This is why I like mechanical watches. Just the engineering and design that goes onto a mechanical machine that fits on your wrist is amazing.

I really find this ingenious "Twinverter" very useful because I can finally simultaneously time in how long I crap in my pants vs. the time it takes me to desperately run to the bathroom, whichever comes first!! Thanks twinverter! ...and thank you MB&f for this useful advancement in watch engineering and also the creation of a new double entendre word! Now on, I will twinvert to the restroom, or....more plainly,... take a twinvert.

A very impressive feat of engineering indeed. I've just done a dial and hands swap today and struggled so it really puts this into perspective.

That's what draws me to watches so heavily. Anything else, I can work on. Cars, clothes, guns, knives,
all big enough for my terrible fine motor functions. Watches are the only thing physically beyond me.

Now that’s more like it. Not really a fan of the look of most MB&F although I do appreciate how much goes into the horology build of them.
I do however love the look of this.
    Excellent stuff

It's completely nuts! And I love it. A little expensive for the average chess hobbyist methinks. I hope whoever can afford and be lucky enough to eventually own one wears it on the wrist, not while working on the car though as that strap would get a tad grubby. It's odd that no one has yet gone ballistic about the 44mm case and the thickness. I guess those comments are more targeted at the more affordable watches out there.

If you really want the most accurate and legible time buy an apple watch. This is a mechanical masterpiece. It’s art and engineering that happens to also tell the time. I agree at 180k if you want to know the time I’d rather spend 400 bucks at the Apple Store…but if you’re looking for high horological mastery then it doesn’t get better than MB&F.
