    Gamers have all the necessary attributes to absolutely kill it in BJJ. Video game skills are very transferable to this domain.

    i started muay thai a couple months ago (i know its not super similar to bjj) after playing a lot of for honor, i was laughing about how much it translates. the game is all about feinting, making reads and conditioning your opponent into doing something you can punish them for

      I have thought literally the exact same thing! Sometimes mid combo I feint a heavy hook just to get into a clinch and feels exactly like guardbreaking

      😂 I love this bc I used to be such a sweat on that game unfortunately for BJJ the only coalition is probably class comparison like do you like the top heavy pressure guard pass style, do you like to get under and elevate for leg locks or do you like to play on the outside with range go for sweeps I'd say vanguard is kinda classic BJJ assassin is leglock inversion for guard and for passing it's toreando and athleticism stuff heavy is more pressure passing and slow for guards id say half guards stuff where they can lay on their back and be more lax sweeping is like perry punishing guard break is probably passing maybe

      You don't really have to talk much to people. We used to have an autistic kid at our gym. He was really good at bjj, but he rarely ever said anything. Now that i think of it, I'm not sure if I've ever heard him say anything. Sadly his mother pulled him out of training because he wasn't doing good in school.

    Most Gamers are physically weak and can’t handle rolling ….. to be a master in a choke you need to prove it in competition at the black belt level. You are delusional for stating that you are a master of RNC 😂maybe in a video game but not in real life

    • @younglion300
      @younglion300 Месяц назад +2

      He is inspiring otherwise static people to get into sport and physical training, I see no reason to put 'Gamers' down. Maybe he is delusional but how would you know and how does that prove his message wrong?

    • @stevenwilliams7041
      @stevenwilliams7041 Месяц назад

      @@younglion300because if they can’t get past what this guy commented and go to the gym anyway then how are they gonna handle physicality? 😂 this is only the first step because it’s a defensive art with little kinetic energy so not the best for dealing with unexpected violence… I play ac, hitman, ufc but wouldn’t consider myself a true gamer… you need boxing once you get to blue or wrestling or judo because why train if some dude with more warrior dna just comes along and whoops you on the street if you train combat sports it needs to change you for the better
