I recall playing the Bosporus DLC and some puppet interaction breaking my hours-long Iron Man game. I even recall playing the Chinese DLC and some puppet interaction breaking my hours-long Iron Man game, and now I see it again. I don't get why they don't fix these basic bugs that tend to destroy the hours you need to spend in Iron Man games.
I haven't played the game for such a long time because of it. Nowadays, I either think about playing the game, and I remember those things happening and deciding against doing it, or I end up giving it another shot, spending hours on a game, just for something like that to happen again, and I rage-quit just to not play the game for a long time. Having a hard check for being able to execute certain being independent should be such an easy fix ...... even eu4 (which is the same engine) has something like this for vassal countries!

I played the DLC as soon as it came out and so many of the bonuses, like Argentina's conquistadors' spirit, were overly OP. They nerfed basically every single national spirit in the game a week after it was released.
