I wish they would spend less time filming interviews and show more racing footage. Not that I don't want to hear from the racers, I just want to watch the action while I am listening to them.
He wasn't narrating on the guys in the shot. It was a reference to him saying "Drive to Survive" which is the popular F1 show that now sort of owns that saying.
@@jaredstraub1569 i mean Drive to Survive is shit if u are the fan, and it makes only dramas and some made up stuff. But i guess it enough info for new fans
@@jaredstraub1569 Drive to survive show is complete and utter bollocks. It isn't a true representation of F1 by a long shot. I compare it to those 'reality' shows you can watch when drunk and then find those okay-ish. Did like the little dig at the end though 🙂
I find it amazing that the TV production house hasn’t picked up, that the Dakar is up there with the likes of the TDF, Indy 500 ect. Thank god for his “ royal highness” to give us a look at the Dakar.
Love the fact we have the same presenter as last year what a breath of fresh air to hear him once again for the coverage of Dakar! Love the highlights!
Wow that is unbelievable that they get the time spend helping someone compensated. I am in disbelieve that this sport is run by such intelligent individuals 🤯 Can't they send a couple of them to assist the FIA with Formula 1 maybe? It's quite a mess over there 😅
Esto es lo que necesitamos. Videos largos, bien narrados aunque solo sean en Ingles. Fijense en las vistas de cada video desde que comenzó el dakar 2024. Este es el único video con vistas decentes para un evento de esta magnitud
Really great job on editing! Love the transitions of vehicle sounds into the next scene and also the choice of music! Solid entertaining commentary as usual!
The Spirit of Dakar is probably the best feature to be included in a rally-raid type event. Crediting time back for helping out others is truly supportive of the spirit of the sport.
Another story from the pack: Simon Marčič #56 broek his rear suspension 40 km in. He then drove standing up, his rear wheel sliding on the exhaust and fender for 300 km before his bike finally gave up 60 km before the finish. His rescue resultet in 8 hours of penalty time, but he will continue racing.
finalmente um time brasileiro para torcer, com mais emoção o Dakar é incrível merece uma transmição mundial oficial em tv streaming ou qualquer baçaça que for, é tão emocionante quanto a F1!

Great report no question about it! This sort of report is as you say a lot of hard work and very time consuming especially as a solo reporter. Time management along with food & sleep is critical to keep going at the standard you have already set. Looking forward to the next report. Well done 👍🏻
I just paid for peacock to be able to watch it and it’s not working the stage 1 episode I’m confused on why I can watch it on RUclips but not through peacock
I wish Daka Channel is a little unfair on the coverage on trucks in 2024. We need atleast the leader board on trucks displayed too and not only showing the leading truck... otherwise thanks for the update on cars and bikes
maybe to spice things up a bit? like Klein there, choosing to go first, knowing that there would be no track to follow. surely he had a lot of fun with the roadbook.
Seeing trucks full send through the desert is what makes Dakar. It wouldn't be the same without the trucks. Please more footage.
I wish they would spend less time filming interviews and show more racing footage.

This man and his jokes, playin with fire with that last drive to survive hit 😂
This! 😂
Yeah survive to drive, not drive to survive 😂
Best announcer ever. Love this so much. Thanks for bringing a little bit of Dakar around the world.
9:20 NO WAY he did them dirty like that!!!

Dakar is about 1 billion television viewers, it's by far the most watched rally race in the world
Royal hughness? Wtf does a middle easteren monarchy havta do with it? Therri Sabine is rolling in his grave
I love the engineering in F1, but wow the Dakar highlights are so much more interesting than (modern) F1 lol

it's a relatively new thing in dakar, such a great rule though.
@@cliveramsbotty6077 I like rules that make sense. 👌
@@cliveramsbotty6077That rule is as old as time in Dakar. It’s compulsory to stop if you pass a crashed rider too.

Commentary kept the whole thing interesting.... Thank you....
Saudi Arabia is moving forward. The Dakar Rally is really fun and well organized
excellent commentary and footage, many thanks
I love this commentator. He is smooth and suave.I can listen to him a whole day.
With cable and satellite becoming too costly in the US, I appreciate these highlight productions on YT

Mason Klein is going to be a force this year and he's still young. He will be a dakar winner in the future
Forget those playboys 😅🤘👌🤙
Great narration finish quote, always thought that rallying, in all its forms, is the purest motorsport soul
5:54 his evil laugh echoing, nice job editors
Excellent Ross, wishing you can win this Dakar in memory of Kelvin!!!!!!
By far the best Dakar commentary and editing, everything else is average by comparison. Keep up the awesome work 😊
Mad Max vibes Dakar series. Alula is awesome!
Beyond this world scenery.
Amazing thanks guys for the coverage!!!🙏❤️
Really great job on editing! Love the transitions of vehicle sounds into the next scene and also the choice of music! Solid entertaining commentary as usual!
It's that time of year lads, welcome back!
Goczał family dominates their category... good job so far.
Let's GO USA's Mason Klein riding the Kove Bike! Young man with no fear RIPPIN the Dakar-again! Godspeed brother.
The GOAT of announcers is BACK ♥
Thank you!
Commentary worth a years wait. Better than the action in the desert.
Amasing coverage: humorous, informative, emotional. Thank you!
Great sportsmanship shown with the motorcyclists it is such a tough rally and good to see a Hilux doing so well all could change tomorrow
The Spirit of Dakar is probably the best feature to be included in a rally-raid type event. Crediting time back for helping out others is truly supportive of the spirit of the sport.
Let’s go señor Sainz! Big day after not having the best time yesterday
Excellent sportmans ship!!!! well done dakar for reflecting the help time in his overall time.
2:55 The Dakar spirit is alive!
I wish we had a live stream and longer highlights!!
Thanks!
The time credit given for the racer who stopped to help a fellow racer is heartfelt.

Best coverage 😀
Where are the trucks?
The cameras give such a realistic picture it gets the viewer’s adrenaline pumping just watching.
That dig at DTS😂 perfect
Crazy to see Hero motosports going head to head with the big boys of KTM and Honda 🔥
I want moooore footage 😍🤘
Include the other categories please. Amateurs, Classic, Electric... Love that ❤️
Trucks don’t get enough love
Dakar daily and the old europsort coverage is good. Hope the videos can be a little longer from this as theirs a huge international fan base.
Also I wish they would show more of the production class. Like Land Cruiser etc.
As a Formula 1 fan , I loved the Drive to survive lol, nice one
Let's go ross branch❤
👌
A little bit more truck stuff would be nice 🤔🤔🤔👍👍👍👍
What a day! GWS to all injured competitors
Let’s go Romain Dumas - old Porsche factory driver out there! 🏁

That poke towards f1, damn
That took a long time. I hope the next days will be released a bit earlier. The commentary is on point as usual though! 😀
Enjoy the high places until
Daddy KAMAZ comes back! 😎 Safe race to all racers! 🤞
Good job Mason!
Just under 2 minutes and still at the earlier stage. Let's go Carlos Sainz! Plenty of stages ahead!
“Forget about those playboys” 😂😂 the commentary is always amazing!
Well done Giniel ! 👊👍
Parabéns Marcelo Medeiros e Rodrigo Varela e o navegador por vencerem suas especiais

Love it.
the racing triple crown should be: Indy 500; Le Mans & Dakar

5:47 LOL.. this is why Dakar is so fun!
Please let us know how #712 the 2CV is doing.
There is another video covering the dakar classic
Why is the Dakar rally not headed for Dakar?
More onboard cameras please!
Força Brasil! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 Força Varella! Força Medeiros! Bora Lucas Moraes!

the slight jab at F1 in the end lol
Why isn't there a t2 or classic coverage
What about the debut of Moraes from Brazil? You've talked about many guys, but nothing about his 6th position...?
Was that Jack Nickels doing the translating, I thought he is debatable as a person right?
Da real drive to survive 😬
Did some soul sucking producer make commentary stop the dad jokes? It was so much fun last year
why video its only 360p??? good for eyes
mine is 1080HD @ 25fps.its okey mate, they do their best, atleast we have almost 10 minutes instead of those shorts, i dont even watch those.
it's on YT side, not the uploader. watch a bit later and it won't give you 360 only.
