Fyi in the start of the game you lost your northernmost province, because ibañez sold it to peru. If you speedrun the civil war focus, you might be able to start the civil war before he does so.
Its more beneficial to get the buffs then it is to keep a state with no factories
@@Tommyleah1 in this case i have to agree, the population of this state is barely enough for jusr one additional division, which won't make much of a difference when you attack argentina.

[33:10] For that whole "the order doesn't work right thing", Have you tried pressing 'tab' while you are still drawing the offense line? That should cycle the starting point between the various splits. In this case, going from the end of the already existing offense line to the actual front you want it to start from. It's been a while since I last played HOI myself, but I have no reason to think they would have changed something like that.
(Then again, this is paradox, and they work in mysterious ways.)

bro ive been trying to do these achievements for like 20 runs now and sometimes i cant even get argentina. why do they have their entire border open for you? i call bs
The game was ironman. I did not cheat. Its all about timing. If you attack too late Argentina is gonna have way more divisions. You also need to not attack way to early as for you army to not be very weak.
@@kristibbs-lg9gy not saying youre cheating, just frustrated lol. ive gotten so good at the civil war i ifinish in like may 37. i try to attack argentina once i clear weapon deficit, yet they somehow always fuck me. i have few runs where i succed only to later fail at stuff like peru or the allies join my war including US.
