Love the videos and explanations. Would greatly appreciate a review of my first stadium style course with tournament objects and crowds. Whispering Pines.
Laughing at "still warm enough to play golf" 5°C here in Ireland today, hailstones and sleet and the local course was still busy 😂 Great videos, always enjoy them. I've had a go at a few if you fancy having a look. Forest Manor Resort Old Castle Golf Club Feedback would be valuable.
Congrats on the new subscribers! I finally published my latest course. It's called "The Van Buren -Buffalo,NY"... It could be a week day casuals course. It's not tour ready, but if you want to check it that would be cool.
Yes, good point! But what I am usually talking about is basic surfacing. Most bunkers are slightly concave. You can tell when a designer laid down a bunker spline or shape and didn't sculpt it at all. OR they overdid it and created a big "bath-tub" like bunker. You want something in between but to your point it doesn't have to be perfectly smooth.
@@roromc182 Yep you certainly don't want to do that, check out my Links Bunkers video for more details. But you don't want them to be more than 3 to 4 high in general (unless you are doing something unusual or very elevated green).

I'll check it out!
Van Buren will be on Is It Casuals Worthy next week!
You often go on about smoothing bunkers. 99% of bunkers i play in real life are full of lumps and bumps and are uneven 😂

@GForce41 ah thats a valid point. I have struggled with bunkers. I think i try and make them "challenging"
