible! You're such a joy to tune into, keep being you and keep telling me weird stuff about these games I like
You should try a similar challenge but with only the left control stick allowed. There seem to be a few spots where just steering while moving will help you keep hitting boost panels or similar objects, although I don't know if any of that will actually beat out Kalimari Desert
Really good stuff! I realized your videos haven't appeared on my timeline for quite a while, and then low and behold, one finally appears again and wow! Your voice sure changed since last time I watched your channel haha.
I love how analytical these videos are, its just math and logic to answer questions like this or what cart combo is best for certain situations. It actually reminds me of early Game Theory. So I'm looking forward to when this channel claims that Elephant Daisy was the first supermutant in Fallout.
I know you've heard this a lot at this point but your content quality is absurdly good, and I was really surprised to see how young you were when you started considering the quality of your vids. I love this type of content too btw, underrated channel
I think this video would be even better if you presented more of a story - maybe work up from shorter paths to longer ones, give the distance of each path as you go, and then discuss the laborious testing of the train path last, so we get to come with you on your journey to find the best track. just a suggestion, your content is already great!
Sick video! I feel like it could have been cooler with more narrativisation, like if you made landing the trick on calamari desert more of a climax and gave the viewer the knowledge that it was in fact the longest at a similar time, that would have been more exciting
3:20 Actually having wheels on this would make you 'slide' backwards a bit, if you're not using breaks. Try putting a ball on an object and then moving said object. The ball will appear to move backwards relative to the surface of the object it's on.
Tip: if Im geeky enough to watch a video like this, I want to see each succesful attempt without cuts from start to finish. Sped up is acceptable but rn it feels like you glossed over the best part 😅
Something I would like you to try is how far you can go without using any acceleration (you can turn left or right but no acceleration of your occord, no snaking either
Ain’t no way he called Shroom Ridge by the wrong name 💀 3:39 It’s still understandable. Shroom Ridge is basically just the annoying little brother of Toad’s Turnpike.
Well technically, you could count the distance made with lakitu on Mount Wario since your kart is still moving and you didn't touch the controller (i don't think it changes the results tho)
Wouldn’t the glider at the end of Mount Wario give you more distance? The boost panels just before it might be close enough together to string them together. Also, half pipe ramps might be something else to consider.
I honestly love watching this channel grow. It's great listening to his voice over because there's a clear difference, not just the pitch of his voice but he has genuinely just got better at voice overs!! His content never fails to impress
During your explanation you said you would use a 3d model to find equivalent length places in the track. If you have a 3d model of the track you can just make measurements using whatever modeling program you use, no?
3:20 i get it i think !! isnt that the totk patent for staying still relative to a moving platform or something? ^^' lmao
You're right! I'm actually astounded that you got that within an hour of the release
I may have seen it in a Monster Maze video
???
How is Nintendo able to patent something that has been done hundreds of times? This was really common in those low budget licensed ps2 games.
@@haroeneissa790they probably only patented one way to do it.
If there's one type of niche I love on RUclips, it's oddly specific challenge videos on games
Real
Yesss
Challenge videos on games which just completely play around the challenge itself resulting in no remarkable findings
Auto Acceleration + Smart Steering: "Imma end this mans whole career"
Deadass I didn't think of this either
Oh yeahhhhh, but that would defeat the purpose of the video lol
burger 🍔
That’d be a fun one, I wonder if every single track can be completed with no controller input that way or there are some impossible ones
Yooo Cam what’s up
this has gotta be one of the most underrated channels on yt currently
Tru

Dude I just rewatched one of your old videos and damn, puberty finally caught up!
Exactly the same impression haha
3:34 toads turnpike redesign be looking sick
He accidentally said N64 Toad’s Turnpike instead of DS Shroom Ridge
@@HWLetsRace ik
@@HWLetsRaceno duh
Always answering the questions I never knew I needed the answer too, I love it.

3:39 thats not toads turnpike lmao
😅
That’s what I’m saying
Great video! I've been watching for a while and it's so crazy to hear how you've matured in you voice
Puberty has done crazy things to this man
def one of the jopes moments of all times
I could never have thought of this idea. It's so cool to see challenges that I've never seen before.
MAAAAAAAAAAD respect for having a combo you play that isnt just whatever the meta is
I have loved watching your challenge grow over time. Always stellar stuff
I love how analytical these videos are, its just math and logic to answer questions like this or what cart combo is best for certain situations. It actually reminds me of early Game Theory. So I'm looking forward to when this channel claims that Elephant Daisy was the first supermutant in Fallout.
What an insane video, huge respect for actually pulling some of these off. 加油!
For the shyguy falls one, if you hit a booster panel towards the end, it could push you far enough to hit the glider ramp
If only the Kalimari Desert train would let you go around the entire loop of track.
WHEN THE HECK DID THIS GUY’S VOICE GET SO LOW WHOAAA
Jopes makes the most random videos possible
Amazing
another day, another wild jopes video 🔥
Your voice sure has changed since your early videos.
3:40 The second toads turnpike?
He accidentally said Toad’s Turnpike instead of Shroom Ridge.
I know you've heard this a lot at this point but your content quality is absurdly good, and I was really surprised to see how young you were when you started considering the quality of your vids. I love this type of content too btw, underrated channel
3:40 you said toads turnpike😂
Underrated channel, give this guy a sub
I will never use this information for myself, yet I still watched the entire thing
If you sit on the turntable at the water park you can spin forever
I think this video would be even better if you presented more of a story - maybe work up from shorter paths to longer ones, give the distance of each path as you go, and then discuss the laborious testing of the train path last, so we get to come with you on your journey to find the best track. just a suggestion, your content is already great!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm trying out different methods of storytelling/explaining so this is really helpful.
Great video! I love Mario Kart. I’m subbed
You never cease to impressed me with these ideas
Sick video! I feel like it could have been cooler with more narrativisation, like if you made landing the trick on calamari desert more of a climax and gave the viewer the knowledge that it was in fact the longest at a similar time, that would have been more exciting
That's a very cool video. Keep it going
Bro I love this guy but if only he streamed more.
:/
Fr, all i want for my birthday is a jopes stream
why are so many comments before the upload date?
@@theominouspigeon we're his pookies, we get early access 😎
@@Jopeshello fellow shy guy
my first thought for this challenge is falling straight down in lap 2 of 3ds rainbow road, but im not sure if youre counting vertical distance
Yes it’s amazing day because jopes uploaded 😃
0:21 the cars don’t spin you out in the DLC
3:40 ah yes, toads turnpike.
No, it’s Shroom Ridge
This cured my sadness
This vid is literally soo good! Well done!
3:20 Actually having wheels on this would make you 'slide' backwards a bit, if you're not using breaks.
Try putting a ball on an object and then moving said object. The ball will appear to move backwards relative to the surface of the object it's on.
I know we're all thinking about the obvious, "What if you had another player try to push you to the end?"
Great job with these vids, they’re all really good and entertaining ideas.
In two years, your content got such a glow up !
i love your channel dude, keep going
Hehehe I got the joke, I love videos that explore random concepts. Experimenting with a game is just as fun as getting to play it
MK8 came out before TotK, so the technology for staying on top of cars simply didn’t exist yet.
underrated MK channel 👊🏽
Very creative idea and nice video!😁
I will never play this game but I will always listen to people talk about it.
Tip: if Im geeky enough to watch a video like this, I want to see each succesful attempt without cuts from start to finish. Sped up is acceptable but rn it feels like you glossed over the best part 😅
Feel like cutting the quantifying is missing a huge section of what makes this content good
could you elaborate a bit on this? I'm not totally sure what you mean
@@Jopes you skipped the evaluation section and jumped straight to results
You can clear the gap with the boost panel after the waterfall on mount wario with a high speed stat
Something I would like you to try is how far you can go without using any acceleration (you can turn left or right but no acceleration of your occord, no snaking either
Jopes video drops and you know it's gunna be a banger
We got pubescent Jopes before we got Mario Kart 9! Congrats bro!
please tell me what the units are bro lol
pov you are jopes and are be jopes
Ain’t no way he called Shroom Ridge by the wrong name 💀 3:39
It’s still understandable. Shroom Ridge is basically just the annoying little brother of Toad’s Turnpike.
i dont play mario kart, but these videos are always entertaining.
You can beat toad turnpike without ever touching A. You do have to use mushrooms tho
Just imagine if you had Joycon drift throughout. That'll handle those corners.
Well technically, you could count the distance made with lakitu on Mount Wario since your kart is still moving and you didn't touch the controller (i don't think it changes the results tho)
I really like this scientific videos
really underrated channel you feel like you have 1-10m subs but less than 100k? PEOPLE subsribe to this man.
One minute in and you've completely undermined the title of the video. That might be a record!
Great vid once again Jopes!
why is the video footage so smooth 😭 it's clearly a crisp 60 fps, is everyone else just recording on lower?
I like the video, but I think you should’ve gone into detail about measuring the distance to make it longer
Wouldn’t the glider at the end of Mount Wario give you more distance? The boost panels just before it might be close enough together to string them together. Also, half pipe ramps might be something else to consider.
You can drive a lap backwards and the red path Will apeer
Thanks for reminding me to turn off my auto acceleration
0:30 absolute distance does exist in this game
Man cooked a banger
Could we see the whole clip of the kalamari desert run? I'm curious about the lap change partway through
3:40 ERM Actually this is Shroom Ridge
🤓
3:39 Shroom Ridge* 🤓
Cool idea!
I honestly love watching this channel grow.
It's great listening to his voice over because there's a clear difference, not just the pitch of his voice but he has genuinely just got better at voice overs!!

Imagine if Jopes hadn't been recording
1. Turn on auto acceleration
2. Turn on smart steering
3. Profit
He knows he knows
3:17 friction is a lie
Very slippery metal?
Invisible conveyor belt
Wow this is a good video
Great job!
Just so you know, I am not subscribed to your channel and this is like the fourth one I see from you
I am subed with notification and hope you can hit 100k I believe that you can make it
Also you can ride the cars as well
3:37 I think you meant Shroom Ridge?
What about the longest distance you can go, allowing accelerating but not steering?
Luigi shy guy
Toad is crying 3:35
Unfortunately I got the car physics joke
During your explanation you said you would use a 3d model to find equivalent length places in the track. If you have a 3d model of the track you can just make measurements using whatever modeling program you use, no?
good video
Funny Jopes the Mopes🙃
Underrated!
Useful
Do the cars in Berlin Byway carry you any noteworthy distance? Genuine question.
