Saw this one live! If y'all haven't checked out one of Fangy Boi's livestreams, do it. It gets WILDIN' in there! :P
The devil works hard, but Drac works harder when it comes to dart blasters. Kudos.
The door is only needed because it stops the guide under spring tension. This could be solved in one of several ways:
1. Glue the door in a permanent open
2. Place a pin that the guide can rest on. It doesn’t need to be wide to hamper ammo movement, just long enough to do the job. Finding where it rests and placing the pin further in to where the guide is attached is possible. Just gotta find the sweet spot.
3. Like other people in the comments have said, cut the door.
4. This one is crazy, but possible. Get a different spring for the guide that won’t make the guide fall out of the slot when removed.
These are just off the top of my head. But it is doable.
Door sliding open also seems to be responsible for pushing the magazine follower clear of the loading ramp. Note how when mag is empty the follower pushes all the way up to the barrel and is blocking the opening. Door removal will mean you need to design a new system to reset the follower when loading from empty.
Probably not worth the trouble.
The door doesn't hold the white trap door thing in-place, there's a spot in the shell that does that, the door actually pulls the follower back in the internal mag so that it can be loaded. So in the end, still necessary.
The door for loading can be taken out because the white ball-flip-director-thing(whatever it is) latches into the top frame piece. This can only be seen when it’s put together. It’s designed to move past so it can be used to unjam the gun if a ball was cocked it wrong.
Wow, really a step up compare to what we're used to in Dart Zone's blaster. Very good result with simple upgrade plus very neat system for the magazine, a little elaborate, but it seem to do the job. Can't wait to get my hands on this one
Old school videos what brought me to this channel in the first place. The newer format is entertaining, but it is nice to see mod guide in the old format.
So maybe 3D print a Gap door. like what you put on top of that one Kronos. I think it came in a mod kit
Side note, I just drilled a hole on the one on my Kronos. Saved me $12, lol.
The pump action rival blaster I've been searching for...
DartZone always had superior plunger designs. Honestly some awesome stuff!

Finally was able to pick one of these up. They had like 10 available on Walmart website sold out fast. Don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but the blaster can comfortably hold 11 and if you stuff it in can shoot 15 pretty reliably.
Drac, you probably won’t see this but you could glue the loading door to the priming handle so when you prime the door comes back

The noise the dart/ball makes coming out of the barrel is it screaming as it goes into dracs forest knowing it’ll never be fired from a blaster ever again 😂😂
I kept the decocking system and safety in mine, but removed only the slide ratcheting mech, and that has worked extremely well...
What has helped immensely has been color loading. (N-N-N-N-N-N-N-Y-Y-O) for 10-Mag blasters, and (N-N-N-N-Y-O) for 6-Mag blasters.
Now I really can't wait for this to land in my local stores! Nice guide, great vid! Thanks!

Thanks for uploading this Drac. I wanted to view your Livestream a couple weeks ago but got tied up. Hope this can be modded much like the Roughcut to include a recon/Retaliator handle and stock attachment point.
You might be able to cut the door in half, so it's effectively always in the open position.
@Drac , you could put the safety lock back in and wire up a switch to an tac rail mounted flashlight , of course you may need to mount tac rails to the sides, that way it's a quick on off flashlight , that's my plan any way..
You've convinced me that this is the secondary for me in an event where rival counts for more points than normal darts. I wish this had a stock but of somebody can 3D print one as 2 half that go over the sling mount?

Okay so I stumbled across this video because I tore mine apart to repaint it for a cosplay I'm doing and accidentally knocked the parts out. And wow, I didn't realize that nerf was this huge. I'm a big paintball player and I have a lot of questions about this sport now lol. You guys seem to take this pretty seriously
Would there be any way you could cut that blue door? Maybe cut a hole into it?
Do you have to manually close the door, or will pushing the slide forward close it? If not, could you mod it to do so to reduce the 'problem' of leaving the door in?

With the door, you could just cut it smaller and keep the upper part. Unless the gun can pump then what I'd do is still cut it down, but then cut Bellow it to smoothen it out so you can pump forward

U can remove the the loading flap just jut it down and glue it to keep this white lever in
You can delete the door if you put somthing that stops that leaver close to its rotation point, you know what i mean?? Like limit its range going outwards
minimize the door, just keep enough of the door to keep that retainer door in place, but cut off enough to let balls in
Will putting in a K25 without removing the AR improve the Liberator's performance in a noticeable matter? I'd rather not remove the AR in this blaster, as it is really easy to lose count of the ammo left in it, and dry firing the last shot happens quite often.

Regarding the door, could you not use a dremel to remove the nub? It wouldn't delete the door but it might allow you to leave it in an always open state. I also might just be missing some mechanic of the door.

Welp, looks like I'll be scouring eBay Internationally for one of these, because Dart Zone doesn't appear to want to cross the ocean from Americaland.
Personally, i dont like calling a blaster a "shotgun" if it does not shoot at least two darts (etc) at once, regardless of its form factor. A rifle which only fires one bullet at a time is not a shotgun.
This blaster is kind of like 1/3 of an artemis. Looks cool though. And seems to be just a bit more powerful perhaps
I wish these would be available in the netherlands! This is the first "rival" blaster that peaks my interest.

It can. It can be done fairly easily stock. You'll hold the safety and trigger down and prime once, then release the trigger and prime again. Obviously the shot loses a lot of power, but it will fire doubles stock.

i need help. my gun jammed and i took it apart but the spring for the white lightning looking thing above the trigger. tell me if it is necessary.
it might be necessary because It could be for the trigger or what locks the plunger in place and if the spring is not there then the trigger could still work but it wouldn't work well but if it is for the plunger then it might not work properly without the spring
