A certain aussie recommended these and I got these myself, also got some new earpads for them, combined with the new earpads, these are the best headphones I've ever owned
Thanks for sharing.
I found them from dankpods and I ordered some a few days ago
Thank you for the video. Sounds like a very good way to enjoy music at a more than reasonable price. Hope you‘re doing good! We‘ve had some terrible flood-issues in Germany. Luckily, my area was hit that hard but in other parts of the country complete villages got washed away. Terrible 😞 . All the best from over here!
Hello Stephan. The more I listen to these the better I like them and they are really good for the price. I heard about all that flooding in Germany and It was crazy to see the extent of damage it caused. I hope everybody is well and that ends soon. i hope you are also doing good and staying safe. Talk to you soon.
Bought these a while ago, super nice
Thanks for sharing and watching the video. Yes, the sound is very good at this price point and for editing it's a steal. Thanks.
Excellent ----
Many thanks!
this was my first headphones that I got into the community, then the 6xx and then the hifiman arya. Good times.
Thanks for watching.
My God these are great headphones. I can't believe how good the sound is. I come from Akg q701, Beyerdamics dt770 250ohm, dt 990 250ohm. The sound from the Samson is much better. No sibulance at all. Wide, clear very detailed sound. Bass is perfectly tuned to compliment the overall sound signature. I dont think i will be buying any more headphones for a while. Do not think i will find a headphone that can match thus sound. Comfort and build quality is very good. Solid built no loose or noisey parts. Pads may not have memory foam but i find the pads comfy. And not heavy can use for hours no discomfort. Solid 5/5 these are a very satisfying headphone to find in that endless sea of headphones.
Yes these are great for the price. I use them all the time and they make voice very clear.
Hi! Since this is semi open, is it ok for doing voice overs or do the sound leak a lot?
I have done them with them and I think they perform good for that.
@@craigneidel oh cool. I'll get one then. My Sennheiser HD 206 just gave up on me after 4 years. So I'm in need of a new pair of cans. It does help that I'm also using the samson Q9U as my mic i guess for compatibility. Anyway, thank u so much for the reply! :)
Thanks and good luck. Just try them out and if you don't like them return them. Audio is quite subjective so hard to say if you will like them for sure but give them a quick try.
Compare to Superlux HD681, which is better?
I have not used the Superlux but maybe somebody will post the difference. Thanks.
I can get these for about 20usd. Should I go for it or are there any better options?
For $20 usd that would be the best deal and nothing is better at that price.
@@craigneidel Thanks!
Did you get them? I want to buy them but i heard the treble is too peaky? Lots of conflicting Reviews.
@@Unizuka no i didn’t. im particularly sensitive to peaky treble so i didn’t really buy this. ive also heard problems about comfort which i also really value in a headphone.
i think you should really only buy this if youre mixing audio, not casual listening.
These are the best 20 dollar headphones I have bought if you need big soundstage and clean highs when listening to music look no further these also make for accurate tracking and monitoring not recording
Yes, these are great for the money. Thanks for sharing.
I agree, these are incredible sounding headphones, they beat my sennheiser hd515 by a mile, price means nothing, ive heard the sennheiser hd800 i absolutely hate the sound of them, they sound recessed and boxy.
I like them quite a bit. I know everybody is different but for the money I agree that these are hard to beat.
I want to buy this headphone specifically for watching shows and listening to music. Is it worth it for me?
Yes, I think they would work great for that. For the cost they are very good from my own personal experience.
@@craigneidel thanks for the feedback, appreciate it! 🙏
@The Caring Adolf Hitler that's great 👌
Does this headphone work on ps4 ?
I don't have a PS4 but would assume so. They are just a normal headphone so don't see why not.
Akg k72 or this
I have not tried the akg K72 but for the money the Samson headphones are very good (for around $50).
K72s are not good, i bought them last year but i had to return them, they were worse than my cheap Chinese headphones.
