- The release of the Galaxy Note 10 has driven one of the last nails in the coffin of the headphone jack in mobile devices. I don't showcase many wired headphones on this channel, but I think it's a proper sendoff to compare my two favorites. #OneOdioPro30 #OneOdioPro50 #OneAudio

The "space" that you're talking about is called soundstage. It is how 3d the sound is.
Get the fiio btr5 and you can still use corded headphones
Exactly was i was looking for, thanks for the comparison!
As a huge basshead, the samson’s gave me a new perspective they sound so amazing and the bass is enough for me it may not be super hard hitting and rumbling but it sounds so crisp that they became my favorite headphones i own in terms of sound quality
Haha loved the way you described the experience. Honest review. Exact video i needed. Now I can't choose between the two. Damn it. I might end up buying both. Subbed.
@13:43
The word you were looking for is soundstage. When a headphone has great soundstage, you hear as if you're listening to speakers. Like the sound is coming from outside the headphone. Open back headphones are well known for having great soundstage. :D
I have them yeah they are fancy n all but these headphones push the guitar sound way back and boost the highs and vocals not balanced in my opinion
I really was hoping someone pointed out the word
This is the comparison I was looking for. It helped a lot. Thanks
That was a fun video, bro! Thank you!
Thanks for watching bro! 🙌
Bro don’t scare me like that dude, don’t stop making amazing vids like this!
Thanks for being here man... no worries, I ain't going anywhere 🙌 #JDLiens
You already know, I was waiting for this comparison
Hey Sir Robbie, I really wanted to that you for giving our guy here the samson SR850 hell , even I was waiting for this comparison
I'll be keeping the wires man.
These companies (and consumers allowing them to do so) are doing a disservice by omitting the 3.5 mm jack. It's just a fact that bluetooth audio still isn't on par 1:1 to wired sound quality. There is a sacrifice of sound to having convenience of no cables (sort of). You have to keep the headphones charged. Just another battery to go flat in a few years.
Will be sad to see these wired reviews go.
You make really good points, but unfortunately it's just not enough to stop, or even slow down the movement.
Preach, I still use wires, but I have been using bluetooth receiver with my in ear monitor for a while now. Bluetooth headphone and earphone are still not great on price to performance ratio.
@@NewStuffTV1 Mpow can handle wired quality?
@@raikenninja4843 yep, nothing BT can beat a ROCK zircon or a tinaudio t2 for the prices of 9$ and 28$ respectively.
@@NewStuffTV1 Cell phones may be doing away with the jack, but amps, music gear, high-end audio and recording gear will always use wires and jacks, so there will always be a need for wired headphones.
Really dig your videos, BTW. You are genuinely (and organically) entertaining!
Great review, thanks
Congrats on preordering the Note10! I'm rocking my Oneodio Fusion A7's with Red Camo Earpads from Wicked Cushions for music, gaming, and working 😎🙌
Niiiiiiiice! I'm gonna have to see this.
Whoa that's a cool setup
Good review I got these for 20 dollars and can't believe how good they sound I do have more expensive beyerdianamic DT 240 but I like these more and they are better than the Bluetooth headphones that I own which are double the price. I think if you are listening to music or editing the Samson are the way to go.
Gosh, Man, you scared me with that tittle, hope for the next videos 👍
Haha! No plans on stopping any time soon bro! 🙌💯 #JDLiens
I have both. I love both. I use the 850 for pro mixing and recording. I use the oneodio for dj , media and general use
Hey I'm currently looking for budget mixing headphones, do you think the oneodio pro 50 will cut it?
nice your review is indepth i just came from the ogptech review on this headphones and its pretty good also but you compared this two so thats a little more info, so the other guy is like quick reviews for when you dont have enough time and your is like if you have that extra time cheers friend!
Great reviews.
I still hope to see more corded headphones reviews in the future
funny dude and entertaining ... keep more review videos coming ....
I need wired headphones to use on my Guitar Amp for quiet practicing, as well as shooting video with my Nikon D7200. I have BT buds for my iPhone.
Awesome video! Thank you for this cool content, appreciate your positivity and all the info
Thanks for being here bro 👊

ruclips.net/video/CO6AH1oEo2Q/видео.html
great video! I am wondering which one brainwavz pads did you get?
Hopefully you discovered some nice sounding Bluetooth headphone amps. Fiio, Audio-Technica, and others makes great sounding units some are even small. Like the Fiio BTR 5.
Actually I caught audio Technica selling the exact same headphones as those oneodio headphones just rebadged for a big upcharged
I have the Samson SR850...audio love it. The round earpads is not so accommodating to my small head. I prefer the oval earpad shape compared to the round shape. There is gap at the back of the earpads when I wear it. The next thing I hate about the Samson SR850 is the 2 metal spring over the head. The clamping force is just too strong for long hours listening. I felt like cutting the metal springs in half and connecting both sides with a stiff rubber tube. The fake leather flap below metal spring is kinda sharp at the edge. You run your finger over the edge, you can feel the sharp coarse edge. The reason I'm keeping it is the audio quality but really feel like modifying it.
OneOdio's latest model, the Monitor 60, is coming. I hope you'll do a review of it someday.
Good video. How's the durability of the cushions of the OneOdio? Have they lasted long without tearing/falling apart?
I have them both. They are both awesome in their own ways. Samson is a little bit fatiguing in the highs and a little bit bassy in oneodio.
thinking of picking up (even w/ alot of headphones already) up the Samsons ... but i have to say those Chrome and Brown headphones look GOOD and unique
Yeah u dont look at em when theyre on your head tho. Samon build/ design is bad but sound is awesome
the oneodio is mimicing the AudioTechnica MSR7GM
Samson sr850 vs ob1?
Which have better sound quality??
Which is best for mixing audio and mastering samson sr850 or the audio tecnica ath20x???
Hey can i get a link for the earpads? I am thinking of getting the samson 850's great review!
I've had my SR850's since 2017. Recently they finally started failing on me :( one side stops working, and then I have the wiggle the cable around and kinda find a perfect spot, but then it happens again... but man, it was an awesome run. The SR850's are amazing. And they do come with velour pads, I'm not sure what the deal was with yours. Mine came straight out the box with velour, bought them off Amazon.
Same here , I experienced the same issue with SR950s. I finally adjusted my cord in such a way that the sound stays perfect and They require 'very' minimal readjusting. Have had them for years and I love the flat response for monitoring purpose and/or general listening.
A buddy of mine replaced his though (because of the same sound issue) with the brown pair of the One Odio headphones in this video. He swears that loves the sound of the One Odios just as much as the other one (for mixing and monitoring) so I'm about to trust his judgement and try a pair for myself. Since he was the one who suggested the SR950s to begin with, I hope he's right about these.
You can get them from Aliexpress for 23 bucks without retail box its the best deal ever
@@shadowmixx Hi bro, so the Oneodio pro 50 is better than the Samson? What do you think?
@@brianbv9605 Actually there are pros and cons for me. As for the Odio's The build, comfort and detachable
cord capabilities are cool, but as far as sound goes, there is a little too much bass in them for my taste.
I still have the old Sampson 950s, but haven't used them because I have since purchased and started
using a different model which have become my favorite.
I now own the AKG 275 Professional Studio Headphones. After doing a little research, I found out that
the Sampson line was basically rebranded AKG 275s. That would explain the similiar sturdy build.
(Without the overly snug fit)
The main differences in the two is that the AKGs have a detachable cord (which I love), the pads are not velour but still very comfortable, and the 'highs' in the AKGs are slightly different, but the overall blend of highs, mids, and lows are great with a smooth flat response.
Oh, and did I mention that the AKG 275s wereslightly cheaper than the Sampsons?
Overall, it was a win-win situation. Peace
Bruh! What's up, man?! No way I got my new Note 10+ before you! I look forward to your video about it.
I ordered it at the beginning of this week directly from Samsung. It won't be here until early September 😢
@@NewStuffTV1 yes I was gonna do that too but went on thru my provider TMO
@@NewStuffTV1 got here in three days!
@@kadamson9298 ugh! I really don't like you at this moment bro. Lol!
Try to but a usb c to 3.5 1/8 / 3.5 jack including a good dac
Just so you know, both the Oneodio/Oneaudio headphones are advertised as different versions. They sport mostly the same specs but one is the pro (the black and red) and the other is an upgraded version of the standard (the brown one). The brown is suppose to have a different sound (more bass heavy) vs the pro which should have a more balanced sound. Can you see if this is true or if they just sound the same?
They sound exactly the same.
I couldn't decide so i Will buy a pair of both (maybe)
cual me recomendarías para mezcla y masterización ¿?
In my country the brown dj pros are named "pro-30" and are around 30% cheaper while the black ones are called "pro-50". Is there any reason as to why they are named different and cheaper?
India?
There's mpow bluetooth receiver for about $20. They're meant to be used as a bluetooth adapter for old cars with 3.5mm jack, but I use mine connected to my in ear monitor.
degrades quality significantly unless you pay for a high end one like ZEOSreviews
I own both pairs and i really do love them both, but I would be weary of the build quality of the Samson SR850 tho, the rubber stress releaves can wear out very quickly in my case 3 months, of daily use, and when the stress relief started to fail, especially at the left earcup, it will start to make static noises when the cable is disturbed, a cable protector or an aftermarket cable stress relief or even super glue can fix, but its just something to keep in mind
Please can u tell me which is better in instrument seperation and listining to classical music
@@curiositycatalyst2929 would recommend the SR850s it sounds crystal clear, but just be careful of its durabilitty
Velours pads change the sound. The bass can escape through the fabric material, with TPU leather it pumps inside.
Check out the headband on the phillips Fidelio x2hr open back headphones they are similar to the Samsung in the video in some ways
hello sir, try out the Qudelix 5k portable bluetooth amp / dac, it sounds amazing, I have been using my corded headphones quite a bit more, it gives a good sound boost to headphones you already own, also it makes a good dac / amp for your computer as well
hey man wat bout voice record and mic .. which 1 is better.. for online class purpose .... -please do reply
You can use a high quality type c to 3.5mm adaptor :-(
Can you just manually bass boost the sr850?
What's the difference between oneodioPro 50 and audio one Studio 10
hello, can this model be superlux hd668b? sr850
Hey man, can you tell me what earpads did you bought for sr850?
can you link the replacement pads for the sr850s
Does pro 50 heads can handle nx1s amplifiers?
Btw, you could always get an open back headphone that has a detachable cable, like the Philips SHP9500, and make them wireless by adding a $15 Bluetooth receiver to them.
Good idea!
I got my popcorn and coolaid 🙌
Ha! That's my guy!👊

You didn't want that Note 10 goodness Gale? Lol!
@@NewStuffTV1 goodness=downgrade? note is supposed to be the pinnacle of connectivity and function yet it is worse in that regard
granted that i have a cheap BT transmitter/reciever .... well just for fun I tried using my Samson SR850's connected to my BT reciever adapter and it worked like a charm :)
How is oneOdeo dj pro-10??
16:00 that smack lol
I think the term you were looking for was “soundstage”.
And "imaging" :)
The threading on the 1/8 jack id for screwing on the 1/4 adapter. There is no piece of gear you screw your jack into....
Wouldn't you need hair for them to be cushioned..?
I like having the option of choosing between 3.5mm or Bluetooth. LG's devices, ASUS' ROG Phone, and Samsung's S10 have headphone jacks. If you want good sound get the Samsung, if you want great sound get a LG or the ASUS they have built in DAC's with multichannel capabilities. All of that comes down to use case though. I prefer to be able to use Bluetooth, USB-C, And 3.5mm. Its a convenience that should be present. but like any convenience its exactly that, a _convenience_. No I dont Need it but its there if I do for any reason. Just like how if the phone has enough storage it doesn't Need an sd card slot but being able to remove my data for personal or emergency purposes is a convenience that I wouldn't settle without.
If you decided to read all of this I do respect your decision, but think of your wants and list what you'd like as conveniences. i know it doesn't stop your pre-order from arriving but if you do still have your older device it would still leave you open to having the ability to review a corded headphone in the future if you wanted to.
I can appreciate what you said, but I think you missed the part where I said I've been done with the headphone jack for about 5 years now. You also have to consider the mainstream market. The mainstream market does not care about the headphone jack anymore because there are so many good bluetooth options. Apple still drives the market in decisions like this and since the ridiculous thing called "AirPods" came out... the market is set. The people who still long for the headphone jacks is a relatively small community in comparison to the mainstream. You'll still have USB-C to 3.5mm I'm sure, but my guess is that within 2 to 3 years from now, there will be no new phones coming out with jacks. Honestly, I think we're very lucky Samsung includes USB-C earbuds. I'm absolutely positive that won't be the case in 2 years.
The threading on ANY headphone is to screw on the larger stereo input, that is nothing special for Samson, how come yours didn't come with the adaptor? It's not for securing and screwing it into an input.
Don't scare me like that!
I almost had a heart attack!
Haha! Come on man... I ain't going nowhere! #JDLiens 🙌💯
I use the jack for both head/earphones and microphones. I do use Bluetooth whenever possible, even via adapters to wired devices, but it's not always an option. And dongles aren't as secure, introducing extra failure points. I hope Samsung will produce versions of their future devices with jack. I would gladly pay $50 extra for it even though it costs them like $0.50.
I'm sorry bro... the mainstream market doesn't care about headphone jacks anymore. Phones with headphone jacks will soon be collector's items.
@@NewStuffTV1 I highly doubt it. Not anytime soon thats for sure.
for video classes on PC?
thanks man i almost forgot to subcribe. thanks for remember me to subs.
RIP! Wires....lol Great Vid....AGAIN!
Thanks!
Actually those Samson's are reference headphones. They are made to have a flat sound so the music sounds exactly like the musician wanted
TBH, I prefer the convenience of bluetooth headphones and actually use AirPods most of the time. However, I bought those Samson SR850s for stealth guitar practice and they're phenomenal.
I have question (hopefully you can answer) both the Pro50 and A70 of OneOdio is close to the same price (A70 is a few more "cent")
So which one would be overall better for music, gaming, mixing and all that but A70 have Bluetooth which can connect to my phone a little bit better.
And sound quality of Bluetooth connect am fine with it a little worse than wired connection but am curious to know the result between wired connection of Pro50 and A70, I would only do wireless on my phone anyway so if its a touch bit worse is not an issue.
If you are thinking about gaming and mixing get the Pro-50! You won't regreat! Anyway I guess it's a bit heavy if you use it for a long time.
He is a good chatterbox. Lol. Thanks for the info
I have and use both the sr850 and the pro-30. Both are good for their price, but in terms of sound quality the sr850s are the clear winner. They are much wider and more balanced. That said they are worse in almost every other metrice. The earpads don't feel good and the cable isn't removeable or replaceable. The Oneodios are extremely comfy, have cable gimmicks, and have that punchy bass with the V-shaped sound. But they feel very plastic-y in hand and in terms of wideness they are caught in that awkward area between cheap mass market headphones you can pick up in a department store and actual audiophile headphones.
The Sr850 stays at my computer for watching videos and the Pro-30 is kept at my game station because I like the thumpy bass, how comfy they are, and they have a mic cable.
The Samsung A series still uses the 3.5 Jack's.
Please review Sony xb55ap
Please review Tribit Xfree Tune asap😊
Coming up later this week 👊
Hey, you might want to check out the grado gw100, they are open back bluetooth headphones

Which would you recommend for recording vocals?
I'm going with the samson...bcoz i used a closed back headphone and one problem for me with these headphone is that..i can't hear my own voice so while trying to cover a song..it really blocks aways the external sound ...and my voice sometime tends to go out of tune.. I'm overwhelmed by the soundtrack ...just try with local earphone..one with open back(earphones with small holes on their back) and the one with silicon earbuds ..u will see the difference..
The brown and silver is not the same Headphone like the Pro 50.
The brown and silver one is the Pro 30.
I have both like u and they sounds a litte Bit different,by the way on the Pro 30 is the nam OneAudio and on the Pro 50 they changed the name to OneOdio.
Cant play lossless audio over bluetooth. Just one of the many reasons il hold onto my senheiser hd 600s
I'm over cords shorting out!
My Samson’s came with the other pads
Grado makes an open back Bluetooth headphone. They’re $250 though 😒. I think Grado only makes open back. I have two of their headphones, both entry level, the SR60e and the SR80e. They’re both excellent headphones sound wise. The 80s have slightly more bass but neither have bass to write home about. I mean the bass is good but not thumping. Everything else sounds great. The sound separation is amazing. The first time I tried an open back headphone, dare I say 20 years ago, it was like hearing sound for the first time. I still dabble in closed though because when I’m out and about sometimes I like to block out the outside world, can’t do that with open.
Now you've got me thinking of a hybrid! Something with the concept of the V-Moda Crossfade where you can unscrew the outside of the earcups to expose the back of the driver. Then all it would take is a dedicated app with a "Open Back" toggle mode and BAAAM!
Isn't the headphone jack just a leak point they can't deal with on water resistant phones
Thanks for the bald head comment! :)
Glue a piece of foam on the headband.

@@keiths.heather8661 fair, but I tend to hear that the Pro 50 have more bass than usual. The samsons are just more balanced, in which the bass can be adjusted and improved with an amp or different earpads. I personally use the Philips SHP9500 or AKG k245s for mixing tho
