This was so good! Please try to do more of these micro brand discussions. Lorier, Serica, and Baltic come to mind. And yes - if the watch was good - I would probably buy a WF co-branded watch.
This channel plays a pivotal role in my interest and knowledge about watches..so a collaboration release would certainly have a special place among the collection
I for sure would get a Watchfinder watch ! Considering this channel is the source of nearly all my knowledge in watchmaking, it would make sense. Studio underdog was also a great discovery.
Oh Richard is just the BEST!!! This filled my heart with joy and delight! I almost spit my wine out with the "Rich, Ricky and Richard" hahha. I do have a mate called Dick looking for something if you have any positions going... ?
Such a genuine guy who speaks humbly and from the heart - thank you for showing this - channels with your coverage actually have a responsibility to support genuine small guys like this - excellent job well done :)
Yeah guys, go for it! The Underd0g Watchfinder is a great idea... And thanks for the podcast full of thougts and information. As an extremely happy owner of the Watermel0n, I'm really curious about the fieldwatch. I think that with the Watermel0n and the other variations, you Richard really created something unique. Not only in terms of looks or the connection of fun and serious horology. But what's more interesting and unique is that you truly created a watch for enthusiasts. Although they're sold out, I don't see many people flipping them as it is the case with many other successful microbrand (and not only microbrand) releases... It may (unfortunately) come when the flippers realize the potential, but for now, this has been a trully enthusiastic thing and that's wonderful. Keep it up and I'm really looking forward to seeing your next work.
I’d be up for a red, white, and blue color scheme. Given the viewership you no doubt have in the UK and the States, with a nod toward France (Le Mans tie-in), that could make for a sweet look on a big eye/racing(ish) chrono. My 2 cents, but I’m looking forward to seeing what “Team Rick” comes up with.
Gonna go check these out! Almost a sort of vaporwave aesthetic, which is pretty novel. I could see a watchfinder watch being somehow based on sour grapes, 😂 Aside from that, it's very cool that he is trying to do as much as he can locally, with local crafts...men? persons? Very reminiscent of the MUSUBU project/concept that Knot Design is doing in Japan - everything locally-sourced; make it in Japan, for Japan, by Japanese.
I had the change to buy one for the second batch and didn't get it. Still regretting it to this day. I can't wait to see what this brand growth will be.
The reason for the attention to detail is so high is because he made designed all those Pepa Pig and Star Wars watches, there he learned that design has to match original IP. Darth Vader being black with hints of red.
Really like the creativity and the entrepreneurial spirit of the Richard/Ricky/rich. Technically I would prefer less text on a dial but I'm on love with case shape and colors and the button. Also great choice on the movement.
Very cool idea and dial on the watermelon. I was getting a little excited to have a crack at buying one till I heard the price. It’s the same Seagull movement as the 1963 that goes for a third of the price. I get that a micro brand is going to find it hard to compete with mass production but it’s a lot of extra dough. I guess he’s not exactly short of buyers so worth the money to enough people.
As it’s a uk company fish and chips would be something I would love to see. The orange and gold colours would be lovely I feel especially with some red ketchup accents.
What great watches. I would buy one. It's funny, I don't wear a watch but I love them. I love your videos. I think I've seen almost every one. I'm thinking of buying the Sugess Tourbillion. Anyway, just wanted to thank you for your wonderful work. You brighten my days. Thank you
Another one of the best from this format. A great open and informative conversation very well enjoyed. Oddly I feel like I want to eat a water melon followed by some mint chocolate that I do not have. Shopping tomorrow morning may have to remedy that.
Their marketing manager Ricky did a great job with the marketing of the watch. I also can speak volumes of their head of design Rich. The founder Richard did a great job recruiting and putting together this amazing team.
Just waiting for my Water Melon to arrive. Agonised over which to pick before I waited with my cash card for them to drop online. Can’t wait to see the next model and I’ll likely be waiting again to punch my card details in asap.
Great podcast. More of these please. Looking forward to seeing what Rich comes up with next. Great to see a new UK brand. I have the Watermelon and would consider a colab watch if it looks good.
I really dont understand why Studio Underd0g set a time frame like this year to become sold out even though it is a pre-order. Does it means pre-order you will have to pay in advance and the company will use your money to build a watch for you and you will receive it after several months? When they say it is sold out means the watch is in stock. Is it OK if you can explain more?
I know the ST1901 movement as a reliable Venus 175 remake so, props for using it. I'm also assuming the 500 pound price is due to the small number of watches in production. nice work
So happy for Studio Underd0g! Such a great story and hope they keep pushing this forward. That said, I did find the proportions - specifically the thickness - being off in this first run (for the diameter, it feels quite thick). But getting to see that seagull is worth is over a mechaquartz imo. Happy with the decision make by Richard - or was it Rick?
I feel good about your second album.. The band sounds better than ever.. Oh, dont tell strap tailor that 11 is really 10… Your fans can't wait for the album! I was going to do some heavy metal horns.Im to old for that.. I missed the bus last time. I thick twice.. Im standing in this time for front row seats...
Lovely watch. But. As much as I love the idea of a manual wind column wheel chronograph, there's too much risk with the Sea-gull movement. I'd pay a premium for a Seiko NE88 version, or a reasonable price mecha-quartz version.
Hi! I´d be very interested in purchasing watch product of your colab, just as long as their not limited, or at least made available for your suscribers. Very nice interview. Greetings from MX.
I'm a quartz guy (horrors!) and I would buy one. I would much rather join a creative, independent watch-maker + you guys to birth a colorful timepiece that tickles the funny bone. Count me in. My wife offers this advice: make it easy to read at night without glasses. Her current watch is the Speidel "Scrub Glow Watch" for nurses because the dial lights up with the push of a button.
We know you want more watches…. click here: linktr.ee/watchfinder
Was a total pleasure chatting with you chaps! Thanks Andrew and Tom 👊🏼
Well done Rich mate!! Look forward to getting one of these in the future!!
Watches and melons - what’s not to love!!!!
Just added myself to the email list! Looking forward to a restock
Outstanding products, I wonder if Swatch and Omega have been inspired by your timepieces.
Very down to earth with something very interesting going on, ticks all the boxes for me. I am looking at the website about now!
watches look amazing. will buy once restocked
This was so good! Please try to do more of these micro brand discussions. Lorier, Serica, and Baltic come to mind. And yes - if the watch was good - I would probably buy a WF co-branded watch.
Lorier 100000%
There’s something very hypnotic about the watermelon dial. The more you look at it, the more detail you see. It’s almost fractal.
You can say alot of things about that watch but boring is not one of them.
This channel plays a pivotal role in my interest and knowledge about watches..so a collaboration release would certainly have a special place among the collection
Same! I like these Underdog watches, and a collaboration with WF would be very cool. I would buy one, but I'd guess they would sell out very fast
Thanks Gringa! 🎉
Okay, this is the coolest oddball watch...really like this guy's take on his business. Well done.
Got two of Rich’s watches - fantastic quality and design and met at recent Redbar - really genuine guy.
Thanks Jason!
the watermelon overshadows just how beautiful the panda is
Such a genuine guy who speaks humbly and from the heart - thank you for showing this - channels with your coverage actually have a responsibility to support genuine small guys like this - excellent job well done :)

Love these designs… didn’t realise they were a British brand as well.
Love the texture, colours, shape of the hands and details such as coloured tips of small hands.
I’d be up for a red, white, and blue color scheme. Your signature engraved in the back: I would absolutely buy one.
Watchfinder logo on the crown: I would consider.
It's 26 degrees centigrade here in the UK as I'm watching this and I have never wanted to eat watermellon more.
mint chocolate chip ice cream sounds pretty good too
OK I'm here for this guys! ( those guys make some good looking watches)
Cool shoutout for The Strap Tailor, he’s a nice guy and made me an amazing custom strap for my Speedy
Looking forward to the collab! Love Studio Underd0g
Gonna go check these out! Almost a sort of vaporwave aesthetic, which is pretty novel.

What a thoroughly nice chap that Richard is. I wish him good fortune
I had the change to buy one for the second batch and didn't get it. Still regretting it to this day. I can't wait to see what this brand growth will be.
The list of employees and design team is hilarious. Thank you Studio Underdog, for making a fun watch. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
Thank you again guys, good episode, love the watermelon watch and I hope you can come up with a fun collab watch with studio underdog.
Just shut up and take my money already with that collab. 🙈
I completely bet the rebellion thing, yet colour aside, the pristine layout of your watch oozes bauhaus simplicity. Well done.
There all good but that Aubergine watch is bloody brilliant
The reason for the attention to detail is so high is because he made designed all those Pepa Pig and Star Wars watches, there he learned that design has to match original IP. Darth Vader being black with hints of red.
Really like the creativity and the entrepreneurial spirit of the Richard/Ricky/rich. Technically I would prefer less text on a dial but I'm on love with case shape and colors and the button. Also great choice on the movement.
YES! would definitely buy a collab watch from y'all... very fun convo.
Just added my name to the list for that watermelon. I absolutely have to have it. Pink without being girlie, that green adds a lot of fun flavor
Yes yes yes to a collab. That would be so cool! 🤞🤞
In ads here in the USA they usually say “Brawn” though the German is more like “Brown.” Brawny tones from the voiceover guy are usual too.

Aubergine looks like the next trendsetter. Purple dials!
collaboration? YES PLEASE.
hear me out on two inspirations: gulf racing livery, or current aston martin (BRG and lime accents).
Thank you
Waiting for mine to arrive was one of the lucky few to grab my watermelon in the 6 minutes before they sold out …. Can’t wait to get it!
I met Richard at RedBar he's a real nice guy. I'm looking forward to future releases.
Another one of the best from this format. A great open and informative conversation very well enjoyed. Oddly I feel like I want to eat a water melon followed by some mint chocolate that I do not have. Shopping tomorrow morning may have to remedy that.
Would absolutely buy a collab watch, even with a Seagull movement, they're good enough for everyone's fav, Baltic, so why not?
I couldn’t decide so I got 2! I’m eagerly awaiting March!
You had me already by reading the title. Ofcourse I would be interested. Also branding it on the front wouldnt be a bad Idea at all. All the best
Their marketing manager Ricky did a great job with the marketing of the watch. I also can speak volumes of their head of design Rich. The founder Richard did a great job recruiting and putting together this amazing team.

The Lemon watch.
Fantastic chat gents! 👏🏼 Cheers from “Down Under”. 🇦🇺👍🏼
Would the watchfinder colab be hands or microphones?
Where can I buy this watch? I am loving it
Would definitely buy a collab watch
Really enjoyed that ! Rich deserves all the success that is coming to him! Watchfinder colab? Great pop a JLC movement in for £500 count me in!
Definitely going to get my pre-order in for the Studio Underdog x Watchfinder Kumquat!
Great podcast. More of these please. Looking forward to seeing what Rich comes up with next. Great to see a new UK brand. I have the Watermelon and would consider a colab watch if it looks good.
Fantastic from start to finish
YES I WOULD 100% LOVE A COLAB WATCH!!!
Wow incredibly insightful discussion.

I'd buy a Wf watch for sure, would be nice if it's an automatic, but a manual wind would also do :)
The best episode featuring a guest by a mile
So happy for Studio Underd0g! Such a great story and hope they keep pushing this forward.

Banana 🍌 and sheep 🐑 inspired, I'd buy it.
Love the design! Not too convinced with movement.
the close up of the back seems really dirty with respect to its machining - but its looks really cool from a far
Second hand value on Ebay £695.00 -£1,000.00
PLEASE DO IT!
Yes, of course I would buy one.... can we consider caramel as a theme?
This was awesome. Best of luck to your brand. I look forward to your work.
Like an actual watermelon, this story is truly refreshing. Well done Richard/Rich/Ricky and thank you Watchfinder for telling the story!
Definitely would like to see what you guys come up with. Seagull movement is ok. Good luck:)
Btw awesome interview. I already missed watermelon once before s.o.
Yes and let me suggest the underdog x watchfinder amalfi lemon 🍋
I AM VERY INTERESTED IN THE WATCH. Could be cool, depending on what your idea is!
David (the strap tailor) makes the best damn straps in the UK.
Strawberries and cream collab...
Good looking watches. I’m enjoying reasonably priced watches and I feel safe wearing. Great idea. Now if I could talk my wife into another watch😜
Yes, I'd absolutely be interested!
First time seeing this brand and watch, looks great! I'd love to buy one some day along with seeing a collab.
Can you make a watch with a photo/illustration of your hands on the dial? I will buy it.
I would definitely buy a WF co-branded watch when it gets produces. Need my credit info now? =D Love the video.
Yes, would be interested in a collaboration watch
Yep, Id buy a Watchfinder colab. Perhaps in Banana colour….😉
Lovely watch. But. As much as I love the idea of a manual wind column wheel chronograph, there's too much risk with the Sea-gull movement. I'd pay a premium for a Seiko NE88 version, or a reasonable price mecha-quartz version.
Shut up and take my money!
I would love to see a video from you about the krayon watches
Yes, I would buy one!
Nice and fun, congratulations to this guy.
I've always been a bit weary of the st-1901, but damn I want that mint choc-chip
The Watchfinder watch would have a metal detector feature, to help you find watches 👻
I’d buy
Would love to see some real value microbrands like Geckota or NTH
Where to buy this watch?
Interesting design but there is way too much verbiage on the dial.
I’m waiting for the underd0g watch finder collab that I will have 1:1000 to grab unless I get lucky
It’s a good day for time!
