That cornflower blue dress and that military themed dress give me very old fashioned vibes, like updated Regency/Victorian/Edwardian stuff. Which is a good look on her and helps fit her role of looking regal

After she wore that dress, everyone was wearing cape dresses, but none as well as Catherine. I love her in the pantsuits and I think that she will get better, if that is possible, as time goes on. The aubergine (you called it amethyst) suit she wore on arrival in Boston is my favorite suit. Loved, loved the yellow dress and the coral garden party dress. The Top Gun premiere dress was awesome and showcased her toned body! The state dinner ensemble was gorgeous and she was perfect.
Catherine has continually honed her style and I’ve noticed a whole new level of polish in her wardrobe, styling and accessories. I absolutely loved her red gown + the Lotus Flower Tiara appearance at the Diplomatic Reception. That event and a state dinner are classic galas and have a “white tie” dress code (this includes tiaras and orders). The other occasions to which she wore long dresses weren’t galas; those dress codes were either cocktail, dinner or black tie (which used to be a tiara-level event but no orders, iirc, but now it has a more relaxed code in the UK). Happy New Year, everyone!
I absolutely love Catherine in suits when she's working! It is a great modern look for her. And I'm with you, the pink one is my favorite! It's a gorgeous shade of pink, it looks great on her and I love the juxtaposition of the professional tailored look in such a feminine color!
It was great to see all those fashions again. One dress I really loved was the Stella Mccarthy dress in dark pink that she wore on the balcony. It seemed to be overlooked.

The Middleton Ladies have the genetic material to die for, fab figures. Catherine Princess of Wales, has the ability to wear a simple M & S trouser & jacket to the Fab Bond golden girl cape dress and look stunning, at the same time look effortless. I love the vintage blue blazer she has worn two times. The raspberry dress she wore at the Jubilee, the Self Portrait cream dress, the black outfit she wore for the Queen's funeral, and the plaid coat dress she wore in Boston are my top looks. The James Bond dress took my breath away. At first, I didn't like the Earth Shot dress because of the color, but she looked so fabulous that I instantly changed my mind. She can wear a hat, too!

She has the best hair on the planet and I personally adore her in wide brimmed hats and especially loved her look at the Queen’s funeral. Coral is a fabulous colour on Catherine. The Cinderella inspired light blue satin gown in the Caribbean was breathtaking. She’s such a stunner, I’d love to see her in even more edgy dramatic high fashion looks.

She almost always looks fabulous, she has the perfect figure for clothes, boyishly slim with broad shoulders. But it’s that smile, it lights her up and she radiates warmth and happiness. She would look just as amazing in a hessian sack!
Catherine has definitely wowed us with many outfits from recent times, especially when it comes to evening wear. The 'Cape Dress' as her first as Princess of Wales was a winner. What many may not understand, with her wearing a red dress for her 40th, is that the number 40 is represented by the gem Ruby, hence the colour red. I would love to see Catherine in more Suits, whether pants or skirts. As long as the trousers do not drag along the ground, as I find this trend tacky. Being this tall, wearing stilettos on most occasions and having a figure that is basically the same width from a front on perspective, straight up and down, many of these dresses accentuate just how thin she is. The yellow one that is softly gathered from the hips down suits her much better and gives her more of a body shape, whereas many dresses that are fitted or cling to her body and thighs make her appear even thinner. Breaking up this waistline area does her many favours as we can see with the suits. I'm not such an admirer of some off-the-shoulder looks, especially on royalty but the Black number with the white around the shoulders was sitting perfectly where it wasn't showing too much. Black does help conceal her lack of body shape, again from front on. I'd really love to see her break away from constant dresses and experiment with suits that can be used to add more dimension to her figure. I have the same issue with body shape as Catherine does, except not quite so tall and with less at the 'rear'. I'm always particular with what I wear to make me appear larger and more defined, as being very thin does not always work and I tend to disappear when turning side-on. Most often, I'm in pants with a longer jacket, especially pants/jeans that do not cling to the legs or if they do, it's with higher boots. Dressing one who is ultra-thin, such as Catherine, is not always as easy as many would think, especially with all the different colours she needs to wear. Imagine all the different jackets she could experiment with that can be swapped around with other skirts or pants. It would open up a whole new world of styles for her to try. I loved her in that pale silverish evening gown that flowed out from the waistline. It's not easy for those of us who have less height to pull off a gown like this. I would also like to see her in some subtle tartan or checks, instead of always wearing block colouring. That English Countryside style that incorporates 'riding wear' or military inspired styles have always looked great on Catherine. Even a warm chunky knit with jeans and boots look wonderful on her. Above all, she wears her styles with confidence which goes a long way when presenting an outfit to the world. Well done Catherine!🇦🇺💖💐

@@Pibbers225 I appreciate your response. As stated, I have a very similar figure and it can be difficult to get an outfit just right without looking too thin. I lost a considerable amount of weight that I couldn't afford to loose during 2021 and have had to adjust what I wear dramatically. All I can do is try to add muscle tone, which is one thing that Catherine has much of, but in the right proportions. I've loved fashion from a very young child and would make my own clothes, by sewing and knitting. I don't sew anymore as it's cheaper to purchase but I do still design knitwear for myself and others. Glad you were able to make it through that essay!💖
There is something of a Katherine Hepburn 1940's 'Philadelphia Story' upper-class Patrician style around Catherine's new look this year. Complete with that elegant but ever so slightly self-depreciating humor that is at the heart of that set's style icons like Katherine Hepburn. Quite in contrast to the Audrey Hepburn gamine yet brooding Existentialist/ Beatnik style. Though Catherine has the figure for both of these styles. Absolute YES for the blue periwinkle outfit!

Your picks, I basically agree with. Though, I do love the wide brim hat on Princess Catherine. Sometimes, especially when mourning in a huge public moment, you may need a place to hide a bit. I love Princess Catherine’s fashion looks! She even had a perfect look at the funeral services for Queen Elizabeth and for Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. She really looked like ‘ Queen in Waiting,’ as she was so accurately named by Katie Nichol. She truly is the one of the best dressed ever. The Swedish Royalty always brings it! Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria & Princess Sophie clearly enjoy wearing the Tiaras as they’re meant to be worn, frequently. I adored their looks at ‘Big Awards Event! I thought they all looked great but please someone loan, give or buy Princess Sophie another Tiara. She’s given birth to 3 sons & attends everything. Queen Maxima is utter perfection! Queen Camilla, Princess Catherine, Duchess Sophie always look so beautiful but until now, as you’ve gently pointed out, haven’t had the opportunity to wear the jewels as often as could have. I think with the passing of the Princess Margaret, the Queen Mother & Princess Diana and with Queen Elizabeth II getting up in age & not feeling well, it wasn’t a priority. Hopefully, that’ll change & we’ll see the jewelry more. It’s time for the NEW Blood to Take Their Place! And, not just getting in & out of a car. Catherine has definitely wowed us with many outfits from recent times, especially when it comes to evening wear. The 'Cape Dress' as her first as Princess of Wales was a winner. What many may not understand, with her wearing a red dress for her 40th, is that the number 40 is represented by the gem Ruby, hence the colour red. I would love to see Catherine in more Suits, whether pants or skirts. As long as the trousers do not drag along the ground, as I find this trend tacky. Being this tall, wearing stilettos on most occasions and having a figure that is basically the same width from a front on perspective, straight up and down, many of these dresses accentuate just how thin she is. The yellow one that is softly gathered from the hips down suits her much better and gives her more of a body shape, whereas many dresses that are fitted or cling to her body and thighs make her appear even thinner. Breaking up this waistline area does her many favours as we can see with the suits. I'm not such an admirer of some off-the-shoulder looks, especially on royalty but the Black number with the white around the shoulders was sitting perfectly where it wasn't showing too much. Black does help conceal her lack of body shape, again from front on. I'd really love to see her break away from constant dresses and experiment with suits that can be used to add more dimension to her figure. I have the same issue with body shape as Catherine does, except not quite so tall and with less at the 'rear'. I'm always particular with what I wear to make me appear larger and more defined, as being very thin does not always work and I tend to disappear when turning side-on. Most often, I'm in pants with a longer jacket, especially pants/jeans that do not cling to the legs or if they do, it's with higher boots. Dressing one who is ultra-thin, such as Catherine, is not always as easy as many would think, especially with all the different colours she needs to wear. Imagine all the different jackets she could experiment with that can be swapped around with other skirts or pants. It would open up a whole new world of styles for her to try. I loved her in that pale silverish evening gown that flowed out from the waistline. It's not easy for those of us who have less height to pull off a gown like this. I would also like to see her in some subtle tartan or checks, instead of always wearing block colouring. That English Countryside style that incorporates 'riding wear' or military inspired styles have always looked great on Catherine. Even a warm chunky knit with jeans and boots look wonderful on her. Above all, she wears her styles with confidence which goes a long way when presenting an outfit to the world. Well done Catherine!🇦🇺💖💐

@@Pibbers225 I appreciate your response. As stated, I have a very similar figure and it can be difficult to get an outfit just right without looking too thin. I lost a considerable amount of weight that I couldn't afford to loose during 2021 and have had to adjust what I wear dramatically. All I can do is try to add muscle tone, which is one thing that Catherine has much of, but in the right proportions. I've loved fashion from a very young child and would make my own clothes, by sewing and knitting. I don't sew anymore as it's cheaper to purchase but I do still design knitwear for myself and others. Glad you were able to make it through that essay!💖
There is something of a Katherine Hepburn 1940's 'Philadelphia Story' upper-class Patrician style around Catherine's new look this year. Complete with that elegant but ever so slightly self-depreciating humor that is at the heart of that set's style icons like Katherine Hepburn. Quite in contrast to the Audrey Hepburn gamine yet brooding Existentialist/ Beatnik style. Though Catherine has the figure for both of these styles. Absolute YES for the blue periwinkle outfit!

Your picks, I basically agree with. Though, I do love the wide brim hat on Princess Catherine. Sometimes, especially when mourning in a huge public moment, you may need a place to hide a bit. I love Princess Catherine’s fashion looks! She even had a perfect look at the funeral services for Queen Elizabeth and for Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. She really looked like ‘ Queen in Waiting,’ as she was so accurately named by Katie Nichol. She truly is the one of the best dressed ever. The Swedish Royalty always brings it! Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria & Princess Sophie clearly enjoy wearing the Tiaras as they’re meant to be worn, frequently. I adored their looks at ‘Big Awards Event! I thought they all looked great but please someone loan, give or buy Princess Sophie another Tiara. She’s given birth to 3 sons & attends everything. Queen Maxima is utter perfection! Queen Camilla, Princess Catherine, Duchess Sophie always look so beautiful but until now, as you’ve gently pointed out, haven’t had the opportunity to wear the jewels as often as could have. I think with the passing of the Princess Margaret, the Queen Mother & Princess Diana and with Queen Elizabeth II getting up in age & not feeling well, it wasn’t a priority. Hopefully, that’ll change & we’ll see the jewelry more. It’s time for the NEW Blood to Take Their Place! And, not just getting in & out of a car. I believe the Royals lost a little interest as they stopped all these things. People enjoy seeing them dressed & with their tiara & jewelry! They’re meant to be worn! I miss seeing Queen Margarethe.it seems so empty without her as she always dressed & wore the jewelry! I have thought many times how the night of opening with Tom Cruise, a perfect opportunity was lost! That night, screamed, ‘TIARA’ ! And, it probably would’ve been a Magazine Cover Photo! I’m sure Tom Cruise would’ve loved it! He seemed enchanted with both the Princess and Prince William! Those 3 totally Rocked their looks! 🇺🇸❤💕👏👏👏🙏🇬🇧Thank You Brit! Nice job!
