Speaking of stuff in your fabric, the last piece I bought had a cacoon and web of some kind in it, grossed me out I didn't want to use it. It was dead too. Just gross....of course the shop I got it from couldn't garuantee that it came from her place, well yes maybe, she's putting her products she sells out on her veranda during covid....
