Princess Catherine regularly wears Alice Bow insoles, $27-$29 leather insoles that cushion the soles of one's feet for added comfort. One item she almost never goes without? Barely There Non-Slip Tights from her favorite department store, John Lewis. The pantyhose feature soles embossed with several translucent strips of gel, which act as a non-slip grip on the foot. Available in nude, natural tan and nearly black, they are even budget-friendly, retailing for just $6.50 (although delivery to the U.S. will cost an extra $13). Going to the UK I am able to get those tights and they are great...and do not run easily. The Alice Bow leather insoles are available in the US and they make a difference. The Princess of Wales knows how to prepare for looking her best and being comfortable. Thanks for sharing the info.

Princess Catherine has the most graceful stride when she is wearing heels. I always feel like a 5 year old playing dress up in my moms shoes 😊

Brittany. Lovely box! At Christmas, our Church fill shoe boxes and send the goodies to Children that need. This last Christmas the boxes went to children caught up in the Russien invasion. We need to wrap/ line the boxes with Christmas paper, then add small things like hat scarf gloves, flannels soap, a toy. Sounds mundane to us, but these children love them .they don't have much! Shoe boxes are hard to come by in Rochester where I live! If you feel like bringing a spare box over in June! By way, I'm not on twitter.

Both dresses are GORGEOUS! Lose weight if you want to, but love yourself regardless. I’ve spent too many years berating myself over my weight, and that’s a lot of time spent on negativity towards myself I’ll never get back.
Find a good tailor/dressmaker. Having your clothes fit to your body is ideal. That’s mainly why the royals always look so good in their clothes, they’ve had alterations done so the garments fit them exactly. I should say they look good when they’ve done this. And we can all tell when some of them don’t. When Princess Catherine bought those dresses, she then had them altered before wearing them for public engagements.

I love both of the dresses you bought! I think the Needle and Thread dress is a periwinkle color. The Self-Portrait dress is gorgeous! I didn't know it had lace at the bottom! They both look gorgeous on you! Those blue shoes would go with the N&T dress. I love the shoes but I just don't do heels that high anymore.

Yes, let’s all dress up! People hardly do that anymore, and it’s such a shame. It’s fun and uplifting to dress up. I often see people going out to town in clothes people used to wear only for things like cleaning the house or gardening. Here in the warmer climes it’s jeans or shorts and t- shirts. I never even see women wearing dresses! Oh, and don’t get me started on black. For decades black has been the main color people seem to wear in some cities. Let’s bring back some style! ❤

Remember, any clothes she gets are tailored to fit her perfectly. That's one of the reasons she looks polished. I heard a stylist say whatever you buy, get it tailored to you so it will look more expensive.

Periwinkle for the Needle & Thread dress, imo. Regarding the black Self-Portrait dress, I'll bet Catherine had one or two hooks & eyes sewed into the skirt for good measure. Everything you purchased is gorgeous and looks great on you!
That black Self Portrait dress is stunning on you! Well placed double sided tape will make the skirt feel more secure. And shape wear under will totally reign the girls in! (Speaking from years of experience!). Those blue shoes look like they’d go with the other dress on my TV. It’s truly so much fun to watch your reactions. I enjoy your videos very much.
Princess Catherine is the Modern day version of what a Future Queen Consort should be like. She reminds me a little bit of Queen Mary Of Teck & Queen Elizabeth,The Queen Mother...because just how she understands the role of The Monarchy,etc. I love the causes she & The Prince of Wales supports,etc.
Interesting, I was actually telling a friend that Princess Catherine’s effortless fashion and influence reminds me of Queen Alexandra (King Edward VII’s Queen Consort). Queen Alexandra looks so pretty in all of her portraits, and she was a major fashion icon before she even became queen (just like Princess Catherine).
This was pleasant and cute. Yesterday was Catherine's birthday. Oh, what a present she received from her brother in law!. I'm almost sick, because it is everywhere, and she must be exhausted. This video was cheerfully and nice, I think we all needed something like that. I wish Catherine could see it, to feel better.
Fun fact: I myself just unpack a tunic that will fit me perfectly when a loose a few pounds. 😀 But your 'motivation' looks much more gorgeous than my.

The Needle and Thread dress looks periwinkle on my screen. The Emmy London shoes are a good match to that dress. The Self-portrait outfit looks great on you! Besides wearing pantyhose, you can attach clothing weights to the bottom of the skirt, which sometimes the royal ladies do. That was a fun post--subscribed!

This was so much fun! I think that the embroidered dress is more on the lavender side, but it is close to periwinkle which is pretty much my favorite color. It is a gorgeous dress though. I loved the pumps, especially the blue ones. I would love to wear those. The black dress is so much more complex than it looks at first glance. Very nice. Maybe a pin half way down the skirt in case of a big wind gust lol.

I’m sure the princess has a tailor to sew in some snaps or hook and eye closures on wrap style skirts/dresses, but there is dress tape you can buy that is sticky on both sides. I get it at ulta near the hair accessories. You can secure the skirt and also the bodice. You looked great! Thanks for sharing!
I bought the lip gloss and it’s awesome. I’m very picky as to what I put on my lips but the gloss smells great and tastes good. Even my husband likes it so I am hooked on it 🥰🙏🏻

I was absurdly excited for this video and it was really fun. Everything is gorgeous! I love the colour of that ribbon. You should use it as a hair thingy or tie it around the handle of a handbag or something so you can see it.

I LOVE THE COLOUR!! Better than the more beige I thought it was going to be! Catherine ALWAYS has insoles and she has tape she puts on the heels and on her blue pair looks like she’s had a rubber sole put on for non skid.. I think you’d call that blue “periwinkle blue”.. beautiful!!

Hello! You mentioned at the end of this video that you might enjoy an upgrade to your filming spot. I have a very economical and visually stunning option to suggest - draped saris! I use them all the time as in home and special event decor for walls, tables, and to conceal any furniture or mess I want to hide. If you don’t need the typical 5 yards of fabric, you can get sari scarves (aka dupattas). You can find a good selection of either for sale, used but in perfect condition for décor, on eBay. Simpler ones often for cost just a few dollars, and come in a huge variety of wonderful colors. If you have a bit more in your budget, you can consider saris and dupattas with incredible trims and embroidery. Then if needed, you can search platforms such as Pinterest for ideas on how to hang and drape them. Hope this helps!

I love, love, love these clothes! And, speaking from experience, it's always good to have a really dressy gown on hand. In my (many) years, I have had numerous occasions when a formal occasion has come up and I needed something to wear. And, for some reason, it always seems difficult for me to get something at the last minute! I like having something really nice on hand to wear, that I don't have to worry about! At your leisure, find the shoes/bag to match on sale, and then you have them! (I'd go with nude, but that's just my opinion) You look fantastic in the blazer, BTW! 🥰

Brittany, you're just so darn fun to watch! It's like watching a little blonde Barbie with a sweet kinda squeaky voice, but with the brain of my history professor and the vocabulary of my English teacher.
I've never really cared about current fashion trends, but am still fascinated by people who do. I wouldn't know a $3,000 purse from a Goodwill purse but I know the shoes with the red soles cost more than my car! 😆
I grew up on ranches, so high fashion for me was a new pair of wranglers or even better, a new pair of Justin boots. I'm an old Gramma now, whose fashion days are long gone. I couldn't even stand up in shoes like you showed in this video.
But I've been an artist my whole life too, and the beautiful rich color of those new heels is fascinating. You can't categorize the color and I think the eye will associate it with so many colors, which will make them a very versatile pair of shoes. Think like a cream colored dress with almost any warm color as an accent in the fabric and those shoes will work. They'd also look stunning as a color pop if you're wearing black or white, especially if you can find matchy accessories to go with the shoes. Also dresses on the opposite side of the color wheel will go with that rosy, dusty color. (Think various shades of blues like periwinkle gunmetal blue etc) I don't know for sure, this is the artist brain writing not a fashionista, lol.
Your new dresses are pretty. Enjoy them! To gauge the true color of the blue/lavender one, take it outside in the sun. But to me, it almost looked like those blue shoes you were showing us might go well with that dress, but it's hard to tell on a computer screen.
Anyway keep up the good work. You're an amazing young woman. I love both your RUclips channels and watch them all the time.

Brittany, I've worked in the Fashion Industry in both retail and Manufacturing. The advice I would give anyone would be to shop for you and you alone. It's nice to see garments on others and love the styles they wear, but I'd rather see you in something that's meant specifically for you and your style, not someone else's. You look terrific in block colours, specifically black is a favourite I like to see you in, but felt that the first Dress washed you out with the colouring and didn't do anything to lift your skin-tone or suit your hair colour. Despite the second Dress being black, I did feel that it didn't suit your body shape either, especially in the top half. When spending large amounts, even if on Sale, the garments you buy should fit perfectly and suit your body shape specifically, not that of another. Please understand that I'm only passing on some advice and not being at all mean, only helpful. I just know that there are many other garments that will suit you much better than these outfits do. The length of both garments were far too long and made you look shorter than what you are. Even the shoes looked awkward and very high as well. Maybe trying some accessories would be a safer bet? I know you love to follow what the Royals like to wear, particularly Catherine, but not all these styles will suit your body shape. I hope there's no hard feelings, as I'm only passing on some friendly fashion advice. I've always liked to be different and like to wear styles that aren't the flavour of the month. Your best look during this video was the black dress that you started out in. I do hope you find your own style and build on that. What would be a good idea is to get your colours done and visit an expert in fashion styling which you could show us all the experience. Warmest wishes.🇦🇺💖🕊

@@RoyalFashionNews Thanks for responding well. I was worried that you may take my observations the wrong way and it took me awhile before finally posting the comment. I have to be so very careful with what I wear due to loosing a considerable amount of weight, for the second time in my life due to ill health, that I couldn't afford to loose in July of 2021. A women in her early 50's doesn't look at all well when under 40kgs. The first time I weighed one kilo more than my German Shepherd weighed at 36kgs! I've had to be rather particular about what I wear and whilst trying to look stylish, it's not easy with tailored clothing styles which I adore. Even my underwear wasn't fitting me and I had to re-purchase so much. This is the danger when born naturally thin and far too many think this is a good thing. Believe me when I say that it's not all it's cracked up to be, especially when things do go wrong medically to result in dramatic weight loss. I do love fashion, maybe too much? When a very young child, I didn't care for dolls, only one that I could make outfits for and that's where my interest stopped. I taught myself to knit at 5yrs of age and have sewed probably for just as long. I distinctly remember the red woollen polo-neck sweater that I made at only 9yrs old. I still design knitwear and create to this very day. It's just not economically viable to sew clothes anymore but it comes in handy for alterations. My closest friend is American and is also an admirer of Catherine. She did a RUclips video that included some styles she was able to pick up from what we call an 'opportunity shop' to recreate some of her styles. It's still strange for me to listen to so many from the US who love the British Royal Family plus other Royals too. I suppose we take it for granted when growing up with a Monarch as our Head of State, but it's nice to hear your excitement when speaking about all Royals. I'm looking forward to more videos to come! You'll have to fill us in later to tell us whether the Clarins Lip Gloss is worth it or not. I have suffered extremely dry lips all my life and always on the lookout for anything that will keep my lips hydrated. It still is creepy to have a perfect stranger ask to use a lip gloss and I think that the only person who doesn't understand this is Hazbeen. Myself I would say the new pair you have is a terracotta color and from when I can see on my phone I think that's sort of looks like a periwinkle of the ones he had before. Those are really great colors and thank you for sharing your excitement with us.
