I’m currently touring Romania right now. Cluj Napoca and Brasov were magical. Passed through Bucharest a few times this trip and can honestly say it’s one of the scariest places to ride, soo many inpatient drivers. I kinda regret starting here because everywhere else I’ve passed through has been superb. They have a bit of everything road wise here.
Schengen ends in Hungary and getting into Romania is easier then leaving it, hehe. I've been there last year and likely going back this year as well. Beautiful country and people.
Ohh man you came to my town... it feels like you broke the 4th wall :). Hope you had a great time over here and better weather than what I saw in the first vid. Can't wait to see the rest :)
Greetings as a Romanian citizen and wish you a lovely trip though the country, I suggest you guys if you have the opportunity to ride the motorcycles around the "Lepșa" or "Transfăgărășan" Cheers Folks wish you all the best 🍻
Another good watch Bruce. Shame the weather wasn't with you. Carol and I do find it inspiring to see you guys heading for more unusual places and exploring. Joy and Martin could have stuck to their successful Canary Islands tours but choose to keep trying new things. We admire you're sense of adventure, I could tack on your catch phrase, but it is what you're doing.
Hi Bruce I am glad you stopped in my beautiful home city of Cluj Napoca (known as Klausenburg). I really appreciate your channel and I fallow it a few years ago.
Teapot you saved the day was gonna head off to Greece live in Germany and didn't realise I needed that Vignette and only by chance being a subscriber you alerted me! So Austria Hungary and Bulgaria all done! Should be on Kavala Greece Monday so if you close beers on me!
Do you need a vignette on all roads or just for highways. Austria and Czech republic and Switzerland from memory are major highway only. Happy to be corrected on that
@@cyclingsfatsuma9808 currently holidaying with the car and my wife! Need I say panniers not enough storage! Lol guys I'm an eastender living in Germany anytime you tour Frankfurt or anywhere let me know can join you guys!
My two favourite touring video peeps, are your good self and Pavlin from the "Motorcycle Adventure" youtube channel. You should look him up next time you are down in the Romania/Bulgaria area, it would be great to see you two touring together!
Hmm, I'm going to reserve judgement until the end of the trip. Having said that, so far you've made interesting vlogs out of not very interesting material. That's not easy! 👍👍👍
5:10 Beware this folks, (when visiting Romania) the locals stop at RR crossings (with visible RR, and traffic stop signs posted). I wonder what you would say if you were in Switzerland. Prime example of entitlement. Oh, dang, you mentioned it again at 10:28. It is the disdain chuckle that gets me. I did like the sincere caution on dogs and cattle on the road.
Well I bought a GS after riding triumph motorcycles for years . I’m converted 👍what a beast and so brilliant to ride . Loved your video 👍you do need to get commission from bmw 😆😆
@@teapotone I was in Ireland 4 weeks ago for 10 days, rain for 9 of them! One of the days going to Keem beach we rode in probably the worst conditions I've ever been out in on a bike. In July!!!

Morning Mr Teapot! We met briefly at ABR, I’m sure you remember us!! We’re heading off in two weeks to northern Spain, Pyrenees and Dordogne. Quick question about how do you switch your GoPros on at same time? Do you use the on/off and record buttons or a remote? I have the remote but it is sooooo unreliable and frustrating
Hello bud, how’s it going! I have both GoPro’s set at one touch record and I just push the record button on each one, give it a few seconds, then I sync up by spamming my visor shut - you sync of the audio peak on the helmet vid and by visually looking at the cockpit cam footage to see when the visor shuts.
Can I ask you about the cards edge mesh , if you get split up and come back into the group 15 mins later does it auto remember and re connect, I’m about to buy the edge and bin my Sena
Hi Bruce my good man. That must be a post Brexit it thing as we just sailed through the border into Hungry and then onto Romania. In 2010 but that is 12 years ago 😜🤦🏻 the wild Dogs can be a bit tricky as they can just wander into the road and a lorry will not stop for them catapulting then into your path, first hand experience and lucky escape. Keep her lit 🔥
I hit a tar snake on my cbr 1100 blackbird going 90mph…. Sharp curve and went right off the road 😂 bike was shite but we had her back up and rebuilt in 2 days. 😆
The comments about "vignette" had me scratching my head, but what do you know, there is a whole Wikipedia page about it under the title "Vignette (road tax)".
Get a bigger bike and restrict it Wouldn't bother with a 300cc unless you're not a very confident rider. Versys 650 or something similar would be better in my opinion.
Morning Mate i think someone is trying to scam me in your name they asked me to DM you to claim a prize did you message me,ate if not sorry to bother you

Bucharest is a bitch to ride in but not so the rest of the country.

No, but I use it in all weathers - only issue I’ve had is the GoPro lens sometimes develops condensation
