      Yep! Mix match and combine for what feels good for you! But remember that even 5 minutes a Day is better for you than 1 hour once a week so if you only make it to 1 video sometimes consider that a success!

      SarahBethYoga I love your yoga channel. I started yoga by accident during lockdown, trying to find ways to lose menopausal weight gain - running isn’t as easy as it used to be - now I’m addicted and so far have lost 7lbs, gained flexibility, feel less stressed and joint ache has gone! Thank you 🙏🏻

    Sarah, I found myself crying in the middle of the practice. I was shedding tears of gratitude for how far Yoga had brought me. From not wanting to get up and wanting to sleep through till death, yoga has given me that one reason to get up and fight my inner demons of depression. Yoga has revealed my inner strength. It has taught me that I am powerful. I am made for hard things. I want to carry forward this strength to other areas of my life where I am currently struggling. But I know I'm made for hard things and when the going gets tough, the tough get going. You've been my guide, you've been the voice in this journey. You're my Guru. This journey would not have been possible without you. I am so grateful to you.Namaste 🙏🏼

      I, too, was emotional as I read your comment. I wish you nothing but the best! I've also been fighting depression but daily exercise and finding other things that make me happy (like art and baking) have gotten me through emotional times.

    Dear Sarah Beth, you've been my savior for a very long time, and I just wanted to thank you for your consistent uploads. Your yoga gives me strength and hope every day, and your bedtime routines helped me sleep after a sudden, painful breakup.
    It's in the challenge that I grow. I am made to do hard things.
    Love,

    “You were made to do hard things” was such an exciting and motivating phrase. Every fiber of my body was like “Hell yeah!” and kept going with it even though I lost balance and control of my breath a couple of times.

    As a 69 year old female, I find your practices all I need and/or want. This video is challenging! Some days time is a factor so your 15 minutes are perfect. But This one is my favorite and after abandoning my daily practices for a while now, I came back to this one this morning. I couldn’t follow completely, had to fast forward some, but I’m motivated to get back at this practice much more often. I’m a bank teller and puppy dog is essential to counteract my work stance! Thank you ,❤️

    I have just discovered yoga as a nurse in burnout and I cannot emphasize the revelation it is. I had completely forgotten my body and spirit and was just giving and giving until something in me broke. I’m putting it all back together and the discovery of yoga, breathing, thinking of myself as a Mountain, a Warrior, a humble dog or puppy, a Goddess and even a Child has opened up all sorts of self-awareness I had lost over the years. Thank you Sarah Beth for your kind accompaniment through this wonderful journey I plan to continue.

      I'm so glad you found yoga and are using it as such a tool for your life right now! I think you'll also really like the Standing collection (green leggings, black tank) thre are a couple on RUclips and 10 in the SarahBethYoga APP. One of the reasons I made it was for a nurse who requested a yoga routine that never touched the floor so she could do it during her break. Keep it up and thank you for what you do 💙

    This one is in my ‘eventually learn by heart’ list. Its a perfect blend of upper and lower body engagement, and Id never been able to grasp the ‘one breath one movement’ thing because im a bit rhythmically challenged, but by the end i feel a part of the flow, and accomplishment that my clumsiness has fallen away quite a bit. I like the slow buildup of soft music, it adds to the mood.

    Wow 🔥🔥🔥 exactly what I needed today! Can’t believe that was actually 30 min - time flies when you’re having fun! I usually shy away from that length, my comfort zone quickly fades after 20 minutes. “I was made to do hard things” is exactly what I needed to hear and say. Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

  • @daftoptimist
    @daftoptimist 3 года назад

    Sorry about double-commenting but I’ve done this a routine few times now. I hang out on my mat after practice for a few minutes, to catch my breath and think about my progress. When I was done with that today, I stood up right off the floor with virtually no effort - and then I realized what I’d just done. I’m in my early 30s and healthy, with no mobility or joint/back problems, but I am overweight so getting right up off the floor usually takes me a couple seconds. My core must be getting stronger if I can just pull myself up that easily all of a sudden. Yay!

    I just love your videos! You are amazing at explaining the flows and postures and so easy to follow. Your voice is so soothing and great to listen to! Thank you for doing these videos for everyone to enjoy! I am not new to yoga but a beginner all the same, so it is so helpful to have the postures explained so thoroughly. It makes doing these videos easy and fun.

    Really enjoyed this, great to spend some time in the postures and do some work, which for me is way harder but more satisfying and allows time to connect. Most yoga videos out there tend to keep things moving all the time.

    I'm so happy I found this channel. This is week 5 for me. Yoga twice a day five days a week and now I'm ready to extend it to seven days a week. I find so much inner peace and challenge practicing yoga.
