Oh and one more thing... This is the best from Beyond Magnetic! And much better than most of Death Magnetic... (But great album too... I'm really glad to listen to these songs after St. Anger and Lulu...)
Metallica se esta poniendo mejor, más heavy, y cada vez me encantan más esos hombres, sobretodo James lo amo hasta siempre!! al carajo con todos los que dicen que son del año de la pera y que no dan para mas
Vishal Sheth that’s why I play all of Metallica’s new stuff with the original tone with gain at 8-10 and treble at 6-10 or just a master of puppets/ajfa tone.
how this song and bullet away and babylon didn't end up in the death magnetic album . there are so much better than some songs in the death magnetic album
I prefer this and "Rebel of Babylon" to "BB&S". Unforgiven 3 is a good song, but doesn't belong in the Unforgiven trilogy, IMO. I'd take RoB over that.
So what are the eight songs debuted? I know there's Hate train Just a bullet away Hell and back Rebel of Babylon To live is to die Carpe diem baby What are the other two?
@@coconutmango4422 they are pretty close, but it feels* harder to downpick this riff that the Creeping Death one (pre-chorus). They even can’t keep up with the phase of it in this performance (the studio version is a little faster)
I wish this could've been on an actual album (yes I know it's on Beyond Magnetic) but maybe even Hardwired or if they would've actually made the 2012 album like they said they would, it could've been on there.
I wonder why James chooses to change his guitar setting himself...from distortion to clean. It seems to distract him from singing the most melodic part of the song. Cant the people backstage do that for him or something? There must be a way
So... this is what ive noticed. From 8:25, James is struggling with the vocals of the final chorus.. 8:33 his voice starts to strain... but perseveres... 8:45 james looks to the right, (possibly at his sound engineer) and doesnt sing the last "You took away tomorrow, still i stand" line 8:49 when he returns to singing, his voice seems autotuned and pitch corrected... Not hating on James Hetfield, just attention to detail while listening. James is a guitar god and My guitar hero, keep rocking on 🤘
This song doesn't have a mistake... Maybe... the vocals are too hard for James to sing live perfectly... But studio version is purely awesome.
Especially here where his voice wasn't at it's best
One word to describe this song, Underrated
DAMN I love that intro why can't the whole song be as brutal as that FREAKING AWESOME INTRO
It is wtf r u talking about bruh
I totally understand you man. It slows down after the solo. And the chorus is very disappointing imho after that brutal start
Because reverse power chords don't always work in a riff.
i guess thats why it never ended up on the album
I love how was honest to the crowd saying you've never heard this before. You don't know it lmao.

the bass is nice and loud in this version
Is it just me or is hate Train's riff is similar to fuel?...
Abhigyan Tripathi yes half step down!
And the same thing with dream
No more and sad but true ( full step down) .
And Rise Atlas, Rise, that one too. Still, it has a good "family" of sound.
So does Judas Kiss's main riff.
It's the pull-offs from third fret to open.
This song is amazing!!! The entire death magnetic EP is sooooooooooo friggin good!🤘🏻🤘🏻
This song is awesome. Great audio too. Thanks for the upload
I think the best of the four new songs!
This is my fav one from beyond magnetic!♥♥♥
sounds like good old metallica! good song!
8:08 love the voice crack
Nah it's just an attempted falsetto
falsetto
Metallica se esta poniendo mejor, más heavy, y cada vez me encantan más esos hombres, sobretodo James lo amo hasta siempre!! al carajo con todos los que dicen que son del año de la pera y que no dan para mas
These four Shows shouldve be the next fan can
I cannot wait to hear their new songs because I will always hear a riff that is absolutely crushing.
6:40〜
Crazy down picking!!
Studio version is so much better. Granted, this song is so difficult to play live.
The beginning is actually spot on!
Edit: the rest is really good too, i think both versions are great
Thanks for loading this up!
i dont understand the hate train people have for this song, i think it sounds great
best song from beyond magnetic
absolutely YES! you are right
Turn up the gain and treble for god's sake!!
If dm was recorded with a mop kinda of tone, it would have sounded 10x better.
u right absolutely
Vishal Sheth that’s why I play all of Metallica’s new stuff with the original tone with gain at 8-10 and treble at 6-10 or just a master of puppets/ajfa tone.
nuh uh the gain is fine, less gain = more presence and clarity

Why don't they put songs like this on their albums? This song is as good or better than anything on their last two albums.
if you listen to it like a lot you will notice its a bit repetitive and like a bit boring
@@yanpoo7496well that’s just 72 seasons in a nutshell
@@YeaMits that is true !
An ultimate L opinion
Till now there's no DVD, but on their webpage their's videos from the shows..

Kirk you are the best! Only the best!
Hard to watch with a giant water mark in the middle of the screen.
Why did you decide to put your watermark right in the middle of the screen
So what are the eight songs debuted? I know there's
Hate train
Just a bullet away
Hell and back
Rebel of Babylon
To live is to die
Carpe diem baby
What are the other two?
They "only" played seven firsts throughout that week.
You were missing It's electric w/ Brian Tatler and Sean Harris from Diamond Head.
FotherMucker00 that's the one I was trying to think of!!! I didn't mean to put eight lol I meant seven
He's changing pickups from neck to bridge. His tech changes to distortion off stage.
I feel in part with clean parts like Jame's guitar is untuned...
I like this song to much...but it's really sad to see how much metallica had changed :(....But it's great!!! I love Beyond Magnethic :D
6:40 fastest downpicking riff from Metallica? Not sure if there’s a faster one.
Creeping Death is probably the fastest
@@coconutmango4422 they are pretty close, but it feels* harder to downpick this riff that the Creeping Death one (pre-chorus). They even can’t keep up with the phase of it in this performance (the studio version is a little faster)
i think so yeah, very hard to downpick for me. and does the Rebel of Babylon main riff have the fastest alternate picking?
@@Jeb4100 not sure but it is definitely faster than many others. Fight Fire With Fire might be slightly faster.

I hate Train too!
Roberto went nana
They should play this more often
Yes,you are right bro! I want to write about this.
i'll be pissed if there will be no DVD of this :)
sound like "Fuel"
+Арсений Рябов I heard the same
Арсений Рябов same notes of the main riff
Just the chorus, then the rest is thrash, and good thrash
Pinche cancion vergas junto con todo el Beyond Magnetic
7:13 That Riff right there! \m/
I wonder why James chooses to change his guitar setting himself...from distortion to clean. It seems to distract him from singing the most melodic part of the song. Cant the people backstage do that for him or something? There must be a way
He doesn't, he obviously changes the pickup switch position, but the switching is done at the back (8 years old comment i know)
Hey Conner!
Well, that comment was mainly aimed toward the vocal aspect of this song. To me it just sounds like it's wearing on James' voice...my opinion though.
ROBERT U R MY HERO.

1:07 What was the guy in the crowd saying?
Oh never mind he said "Shine" which is Just A Bullet Away.
the camera don't take robert....WHY? XD XD XD
