Do you realize what an absolute pleasure it is to listen to a channel host who doesn't mumble "'Sup guys" or talks like a game show host. Liked and subscribed, Mish -- you're like water in the desert.
The build I run is kindred, really useful in solo queue since everyone can see each other and you'll know if someone is going for the pick up plus if the killer is chasing someone else, you'll see that person and you'll know the killer's position. Next I like deja vu, you'll never wonder where gens are, next I like windows of opportunity for connecting loops better and the last spot is for an exhaustion perk. I either go balanced or deadhard
@@ProbablyMish I don't know why so many people hate on it. I personally love it because it gives you an advantage in a situation which is usually at your disadvantage. Instead of falling down and slowing down due to the staggering, you have the chance of escaping a dead zone area and sprinting towards a place with more resources.
@@Rylitos you're not always getting vaalue out of it since you're forced to use it on the first vault. Balanced allows you to connect loops and make dead zones useful. It's just another advantage. There is a decent amount of elevation in the game
My personal build is sprint burst, vigil, windows and a flex spot usually used for bond or deja vu Sprint burst because it's the best exhaustion perk in the game if you know how to use it. Very helpful for greeding gens or making distance on killers that pop out of nowhere Windows because i mainly play solo and need to know what pallets have or haven't been used Vigil because i main quentin. But really it's to get exhaustion back faster if needed. It also counteracts most status effects that are on a timer, like exposed from perks such as haunted grounds, blindness and exhaustion from fearmonger and a few other things like hindered from clown bottles, it's a goated perk Bond for the same reasons you gave Deja vu for breaking 3 gens, a lot of solo survivors are blockheaded and will do safe gens first, breaking 3 gens reduces the amount the team gets punished for that
I agree with sprint burst! Sprint can honestly be used as a balanced landing, lithe, overcome, etc. It's such a great perk once you know how to use it and control your exhaustion by 99ing it.
@@Rylitos usually only new players use sprint burst that way. you dont need to walk around the map to use it when you are more experienced and learn how to use it.
My personal build is troubleshooter, eyes of belmont, windows and bond. In my opinion troubleshooter is a severely underrated perk especially when running it with eyes of belmont. Any aura on the killer is good especially when duoing these perks together as it gives you 8 seconds of aura reading every time a pallet is dropped as well as tell you where the most progressed gen is so you know what area to avoid. Also, running these with windows is good as you can see where pallets are that are not near any objectives or teammates. Finally, bond is extremely good as you can see where your teammates are. This is good as you can see areas where teammates are so you know where to avoid and with the help of windows you can safely get to those areas. Also, you can see times where you need to take bodyblock hits, downs or take the chase entirely. This can happen when your teammate is death hook and youre not or when you just need to take a bodyblock hit, usually at the end of a trial.
8:33 so true. I used to think I’m a good looper with the windows perk but in actuality I was just wasting pallets and without the perk I was just ass but I kept practicing without it and I got so much better now
I’m running windows on everything because without it i just have no idea where the pallets are and i think it’s a problem😭. I’m still a new player, so i don’t know all of the pallet locations yet, but man does it feels better to play with windows
@@coolalicorn7486 don’t worry once you get used to the layout of the maps you would not need to resort to windows but yeah it’ll take time so just keep practicing for now

I noticed Poised isn't in the video. Where would you put it? I would say it could technically be put in the chase build due to if survivors finish a gen while you're in chase. I like gen and healing most but still like knowing where things are if I need to loop so rn I use Lithe, windows, Deja vu, and then random perk. Lately it’s been bond but I am thinking maybe botany instead. Reassurance is nice too
Best overall build here it is : windows this not only shows you where pallets and windows are it also lets you see when pallets are dropped and where so it helps you keep track of the killer AND teammates. Deja vu you can ALWAYS identify the 3 gen AND it gives you passive gen speed on those gens Kindred while teammates are on hook you see EVERYTHING going on in the match especially when a teammate is being chased and while youre on hook teammates get the same info The last is your choice of exauhstion perk the one you use the best or like the best This build fits all playstyles and if you want to be more of a healer just bring a good medkit
I would argue that Fast Track is an incredible swf perk. It can promote passive gameplay in a solo or duo, but is great when you’re on your final gen and letting the tokens stack so you can hit one giant great skill check and get done with it sooner.
my build atm is prove thy, adrenaline, lithe, and windows! however, i always switch it up every once in a while just to make sure i odnt rely on those perks in game
@@ProbablyMish i usually am able to quickly find my team so i do prefer prove thy over deja vu! Deja vu is very helpful and i do run it every once in a while, prove thy is definitely meant for Swfs but i still run it most of the time even when i’m solo

BONUS: Lucky Star hides pools of blood and grunts of pain for an additional 30 seconds AFTER you leave the locker. Good silly way to play the game, especially if you wanna play stealthy. PS: Quick and Quiet works with locker exits as well. No need to slowly exit when you have Quick and Quiet activated. Just rush exit it.
2k hours, sprint burst decisive strike resurgence last perk is up to you, been experimenting with blood rush and having heaps of fun with that, usually take either windows in solo q or wglf in swfs
theres so much slugging, "exposed," and "dont bother healing" perks and tactics being used so much that no mither is no longer just a training/meme perk, that shit has become very useful; niche, but still very useful.
My solo queue loadout is self care, botany, off the record, and kindred. Kindred so the randoms can coordinate better. Off the record for anti tunnel. Self care because I never get healed in solo queue. Botany because it can be used as bootleg we'll make it but also applies self care and is always active.
New Poised is pretty good in my opinion. The free intel on the killer is extremely helpful in solo queue and leaving a gen with no trace pairs quite well with sprint burst. Lets you get away with finishing gens in the killers face. It also lasts long enough where you can time unhooks to your team mates' gen pops.
my build is bond/open handed/kindred/_____ (currently reassurance) i’m usually at least duoqueuing but the info i and my team get on this is actually silly, if i get hooked in the middle of rpd my team literally get wall hacks on the killer unless they go to the very edge of the map, open handed is so useful since i much prefer to chill on gens and everyone adores running windows so they literally can see so much more with it
Bruh this stuff never works in solo q for me. My teammates are SO OBLIVIOUS. Today I had P60 teammates hiding near hooks and insta unhooking for no reason.
You are adorable!!! & I believe you 💯. But there are so many that run Bond to do the opposite. To drop the killer off when they are injured, even on teammates working gens... I totally agree about picking perks for your play style. Remember people, she said Play Style, not Toxic Play Style.
Ur video is soo fucking helpful cuz it made me rethink about my perk builds and such because ive never really put much thought into my build and just slap on what looks good and pray it works well But Honestly Imo my playstyle is more all rounder so i can feel like i have at least SOMETHING when it comes to these categories My build is Lithe, Adrenaline/OTR, botany knowledge, and Deja vu/prove thy self
Great video but i have one question: You put the feng perk that allows the player to see the aura of the killer for 5 seconds when it breaks a pallet into the "Good" tier, and that's ok But why put the Gabriel Soma perk that allows you to see the killer aura when you DROP a pallet (avoiding the condition of the killer breaking it) for the same amount of time while ALSO showing you the most progressed gen (could work as a mini bond so that you dont bring the killer to a nearly completed gen) as soon as the chase ends, in the BAD tier? Also, in the last category of the worst perks, i don't think the reworked corrective action needs to be there, having noone miss a skillcheck globally is awesome
unfortunately, Troubleshooter encourages players to drop pallets for no reason. this is similar to how Cut Loose causes players to vault one pallet like crazy, and then get entity blocker. Troubleshooter might also encourage players to run to the gen with the most progression immediately after getting out of chase - which might leave a harmful trail of scratch marks to other players and objectives.
Hi !! Thx for the video and the work behind it ! Short and sweet ^^ But I had one question idk who can answer but why is expert in the ''BAD'' section for chase perks ? You mentioned that the perk called Alert (Feng Min) was good because it reveals the killer aura for breaking a pallet BUT expert is so nice too you see the killer aura after dropping a pallet AND you see the gen with the most progression... Which is pretty good if you lose a chase so you can work on that gen for example
I run off the record, sprintboost, dejavu and We will make it. I can make gens fast and heal survivors fast. I can make sure to not get tunneld and Sprintboost is just good overall.
I love when gens are done fast so i have gen build i use hyperfocus, stakeout, bardic insparition, deja vu and it lets me do gens in 45seconds without toolbox
My favourite build is the unhookable build consisting of no mither/boil over/flip flop/soul guard and pairing it with a map like hawkins or badham IV. Damned if they slug you, damned if they dont. provides a lot of salt in postgame chat with added benefit of wasting killer’s time as much as a legitimate chase if you play your cards right 😂
I feel like mines a bit odd since i run two exhaustion perks but my current go to build is windows of oppurtunity, resilience, lithe, and dramaturgy I'm still learning loops and window spawns and windows rlly helps out w that I use dramaturgy to make distance usually and maybe get an item out of it but I pair it with lithe since I'm solo q only and ik I usually wont be able to find someone to heal me, so it gives me access to an exhaustion perk I don't rlly have to think abt and ofc resilience for chases, healing, gens etc its overall pretty good for me and I usually get value from all of them in a match :3
I was waiting to lambast if Bond wasn't in the build -- a build cannot be the best build without Bond, for Bond is the best overall survivor perk Lately, I've been running *Bond - Empathic Connection - Solidarity - Corrective Action* or Deja Vu or Botany or Reassurance, that 4th slot gets swapped in and out *Bond* for Bond. *Empathic* for the heal speed and info for other survivors, because info is always good, what you can do with it is another matter but having info is always good, it's even lead survivors to the gate several times, then I'll run out to take a hit when they show up with Bond (Bond > Empathy for consistency). *Solidarity* to heal 170% health state with +30% speed from Empathic, it gets the team back up in action quick. *Corrective Action* has been absolutely GOATED for the *Step Off Tax* -- the skill check that procs when you step off a gen; tokens are fluctuating through the whole match, it's amazing. It saves 10% each time, and they add up quick; 10 uses? Not uncommon, and that saved a whole gen, or healing, whatever was needed, especially against Doctor. Corrective Action is so good right now
Gen builds are the strongest builds in the game for survivors, ask any pro killer and they hate going against a 4 man swf with gen builds. But imo if you are always a good looper, chase builds will of course enhance it but it becomes obsolete to really make a chase build. I like chase builds for fun, but when my team really wanna go to work we all just run gen builds with maybe one exhaustion perk. But most of us are good in chase without having chase perks so we focus on objective or healing builds. Because time is everything in this game
And if i want to unhook my teammates? So a healing unhook build? Also why is bond better than empathy? Its not better as a healer seeing everyone everywhere if they’re injured?
Were any of the perks mentioned perks that come from Auric Cell only survivors? Just asking so people that don't buy aurics and don't have the perks from shrine of secrets can know to substitute those perks in their choices :D
To add to my reply, My reply is purely so new players don't actually go full bot and run this meme and get themselves killed as many newer players or even veteran players are useless anyway and can't even run for more than 15 seconds lmao
i just harassed an unknown (and not me) by running to them with a flash light, guess they had ptsd since they kept running away looking behind every now and again, teleported across the map from me even... i had no charges in it

Lets you get away with finishing gens in the killers face. It also lasts long enough where you can time unhooks to your team mates' gen pops.
A fellow item goblin! I unfortunately rarely get to collect anything anymore since many of my games killers are running Weaving Franklin's lol
my build is bond/open handed/kindred/_____ (currently reassurance) i’m usually at least duoqueuing but the info i and my team get on this is actually silly, if i get hooked in the middle of rpd my team literally get wall hacks on the killer unless they go to the very edge of the map, open handed is so useful since i much prefer to chill on gens and everyone adores running windows so they literally can see so much more with it
Bruh this stuff never works in solo q for me.
Ur video is soo fucking helpful cuz it made me rethink about my perk builds and such because ive never really put much thought into my build and just slap on what looks good and pray it works well
But Honestly Imo my playstyle is more all rounder so i can feel like i have at least SOMETHING when it comes to these categories
My build is Lithe, Adrenaline/OTR, botany knowledge, and Deja vu/prove thy self
Great video but i have one question:
You put the feng perk that allows the player to see the aura of the killer for 5 seconds when it breaks a pallet into the "Good" tier, and that's ok
But why put the Gabriel Soma perk that allows you to see the killer aura when you DROP a pallet (avoiding the condition of the killer breaking it) for the same amount of time while ALSO showing you the most progressed gen (could work as a mini bond so that you dont bring the killer to a nearly completed gen) as soon as the chase ends, in the BAD tier?
Also, in the last category of the worst perks, i don't think the reworked corrective action needs to be there, having noone miss a skillcheck globally is awesome
this is such a well made video but i wish you explained what made a perk a lower teir even if it was just you mentioning its too situational
You know what else reassurance is good for? Keeping those bad survivers alive when they first hook and send themself to the entity.
My build is the “little bit of everything” build. Unbreakable or adrenaline, Deja vu, we’ll make it, and windows.
5:54 troubleshooter is NOT bad.
unfortunately, Troubleshooter encourages players to drop pallets for no reason. this is similar to how Cut Loose causes players to vault one pallet like crazy, and then get entity blocker. Troubleshooter might also encourage players to run to the gen with the most progression immediately after getting out of chase - which might leave a harmful trail of scratch marks to other players and objectives.
Also light weight, I’ve lost 70% of killers with that perk. Whether making them think Im still running even thought i walked away.
@@taszboi if you use it right it's good ofc? You just listed examples of how not to use it like that makes it bad
It’s so hard to even consider not using DS as one of my perks at this point 😭
I run off the record, sprintboost, dejavu and We will make it.
I can make gens fast and heal survivors fast. I can make sure to not get tunneld and Sprintboost is just good overall.
I love when gens are done fast so i have gen build i use hyperfocus, stakeout, bardic insparition, deja vu and it lets me do gens in 45seconds without toolbox
The build I run is tenacity, unbreakable, soul guard, and adrenaline, mostly because I get chased for most of the game and I get slugged a lot
I swear windows is like a drug I can't play without it 😭
Best solo build id suggest is lithe or DH, bond, DS or OTR and windows. 👍🏽
My go to perks are Bond, Windows of Opportunity, Deja Vu & Lithe.😬
LETS GOOOO A MISH VIDEO
Mish I love your tutorial videos even when I have 1k+ h
7:10 lol. You didn't need to put 150% on the bottom. you actually called it. They made we'll make it 100% now instead of 150%. You're a prophet now
My favourite build is the unhookable build consisting of no mither/boil over/flip flop/soul guard and pairing it with a map like hawkins or badham IV. Damned if they slug you, damned if they dont.
provides a lot of salt in postgame chat with added benefit of wasting killer’s time as much as a legitimate chase if you play your cards right 😂
I feel like mines a bit odd since i run two exhaustion perks but my current go to build is windows of oppurtunity, resilience, lithe, and dramaturgy
I'm still learning loops and window spawns and windows rlly helps out w that
I use dramaturgy to make distance usually and maybe get an item out of it but I pair it with lithe since I'm solo q only and ik I usually wont be able to find someone to heal me, so it gives me access to an exhaustion perk I don't rlly have to think abt
and ofc resilience for chases, healing, gens etc
its overall pretty good for me and I usually get value from all of them in a match :3
I was waiting to lambast if Bond wasn't in the build -- a build cannot be the best build without Bond, for Bond is the best overall survivor perk
Lately, I've been running *Bond - Empathic Connection - Solidarity - Corrective Action* or Deja Vu or Botany or Reassurance, that 4th slot gets swapped in and out
*Bond* for Bond. Corrective Action is so good right now
I know its bad but spine chill has saved me too many times from stealth killers for me to stop running it
chemtrap & blast mine are kinda nuts with the recent buffs
Gen builds are the strongest builds in the game for survivors, ask any pro killer and they hate going against a 4 man swf with gen builds.
But imo if you are always a good looper, chase builds will of course enhance it but it becomes obsolete to really make a chase build. I like chase builds for fun, but when my team really wanna go to work we all just run gen builds with maybe one exhaustion perk.
But most of us are good in chase without having chase perks so we focus on objective or healing builds. Because time is everything in this game
Do you use reshade? It looks like you do, what settings do you use to make your game look like that?
can i share some of my survivors perk to others? like kate's windows of opportunity
Thanks very much!
You consider lightfooted a saving perk? And here I thought it was a chase perk.
And if i want to unhook my teammates? So a healing unhook build? Also why is bond better than empathy? Its not better as a healer seeing everyone everywhere if they’re injured?
Is this good? Deja vu, resilience,
off record, kindred
The best teacher Mish ❤️💖
Scene partner underrated btw
Were any of the perks mentioned perks that come from Auric Cell only survivors? Just asking so people that don't buy aurics and don't have the perks from shrine of secrets can know to substitute those perks in their choices :D
To add to my reply, My reply is purely so new players don't actually go full bot and run this meme and get themselves killed as many newer players or even veteran players are useless anyway and can't even run for more than 15 seconds lmao
do I get the general altruism % bonus if I have the perk or only if I unhook/heal someone in end game?
i just harassed an unknown (and not me) by running to them with a flash light, guess they had ptsd since they kept running away looking behind every now and again, teleported across the map from me even...
i had no charges in it
W video Mish 🙌🏼
i dont think that chem trap is bad rn its just hard to use properly
