Got a 2025 DCT. Watched all your EN videos, great stuff! Looking forward to upgrading and tuning this thing. Super fun to drive stock already. Thanks for making entertaining and helpful videos!

cant wait to get mine. You got balls for ripping yours apart and voiding the warranty!

There's no such thing as a blanket voided warranty. That being said, yes a warranty *claim* can absolutely be denied do to modifications. An example, I actually got my front brake calipers replaced under warranty yesterday even though they were clearly abused on-track.

@@williamrori1274 really?? Sheesh that’s awesome even with the mods and obvious track use they replaced calipers. Those could be seen as regular wear items. I’m torn between the TLX aspec and this car, will be purchasing in December. I have always been a Honda lifer and fanboy and my dream car was always the SI/R but being an adult in traffic I don’t want a manual. This car has won me over in so many categories, and the exhaust is the cherry on top

Lots of R&D with this build, that much of the EN community benefited from.
My big question with looking back, what would you have done differently knowing what you know now?? Mods were minimal, but would you have set it up the same, or done some different?
Thanks for keeping us posted along the way!

Well done videos on the elantra n, they really have me considering one. Did Will daily his? I'm also in michigan and would like to make it to waterford and gingerman next summer. What are your opinions on track insurance for HPDEs?

Will drove his EN daily when it was nice out, I'm kinda the same way with my Z. Suns out, fun cars out 😃
I've personally never worried about track insurance but my cars have always been less than $20k. I've never gotten to the point where I've had a close call with a wall or rolling so I don't really worry about it. If you have a supercar or something very expensive, that's another story

Yep, I daily'd it in the summer only. Aw, awesome man! Tell me when you're out as I instruct at Waterford every once and a while. I, too, have never gotten track insurance. It's a calculated risk for sure, but since I've probably done like 80-100 track days I've probably saved enough to buy a car or two with the money left over. Generally I find HPDE insurance to be around 250-300 per day.

Has anyone forged the internals on these ns yet?

Couple people, but there's not too much point. The engines are stout even with a larger turbo and meth. Once people figure out the fueling, then it'll start to make a bit more sense.
