I hope that wherever they transition to will have a new setting & tone/feel, but I will also be nostalgic towards the New Zealand area. I still wish that someone in NZ would make a tour about Power Rangers locations in the area. I’d love to go and visit someday. I agree though, that the cost may outweigh the benefits of a new location, & we should definitely give a huge thank you to the New Zealand acting community for supporting the show as long as they have. I still have high hopes for whatever comes next, & I’m just hoping it turns out for the best. Hope you & your family are enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday time!

I know it is unfortunate to see some actors not want anything to do with the fandom. But honestly a lot of them probably don't realize that anyone cares. Power Rangers wasn't aired in New Zealand after season 1 of MMPR, and when you stay in NZ you don't see a lot of people who are excited for the show. He moved on and has probably never looked back.

There are a lot of interesting places in the US that would make perfect and unique film locations to set up street fight between the foot soldiers and the Power Rangers. Case in point, the Pacific Northwest, we’ve got two mountains in Oregon that could inject some identity in every fight in every single episode, we’ve got some other interesting landmarks and museums that could do the same. Recently, I’ve been to a place called OMSI twice and there’s a place within that museum called the turbine hall… Oh, the fight between the foot soldiers and the Power Rangers you could set in there.
Who knows, it will be interesting to see. I would love if it returned to America. I just know it is not a massive budget and would benefit being somewhere that gives incentives for filming there.
North America has a lot of nice places to film. The whole reason Disney went to New Zealand was to spend less money. The US costs too much to film on their budget.
Hey are you planning on doing another Purple Heart to Purple Heart? Recently rewatched the first one and it was so good. Definitely interested in a part 2.
Saban was non-union. So I can understand it being hard to get work without being in the union. I've always seen Power Rangers like soap-oprea. Mainly because of the turnaround of episodes, and how the show has launched some carriers.
It did eventually pick up union status but im not sure what it was considered when it went to New Zealand. Jason Faunt who played Wes in Time Force has stated that the show was union when he joined.
I'm looking at Dino thunder again and I realized something that I didn't think of as a kid and that's principal Randall was like a mature version of Divadox 😂.
The thing about commentary shows in the US... To put it politely, I have come to believe the interviewers can be hit or miss jerks to whoever they bring on the show. They'll talk about one subject the person's known for until they, the interviewer, get tired of asking a million of the same questions.
I dont think that is specific to the US for example every interview of Jason Smith (Casey/Jungle Fury) starts with them asking him if he is still friends with Chris Hemsworth because they were in a soup opera together. And those are all Australian shows. I think it just comes down to lazy interviewers and no research. Shows like "Hot Ones" took the approach of lets find something this person is passionate about but never gets asked. It takes more time but it's worth it. Gives the audience a better time too. To see a celebrity seem happy to answer a new question

It’s actually a really great move for Power Rangers could do buddy. That means wherever they filmed it they would have a bunch of new and different locations and actors and actresses.
Different locations is cool, but I mostly see dollar signs. I costs more money to go to different locations or travel or change production sights every so often. I know this video is almost a year old but it always kind of bugged me that the show couldn't stay in North America. I wish the show had moved to Vancouver, Canada. At the very least the show would have stayed Union and it could have been easy for former actors to appear on certain seasons.

Real reason the pulled is save money its same reason when lord of rings left
Lord of the Rings was told they can not film in New Zealand. That was entirely the Prime Minister's decision.
