I did the rival musket thing and the recent hvz allowed me to use my bayonet since I was essentially handicapping myself with the single shot musket and I proved it was safe. Well the humans didn't have a great run this game and 90% of the humans died on the very crucial mission which caused all the zombies to gain the additional power of having a single sock flail! So there was about 25 humans spread out over the campus vs roughly 200-250 zombies and I was one of the 25 because me and my team of five were doing a side mission no one else wanted to do. Well my team didn't know anything about what had happened at the time so we were very surprised when at last 95 to a 100 zombies were running at us with sock flails! In the moment are tank of the group, Jacks, with a lightning command and a 500 round chain told us to run as he started emptying rounds at them and as we are running he kills 30-35 of them before he was swarmed. At that moment we all realized we weren't going to make it out of that situation without fighting and the 4 of us turn and start firing. The first of us to go down was our runner/scout, Dawn with dual full auto strifes who tried to flank the group but got caught by getting to close not realising sock flails equals extra range. Next was are special zombie killer, Vance, because 12-20 socks, a demolisher/mega launcher, and a rival atlas were not mean to take on bigger groups. By that point it was just me and our close quarters guy Vs 45-50 zombies and we were back to back with all the zombies surrounding us. Our close quarters guy, James, had a great shield like the Roman sheild, the marauder nerf sword, and a hammershot with the 8 round cylinder. I had the rival musket with the bayonet, 15 Doublestrikes modded to shotgun holsted on my chest, and my authentic foam saber. 10 minutes go by, we're still fighting and all our guns are out of ammo. I was one handing my musket with my right hand and using my sword with my left ( I'm right handed but I learned from a left handed teacher). My friend had his sheild ripped from him somehow so he was just using the sword which he practices HEMA so no one could get close to him. There was a little less than 30 of them left so they were backing off but we understand why when 200- 230 zombies crest the hill running straight towards us! That's when we realized the humans lost the main objective and we could not win. So we let our our war cries and ran at the wall of zombies dying in glory. So in the end my rival musket is named Refusal for the fact it refused to let me die taking out 57 zombies during that game!
So dramatic. Refusal is a very apt name as well.
This needs to go on Reddit.
Do whatever you want with my hvz story just give me credit as Void
thats quite a story, nice war u got there
Kudos to you, my friend

Every time a fan build video like this, your generosity baffles me. How can one person be this inviting and willing to work with fans like this? I really wish more people in this community were like you, Cap.
That metal bar at the end makes me think of an attachment for a bayonet
Voidwalker hmmm interesting
that would be sick
Voidwalker put a regular nerf rail and put the nerf bayonnet on it
What I meant was it looks like a irl bayonet attachment bar on bolt actions and/or muskets
calvin bradshaw nerf channel why not just use a regular bayonet lol
You need to put a foam bayonet on where the metal is on the end
Good idea! The front of the barrel would also need to be modded but it might work.
6:18 top right corner, parts for the gun aren't the only things you got at Home Depot ; )
When I was 5 I called home depot humpy teepo...I was a very strange child...
Dude, that was really good of you to help that kid out! Seriously cool!

You need to put an old style Halo shotgun shell on this because of the toploading system
Maybe out of darts can engineer a 3d printed part to connect the tube mag to the internal mag? That way you almost create a shotgun mod kit for the kronos. That might be popular?
Or anyone, really. you'd need to just design something that clamshells over the two parts, and screws together. Bonus points if you make it look like the front section of the blaster they cut away.
I'm on it!
Hell yes, thank you!
See, this is why I love this community.
Paul Karyakos any luck with this piece?
@@PKTEK any luck?
Instead of using 1” couplings, you can use short sections of schedule 40 1 1/4” pipe. It’s cheaper because ABS (it’s also black which is cool) is sometimes sold by the foot for the same price per foot as couplings are individually. Remember that solid core is much stronger than cellular core and is always better.
captain x you help me smile when im sore tied and sad
thanks captain x
The double chambering remembers me to the Half Life shotgun, where the alternative shot shoots 2 shells at once. Nice job
I was thinking of something like this last night, what a coincidence that you build one of these
Once again you have amazed me and all of your fans
There is a significant video quality difference with the new phone. Amazing!
I like that it holds ammo like an actual shotgun
i never own a nerf, like to watch them though....
Huh?
Do you have one now?
@@anotherbobafett6238 these are luxury item in my country, the price way to high due to currency conversion

You could replace the mag with a 3d printed version where its joint with the cronos mag as one single mag that would remove the structure's weakness
You could indeed. Let me know when you finish designing it and send me the .stl.
Captain Xavier then I would need the existing components for dimensions or the balls won't fit and I don't have any of those blasters, and here In the Netherlands there aren't places that sell rival blasters.
At least not that I know of.
Your vids are boss caption! I love your mods and k26 vids and load outs. Yours truly waynedoesnerf my upcomming chanel from new york
* *In trembling voice* *:"t..this is TrUe PoWeR"
Thanks captain I needed a good video.
I literally had no idea how the balls were stored in the Kronos.
TAKE THAT SCHOOL, I ACTUALLY LEARNT SOMETHING TODAY
Screw them the Deadpool one looks awesome!!
I'm looking to start merging nerf guns and modding internals. Any good ones to start with?
How hard do you think it would be to modify a kronos to use a detachable rival clip? I like the idea of keeping the top-loading but also having the versatility of swapping clips out.
they are by far my favourite thing you have ever made
A great vid, but for the next time you do stuff like this, can you please reiterate (so we dont have to go back to previous videos) what size tube, joining parts and other various bits and pieces you use so that we can do this mod ourselves? Also, what modifications did you do to the magazine, aside from adding another length of spring? Thanks, and keep up the good vids.
All PVC parts are 1in
Much obliged good sir.
I'm going to use this idea and modify it a bit for short darts. No tube magazine but the pump design instead
I love the shotgun builds
Keep it up YOUR vids are awsome and i LOVE YOUR mods 😀😀
dude YOU are USING too much CAPS
That is really nice of you, helping a fan out with his build. But, I have a couple of questions. What are the tiny screws you used for this build, and what is the bolt on the front? Is it mostly smooth to allow the magazine to slide back and forth?
Also, Lightake or NFstrike have KO Rival mags, which would be great for this.
I used Nerf screws. The bolt is a long shafted hex bolt.

Nice meeting you.
You as well.
Get out of my shop.
I WANT ONE, I bought a Kronos for $16 a month ago and recently took out the slide lock and modded the handle with an M4 style bolt handle. I also put a stronger spring in it, I don't know what kind but it ain't k26 I know that for sure.
Those are really cool ideas and fun to use
i love this, not sure how i havent seen it before lol, my kinda mod xD
Love any kind of build videos. Keep up the good work
YESSSSSS! oof that autofocus tho. What screws did you mostly use for this?
You should try to make a modular turret or modular tripmine or something of that nature
Love your videos!
nice video man, i love your content!
Before I saw this I used a seven round mag and a twelve round spring but now that I’ve seen this I’m thinking of upgrading the capacity
the kronos handle reminds me a lot of a rebel gun
Alice called, she wants her outro back :P
You know what would be cool? Nerf Fatman. To bad the Think Geek nuke doesn't exist
Do you think it would be possible to make a pump grip crossfire? I am trying to make one and I was wondering if you had any ideas
The issue is going to be the multiple barrel system but I can think of a few ways that might work.
The rival Horus
What if Kronos shotgun, but you could take out the magazine and put in a fresh one almost like Out of Darts’s HIR mini as well as top loadable goodness
Glad to see your mods are going so well! The Deadpool shotgun's partner in crime looks fan-friggin'-tastic as per usual, other than some extra color, of course. My only thought is... Could you possibly make the Kronos with a vertical reload? I understand it's basically turning it into an Apollo or its better cousin, but could you...?
Yes
It would work without using a 7 round rival mag you could use a 12 round vortex mag or a 6 round vortex mag plus the original spring
You should try to make a stalk for the back
I would like to see The tactical magnum from Halo 3 ODST if you played Halo 3 ODST
Hey, you need a 3d printer BAD, man! 3D printing here would easily give you the tube support, the pump without having to rip up another blaster, etc. :)
I have two 3D printers. And I did not tear up anything for this. The parts came from the bin of parts.
@@CaptainXavier Nice! I'd have been really tempted to print an adapter or nose cap to side over the pipe barrel and be the nose cap and support the mag tube at the same time. Love watching your builds, man, keep up the good work!
So if I were to make a halo shot gun the Kronos might be my go to platform to make the thing
Have you looked into using a 3D pen to weld parts together in your MODs? seems like it would be a better solution than hot glue.
Y really love your mods
U should add a stock from a sling fire on to it
Cool how there are stripper clips for the kronos so loading is easy
when the kronos first came out I built 3d printed parts to make an 11 round internal mag pump action blaster it is like a super shorty or a tiny 3rnd shotgun and I am going to sell these kits on etsy and I would like to send you one
He’s been making saturns years before hasbro
Awesome mod!
Would it be possible to make some holes in the orange front piece of the blaster for the metal rails to pass through, and have them lock onto the slide from the inside?
Maybe?
Would require quite a bit of work, and might compromise the shell strength a bit, but I'd wager it's possible, if very complex and involved for not that much payoff.
Capt u are genius, salute to u sir :)
Captain Xavier could you try to make the ultimate sleeper a stryfe fit into a old yellow recon or something like that
A random Fox Magfed XBZ in a Deploy.
So out of curiosity what PVC dimensions did you use, where you going for full clearance with the ball?
He said somewhere else the pvc was 1inch
I want to take my nerf kronos, and modify it to have a stock, and since I use it mainly for target shooting, probably make it more of a bolt action. Maybe a longer barrel.
Any suggestions? Like where to find things that are cheeper, how to do certain things? Stuff to avoid?
Probably not the best place to ask, but I haven't seen any mods like what I want to do
Everything you need can be found at a hardware store. I used pvc for the barrel. I would use metal for the stock. Use screws, not glue.
what do you connect the metal strip to to connect it to the grip? is it screwed into it? the metal looks above the grip?
Yes, screws
thanks for the great vid
You got the extra hardware from FOAM Depot?
Why not cut the oringal internal mag Down a bit to get more surface to glue the new mag to
Then it would not line up correctly
Ok, love the idea of this but, question. How do you get the last 5 rounds to load in correctly? The 12 are pushed by the spring in the mag but, when you get to the original 5 slot, how are they pushed up? Please let me know, I am really curious about that.
wwoptimusprime the conjoined spring and slanted follower
I cover that...in this video...you could try, you know, actually watching the build video to learn how I built it...just a wild idea... ;P
Lol, figured I missed it, lol. ;P
Lol, yep, right at 2:40 or so. I'm an idiot. Teach me to skip around a video when I'm tired, lol.
No worries. Build videos do kinda drag on after a while. XD
What size of screw did you use for this build? Or any of your shotgun builds? Cus this seems like a really fun project
No idea. Ones from my screw bin that were the right length.
@@CaptainXavier could you possibly give a rough estimate on how big they are? I'm new to this stuff so I might be asking the impossible
@@feb4862 about 1/4 in? Deep enough to hold bit not so deep as to interfere with the internals.
I need to do this!!
Does the long barrel impact range or accuracy? Do you have a way to do this without the barrel?
No and no.
It would be cool if it had a stock. But it is awesome
I tried designing a stock but the design of the blaster hindered it. Besides, I wanted to be able to easily carry it in a back holster and a stock would stick out awkwardly.
hey, i had a sick, twisted question...
would it be possible to modify a Zeus to load/fire two HIRs at once like an Atlas? i have a DESPERATE need for a nerf auto-shotgun...
Yes
well, that... wasn't the answer i was expecting. i... i need that in my life now.
The easiest way (provided your have the tools, parts, and skills needed) would be to add a "pusher" like the one in TYR but program it to push two per trigger pull. While you were at it you might as well make it select fire. :P
fabulous
you need to include the link to the kronos piccatinny rail
Added. Thanks.
Hey idea could you do a straight mag no pump; more capacity no long barrel mag out the bottom
Sub-gunish
Probably.
Captain Xavier great channel love seeing you get the young nerfers into modding
Thanks for all you do for the hobby
It’s been done before
Hay cap ! You could use some more gain on the volume of your videos, if you're recording with your phone you should consider buying a good mic, you can get decent stuff for less than 100€ and you can hook it to reaper (or even audacity if you're lazy) to adjust the gain with more range and precision.
I have a mic, I was not able to use it with this phone. I need to get a new mic. Thanks for the feedback!
I have a Kronos and want to make a similar mod, but I want to add a stock. Any suggestions on how to do it without damaging it too much?
Idk if you’ve done it yet but hasbro got you covered now. The Saturn exists
Awesome a shownos
Nice
I still want one. In time I will have the skill.
I'm fairly early on this one too. Huh.
Noice shotguns m80
8:45 my supersuit
I wish I could have rival but NOPE not in Australia 😔
Hey Xavier you changed the time lapse music
I do that from time to time.
Cool
this was on my bros B-day
I'm not sure if you have done this and I'm sorry for being annoying if you have done it or have thought about it but is it possible to make a Kronos with a removable mag.
Yes, it is called the Nerf Finisher.
@@CaptainXavier oh that's cool
Um... How do you load a Kronos with picatinny rail all along the top?
...the same way you normally do...through the jam door.
Oh, I see the confusion. The rail is in two parts. One attached to the front of the blaster and the other attached to the back. When you pull back the slide the back half goes with it, exposing the jam door.
Captain Xavier Oh, I see! Quite clever and simple, really.
Thanks for replying: always make me so happy (simple things... )
removable mag
please
Am I the only one that’d like a stock on it as well? Only me? Ok. Fair enough.
Nope, not just you. I'd love a good folding stock on them.
I’m interested how exactly do you reload the magazine and will you be selling these
It loads just like it normally does.
Do you have a parts list? I'm making one of these and the only place you have a parts list is the Magnus shotgun, but this is a Kronos.
The parts are pretty much the same. The only difference is the L bracket and the lag bolt.
Cool, thanks. Also, where did you get the straightened pipe bracket?
Home Depot
Oh cool thanks. Awesome mod!
you film with your phone?
Nope, I just said that so people would not figure out me secret filming techniques...
question:can the slide be used as the pump grip?
Which slide? The one from the kronos?
@@CaptainXavier yes.
Probably. It would require cutting it more. And you would need some way to attach the priming bars to the internals. But besides that, yeah, should work.
Measurements of pvc parts? Thanks.
1 in
@@CaptainXavier is that inner diameter? What size are the larger pieces? Thx.
Yes. And "as long as necessary."
@@CaptainXavier I meant the pvc that is around the barrel, that the pump grip is attached to.
That is a coupler cut in half and filled out to slide freely.
Wow
Hey captan
