Bruhh I finally bought Oneodio pro 30 - brown one after seeing your video! Gotta admit it was a surprise to use it because I expected a rough and tough product for this price range but it was soft like a silk to wear and normalised sound for easy listening like not too loud or not to low to hear! As an audio engineer, I learned a long time ago that if a product has “Pro” in its title, 9 times out of ten it’s probably not meant to be used for professional use. I own a pair of these (two actually) for casual listening, but I would not advise anyone to try to use these for audio critical listening. On another note, just because products are similarly designed doesn’t mean they are the same product with different branding. For instance, Audio-Technica has their ATH series headphones and all of them are designed nearly identical barring a few cosmetic changes that signify its price point. But to go and buy a pair of their 20x’s because you believe that they are 50x only designed differently is just silliness. It’s not the looks that count, it’s the sound quality.
I agree with you 100%... especially regardingwhat you said about the word "Pro". With AudioTechnica I could easily trust in the nomenclature, but in this case, it's proven to be purely for marketing and it's deceptive. Unfortunately this company has a track record of changing their names to suit their needs at the time on the fly.
Everyone says a flat response headphone should be sued for recording. But this is not the case anymore today. Why ? Well because for EDM and processed vocals the likes of Senn DT990's or Sony MDR7506 or AKG K92 or Senn HD280 will not accurately represent EDM mixes. These headphones are good for acoustic instruments, and real live vocals. For EDM, the best cans you can use are those that accurately represent the key areas which is bass and digital instr's. The studio headphones listed above have very poor bass projection performance. To this extent, traditional studio headphones are redundant with contemporary highly processed EDM. Unless we're returning back to real bands, playing real instruments, with truly talented natural voices cans like OneOdio for EDM mixdowns are perfect. Who am I to convey this kind of an opinion you might ask ? Someone that's been in the industry for over 40 yrs, ingested over 100lbs of yayo, and has had more pussy than Gene Simmons !

@@JKBEAST For under $100 I would recommend the Takstar Pro 82, it has a pretty defined, neutral and balanced sound, it's the very best headphone under $100 in my personal opinion, simply superb sound quality all around, it's even "boring" compared to the Oneodio because the bass is just too balanced, that's why the Pro 82 has these little switches behind the earcups so you can control the bass ports and add some extra "fun" bass when listening to music instead of the balanced one for monitoring music production, a little above $100: Audio-Technica ATH-M50x, can't go wrong with the ATH-M50x. The Cooler Master MH751 / MH752 is modified Takstar Pro 82, despite being a "gamer headset" (gamer headsets usually have strong bass just like the Oneodio) it sounds about the same as original Takstar Pro 82 except they removed the bass ports and made the chamber bigger to make the bass and sound stage a little more effective, interestingly enough it sounds exactly the same as the ATH-M40x, so it can definitely be used in a budget studio as well.

LOVED the video. Came here because wasting way too much time trying to figure out whether to buy 50 or 30. Despite what anyone says about how they may sound different when you switch types of music (and I do not doubt that this may be true, I haven't bought either yet and can't compare), I CAN guarantee that people are getting fooled because they READ that there is a difference and they are convinced that it must be true. FACT: they HAVE actually changed how they describe each model. At one point the 30's were described as the more bass-heavy ones and the 50's were balanced, but now (3/26/22) the 50's are "dynamic bass" and the 30's are "balanced". Are they perhaps tuned differently? Definitely possible, though they have the same driver. BUT if they are tuning them differently and their descriptions are accurate, they are actually switching the tuning between models and the 50's you buy at one point may sound like the 30's you bought last year. I tend to believe that it is 100% marketing and they are switching things up on the fly - DEFINITELY with the wording, slightly possibly with the actual tuning. This video showing the name changes of the brand and the website ACTUALLY changing/swapping their descriptions is proof that they ARE doing some things that are nothing more than marketing. And I don't know why they are doing this - these are GREAT headphones! I currently have the Pro-10's and they have been rockin' for almost 3 years without ANY issues, they just need about a 1/2 inch more stretch for my big head. The OOOOONLY reason I might get 50's vs 30's (I need another pair so I won't have to keep unplugging from home to use these at church when I play bass guitar and I want to try the upgraded ear cushions) is because I actually don't like the brown color. And this is coming from a cheapo - I would actually spend $14 more for black headphones (with potentially marginally better sound quality - on the right song and if they haven't switched things up before I click "BUY") rather than wear ugly headphones. At home where no one sees you? Poop-brown 30's ALL DAY LONG or even Pro 10's. I had to use another pair that the music director loaned me when I left mine at home one weekend. He had tested the other headphones (forget the brand) and said they were great - they were absolute junk compared to the OneOdio Pro 10's. Thanks so much for the video!!!

I just received the Pro-30's based on this review since their web site is less than clear on the differences. Strong bass that does not overpower the clear highs and mids - and at a less expensive price. Nice. Thank you.
I'd bought the 30 Pro the brown version initially but when I heard their sound, I didn't like it and it looked muddy though i loved their cushions which are super soft compared to my AT m-50x which BTW sounds amazing. Then I returned and bought the 50 Pro which I liked for their sound and seemed better. On cushion front, 50 Pro look better and are marginally more comfortable than a 30 Pro. On the sound quality, One Odio 50 Pro don't sound as clear or refined as m-50x but they sound nice and good for the price - in fact much better than their price range. If you have not heard an m-50x before, you'll not know the difference in quality. Because I have had m-50x for about an year before i got these, I know these 50 Pro sound a bit unrefined in comparison to m-50x. But you'll not go wrong with these.
The brown ones are amazing! That said, even if they have the same driver, they may be tuned differently. I'd be shocked if the 50's sound better because the 30's are some of the best sounding headphones I've ever heard, and I've tried several! But one might appreciate the sound signature more than the other. You'd probably be splitting hairs with that, though. Just buy the Studio 30s. I don't think you'll be disappointed. They are a cheap build but they don't sound cheap, not at all!
The pro-10 sound similar to the pro-50 if you're watching streaming media, unless you have a high end audio subscription we can't notice the difference.
Do they have the exact same sound signature? According to OneOdio/Audio, Pro-50 has balanced sound and Pro-30 is bass heavy, while the components are exactly the same. They are just tuned slightly different. Would be helpful if you can clarify whether this is the case. 🙌

No the Pro-30s are very slightly bass heavy. It's barely noticeable but it's there. Either work well for long mixing sessions if you're on a Budget. Hell I used JVC Jelly's for months before I got a decent pair of headphones. 🤣 Now I'm waiting on the new MPC ONE to come in the mail. Never in a million years did I think I'd be doing everything I'm doing now when I downloaded that FL studio demo a year and a half ago.
The 50’s sound better. Tested both on a wide range of music and for loud dance tunes, hip hop, Axel F theme, they are nearly indistinguishable...but for acoustical music, classical and music that requires distinguishing subtle tones, the 50’s are much better. Their website states that the two are “tuned” differently as well.
Nithin Dihal that’s more about how your system is set up than the headset themselves. I use mine with a Bluetooth 5 transmitter to a BT 5 receiver plugged into my 50’s and lag is fine. But if have lag, then it will show up on all headphones.

Passport Kings Travel Broooo. I’ve been waiting for 2 months; they just came in today. I did a quick sound check and connected them to my tablet. The bass blew me away. The mids (vocals) sounded ok, but that was just with a quick sound check. Within the next few days I’m going to compare them to my audio-technica and do a better sound check with them and with my controller. I was excited to see they finally came in and came on time for a rescheduled tentative wedding vow renewal I am djing next month...if quarantine restrictions are fully lifted.

The reason you have the 3.5 to 3.5 is to daisy chain the headphones. "Port sharing" It works REALLY well when you're collaborating in an office environment. There are 5 of us that use it in our office.
Came across the brand on eBay and searched reviews on Amazon and now here. Ordered a pair today. My current DJ controller & computer works better with a 2 ring jack than the 3 on my sennheiser headphones 😔.
This company has what we call DID(Dissociative identity disorder). They keep switching their name and the one Studio headphone model thinks it is 3 different models. In the end we realize they were all Edward Norton the whole time! The Mpow on the other hand has OCD(Obsessive compulsive disorder) wherein they have to launch 2 headphones starting with the letter 'H' every month. In 2021, I blind tested both the 50 and the 30 and over several types of music and at different levels, I found that they had a different sound from each other. It seemed to me that the 50 had more bass presence and a more dynamic sound than the 30. In every test I did, I picked the 50 as the sound I liked better. I also thought that the 50 ear pads were softer and more pliable compared to the 30 ear pads. To me, they are not the same. But, both my versions were "OneOdio" and the company may have made changes to them since your review.
in aliexpress site they say the pro-50 is sound balanced, while the pro-30 has more bass. I'm confused, maybe the speaker is the same, but the equalization is different. Have you tested whether their sound is really identical?
loved this review! i was wondering, how are these holding up 3 years later? i was looking into oneodio headphones, but read that the biggest issue is longevity. any thoughts? also, how are the fit on these for a tiny 5'4" girl head? i'm coming from the old sony mdr-xb500s and they're the most comfortable things i've ever put on my head
Gotta say they work fine for my head (5'5"). The actual mechanical parts hold up great, no deterioration, but the plastic casing on mine cracked after about a year and a half. Plus the cushion had started flaking, but I kept mine on 12+ hours a day usually so that might not be an issue. That said, they're only about $50 full price and go on sale for cheaper. So for the price that's still pretty worth imo.
Yeah - I still have my MDR-XB700s. Unbelieavably comfortable. They are the same as the XB500's comfort wise. They flaked a few years ago but I managed to get replacement earpads on Aliexpress for a small price after they weren't available any longer from Sony. They're as comfortable as the originals if they aren't the same. And I put there some generic replacement headband, it flaked as well. They still sound great and are the most comfortable, but I got used to my Beyerdynamics so they're not currently my main ones. Believe me or not, I got them for about $60 back then, it was some crazy sale when they apparently went EOL.

I have heard they got improved sound but does that mean bass is not as good as m30? @@n.aclasheryt4802 From my experience the M50’ has a richer deeper sound. That means that the bass sounded more full compared to the M30. The main song I used to test was Til Tuesday “Coming Up Close” which has thick bass notes playing while high guitar chords are strummed. With the M50, you can really hear the bass and highs distinctly whereas the M30 tended to dull the sound. So in conclusion I would say that the M50 has better bass from a tonal perspective. Now if it’s bass volume you want well that something you can easily manipulate

There r bluetooth, wired, gaming, DJ, fusion, pro, studio, studio pro, the one that can be switched between gaming dj editing, etc etc.. It has so many various price tag, it has a lot price comparison, mind to help me decide???? I play game, i am doing music mixing, and i am doing video editing.. which one should be the best, i saw ur older video and alot of other videos mentioning it is on par with audio technica.. i love the concept and idea whereby my drummer n bassist we can play along conected while sitting down in studio with same exact timing of music background or backing.. But pro 30 has is more bass oriented and pro 50 is more balanced sound . I think there's slight difference. The company is claiming pro 50 as Hi-Res certified while pro 30 is not .

These two sound different, probably to your ears it sounds the same but it is slighly different sound, a bit more heavy bass on the 30 and more refined on the 50
Ok I was worried for a moment. Glad I’m getting a good pair of headphones for cheap. I’ve had enough of my headphone cables breaking and these ones seem like the best choice for a replacement.
The pro 30s have just a little more bass. Otherwise they're exactly the same. Unless you go back and forth and have a trained ear you wouldn't notice the difference.
the 50's are pro tuned, meaning they have matched drivers (resistance, DB's) but that said, I got me a pair off Amazon (pro 30) for $20 "used" (box damage), and I highly doubt Id hear the difference myself due to my age, and constant ringing in my ears :P but yes, they may have the same drivers, but one is tuned, the other is not, and thats what you are paying for, for having matched drivers will give you much more detail in the music or what have you. Provided again you have good ears, and can make out the difference in them.

Obviously they are the same make and model, I just always buy the Pro-50 because I figured they were binned for better quality. I order from the official Aliexpress store so the price difference is only like $3

I bought some oneodios from the CES convention when they had a booth here in Vegas in January two months ago. They are bluetooth and wired come in a hard vinyl case and dont swivel as loose as yours do. They are perfect and Mine are NOISE CANCELLATION which makes mine THE BEST lol your definately right about the price. They are far batter then any headphones i have ever tried.
Amazon even offers different colors of this pair under the name pro 10 which are even cheaper than the 30s. Are they any different than the 50s or 30s?
I have the Studio Pro 50 And Studio Pro 30 and they Are really good the Pro 50 sounds a bit better ( more Bass ) I have on recommendation for all one odio headphones users,if u user a another audio cable u will get better sound from ur one odio headphones. I have headphones that cost over $200. The Pro-30's sound like reference headphones. The response is flat as hell. They sound better than they have any right sounding for the price.
Would be much nicer if you took them apart and do a little comparison to show that they're indeed identical. I do appreciate the video, but while i believe you and just ordered the Pro-30, the same logic you said can be applied to your video. Why should the viewer believe you just because you said so and put it on the internet?

LOVED the video. Came here because wasting way too much time trying to figure out whether to buy 50 or 30. Despite what anyone says about how they may sound different when you switch types of music (and I do not doubt that this may be true, I haven't bought either yet and can't compare), I CAN guarantee that people are getting fooled because they READ that there is a difference and they are convinced that it must be true. FACT: they HAVE actually changed how they describe each model. At one point the 30's were described as the more bass-heavy ones and the 50's were balanced, but now (3/26/22) the 50's are "dynamic bass" and the 30's are "balanced". Are they perhaps tuned differently? Definitely possible, though they have the same driver. BUT if they are tuning them differently and their descriptions are accurate, they are actually switching the tuning between models and the 50's you buy at one point may sound like the 30's you bought last year. I tend to believe that it is 100% marketing and they are switching things up on the fly - DEFINITELY with the wording, slightly possibly with the actual tuning. This video showing the name changes of the brand and the website ACTUALLY changing/swapping their descriptions is proof that they ARE doing some things that are nothing more than marketing. And I don't know why they are doing this - these are GREAT headphones! I currently have the Pro-10's and they have been rockin' for almost 3 years without ANY issues, they just need about a 1/2 inch more stretch for my big head. The OOOOONLY reason I might get 50's vs 30's (I need another pair so I won't have to keep unplugging from home to use these at church when I play bass guitar and I want to try the upgraded ear cushions) is because I actually don't like the brown color. And this is coming from a cheapo - I would actually spend $14 more for black headphones (with potentially marginally better sound quality - on the right song and if they haven't switched things up before I click "BUY") rather than wear ugly headphones. At home where no one sees you? Poop-brown 30's ALL DAY LONG or even Pro 10's. I had to use another pair that the music director loaned me when I left mine at home one weekend. He had tested the other headphones (forget the brand) and said they were great - they were absolute junk compared to the OneOdio Pro 10's. Thanks so much for the video!!!

I just received the Pro-30's based on this review since their web site is less than clear on the differences. Strong bass that does not overpower the clear highs and mids - and at a less expensive price. Nice. Thank you.
I'd bought the 30 Pro the brown version initially but when I heard their sound, I didn't like it and it looked muddy though i loved their cushions which are super soft compared to my AT m-50x which BTW sounds amazing. Then I returned and bought the 50 Pro which I liked for their sound and seemed better. On cushion front, 50 Pro look better and are marginally more comfortable than a 30 Pro.
On the sound quality, One Odio 50 Pro don't sound as clear or refined as m-50x but they sound nice and good for the price - in fact much better than their price range. If you have not heard an m-50x before, you'll not know the difference in quality. Because I have had m-50x for about an year before i got these, I know these 50 Pro sound a bit unrefined in comparison to m-50x. But you'll not go wrong with these.

The brown ones are amazing! That said, even if they have the same driver, they may be tuned differently. I'd be shocked if the 50's sound better because the 30's are some of the best sounding headphones I've ever heard, and I've tried several! But one might appreciate the sound signature more than the other. You'd probably be splitting hairs with that, though. Just buy the Studio 30s. I don't think you'll be disappointed. They are a cheap build but they don't sound cheap, not at all!
The pro-10 sound similar to the pro-50 if you're watching streaming media, unless you have a high end audio subscription we can't notice the difference.

Do they have the exact same sound signature? According to OneOdio/Audio, Pro-50 has balanced sound and Pro-30 is bass heavy, while the components are exactly the same. They are just tuned slightly different. Would be helpful if you can clarify whether this is the case. 🙌

No the Pro-30s are very slightly bass heavy. It's barely noticeable but it's there. Either work well for long mixing sessions if you're on a Budget. Hell I used JVC Jelly's for months before I got a decent pair of headphones. 🤣 Now I'm waiting on the new MPC ONE to come in the mail. Never in a million years did I think I'd be doing everything I'm doing now when I downloaded that FL studio demo a year and a half ago.

The 50’s sound better. Tested both on a wide range of music and for loud dance tunes, hip hop, Axel F theme, they are nearly indistinguishable...but for acoustical music, classical and music that requires distinguishing subtle tones, the 50’s are much better. Their website states that the two are “tuned” differently as well.

Nithin Dihal that’s more about how your system is set up than the headset themselves. I use mine with a Bluetooth 5 transmitter to a BT 5 receiver plugged into my 50’s and lag is fine. But if have lag, then it will show up on all headphones.

Passport Kings Travel Broooo. I’ve been waiting for 2 months; they just came in today. I did a quick sound check and connected them to my tablet. The bass blew me away. The mids (vocals) sounded ok, but that was just with a quick sound check. Within the next few days I’m going to compare them to my audio-technica and do a better sound check with them and with my controller. I was excited to see they finally came in and came on time for a rescheduled tentative wedding vow renewal I am djing next month...if quarantine restrictions are fully lifted.

I have a set of Roland V-Drums and these headphones with their 2 jack ports enable me to plug in the laptop to one port and the drums to the other enabling me to play along to my favorite tunes without disturbing anyone in the house, they rock!

The reason you have the 3.5 to 3.5 is to daisy chain the headphones. "Port sharing" It works REALLY well when you're collaborating in an office environment. There are 5 of us that use it in our office.
Came across the brand on eBay and searched reviews on Amazon and now here. Ordered a pair today. My current DJ controller & computer works better with a 2 ring jack than the 3 on my sennheiser headphones 😔.

This company has what we call DID(Dissociative identity disorder). They keep switching their name and the one Studio headphone model thinks it is 3 different models. In the end we realize they were all Edward Norton the whole time!
The Mpow on the other hand has OCD(Obsessive compulsive disorder) wherein they have to launch 2 headphones starting with the letter 'H' every month.

*EDIT*I got them a couple days ago, and i can barely hear anything unless someone yells at me and they sound so much better than ones from like walmart. The bass is also really nice. And don’t get me started on the comfortable cloud cushions 😍

In 2021, I blind tested both the 50 and the 30 and over several types of music and at different levels, I found that they had a different sound from each other. It seemed to me that the 50 had more bass presence and a more dynamic sound than the 30. In every test I did, I picked the 50 as the sound I liked better. I also thought that the 50 ear pads were softer and more pliable compared to the 30 ear pads. To me, they are not the same. But, both my versions were "OneOdio" and the company may have made changes to them since your review.
in aliexpress site they say the pro-50 is sound balanced, while the pro-30 has more bass. I'm confused, maybe the speaker is the same, but the equalization is different. Have you tested whether their sound is really identical?

i was wondering, how are these holding up 3 years later? i was looking into oneodio headphones, but read that the biggest issue is longevity. any thoughts?
also, how are the fit on these for a tiny 5'4" girl head? i'm coming from the old sony mdr-xb500s and they're the most comfortable things i've ever put on my head
Gotta say they work fine for my head (5'5"). The actual mechanical parts hold up great, no deterioration, but the plastic casing on mine cracked after about a year and a half. Plus the cushion had started flaking, but I kept mine on 12+ hours a day usually so that might not be an issue. That said, they're only about $50 full price and go on sale for cheaper. So for the price that's still pretty worth imo.
After 5 years of a couple hrs use per day, my Pro-10 cups started flaking, so got new cups for $12. Otherwise, no damage.
Yeah - I still have my MDR-XB700s. Unbelieavably comfortable. They are the same as the XB500's comfort wise. They flaked a few years ago but I managed to get replacement earpads on Aliexpress for a small price after they weren't available any longer from Sony. They're as comfortable as the originals if they aren't the same. And I put there some generic replacement headband, it flaked as well. They still sound great and are the most comfortable, but I got used to my Beyerdynamics so they're not currently my main ones. Believe me or not, I got them for about $60 back then, it was some crazy sale when they apparently went EOL.

@@n.aclasheryt4802 From my experience the M50’ has a richer deeper sound. That means that the bass sounded more full compared to the M30. The main song I used to test was Til Tuesday “Coming Up Close” which has thick bass notes playing while high guitar chords are strummed. With the M50, you can really hear the bass and highs distinctly whereas the M30 tended to dull the sound. So in conclusion I would say that the M50 has better bass from a tonal perspective. Now if it’s bass volume you want well that something you can easily manipulate

@@SubhashPrabhakaran it's nice with phone too and does not need a dac/amp for casual listening but its upto you although I must add that the built in dac/amp of the phone can never compete with even the cheapest ones out there. It's always money well spent.

These two sound different, probably to your ears it sounds the same but it is slighly different sound, a bit more heavy bass on the 30 and more refined on the 50
Pro 10 are just like Pro 30. The only difference is Pro 30 has "Protein leather cushions with memory foam".

Ok I was worried for a moment. Glad I’m getting a good pair of headphones for cheap. I’ve had enough of my headphone cables breaking and these ones seem like the best choice for a replacement.
The pro 30s have just a little more bass. Otherwise they're exactly the same. Unless you go back and forth and have a trained ear you wouldn't notice the difference.

the 50's are pro tuned, meaning they have matched drivers (resistance, DB's) but that said, I got me a pair off Amazon (pro 30) for $20 "used" (box damage), and I highly doubt Id hear the difference myself due to my age, and constant ringing in my ears :P but yes, they may have the same drivers, but one is tuned, the other is not, and thats what you are paying for, for having matched drivers will give you much more detail in the music or what have you. Provided again you have good ears, and can make out the difference in them.

Do your earpads small so bad too? The brown rubbers can be smelled in the entire room. The DJ STUDIO PRO/ A2 also has a better, more balanced sound.

I bought some oneodios from the CES convention when they had a booth here in Vegas in January two months ago. They are bluetooth and wired come in a hard vinyl case and dont swivel as loose as yours do. They are perfect and Mine are NOISE CANCELLATION which makes mine THE BEST lol your definately right about the price. They are far batter then any headphones i have ever tried.

I have headphones that cost over $200. The Pro-30's sound like reference headphones. The response is flat as hell. They sound better than they have any right sounding for the price.
Would be much nicer if you took them apart and do a little comparison to show that they're indeed identical.
