- Today we are visiting the biggest antique market in Italy, it is in Piazzola sul Brenta (province of Padova, Veneto region).
The market takes place every last sunday of the month, and has more than 800 stalls with thousands of sellers coming from all over Italy.
Here you can find very good deals, but we will see also the most expensive part, and then also the cheapest one.
At the end of the video we will show you our haul with all the things we got in the last month.

Hello Maya, oh yes if you come to Italy again I totally suggest going to this market, but there is also another one that is in the town center that is beautiful (the market in Prato della valle, Padova!) 🤩🤩🤩 And then I can suggest many places to visit! 🥳🥳🥳🔝🔝🔝
I’ve use alcohol when it’s glazed porcelain comes off right away. If it’s poorest I have also used alcohol but it’s difficult to take off but still it will come off with a lot of rubbing. Love all your episodes. Miss your mom you’re doing a great job.

Hi Aurora! I LOVE this flea market. A nice big one. I'm counting down the days now 'til I come to Italy. I think I'm coming at a bad time for flea markets though since it's the week before Easter. My first Sunday in Rome is probably the only flea market that I will I will be able to go to. Fingers crossed that it will be open and I can find a couple souvenirs there. If not I will be on the constant look out for thrift shops in every city that we visit. 🧐🤞 ~ Ciao for now, Aimee

Grazie mille for sharing this market. I just moved to Padova and my landlord told me about this market (he used to be the mayor of Piazzola sul Brenta many years ago!). For the furniture, must the buyer move it immediately or will the seller help arrange transportation/delivery?Also do the vendors expect negotiation or does the seller pay the price listed? Thanks again!

Hello Chantal, I store the scarves well folded in some good shoe boxes, I have 5 boxes now! 😆 The scarves I use more often are on a shelf close to where I keep the jackets, so I can grab them quickly! 😘

I was at the Arezzo and Gubio antique markets last year in July......but this one looks even better. And now that I think of it, sellers in Arezzo told me that I needed to visit the market in Padova.
I am wondering if you ever see any antique knives at the markets in Northern Italy?

I am going to Corsica first for 10 days, then coming back to Livorno and going directly to Verona for 7 days. Then to Trento for 10 days. Then I may go to Montenegro for a week and come back to Italia and go to Tuscany.
I have been to Italia many many times and never been to Venice.
So my 4 main objectives for this trip are to :
1) Swim in Lake Garda at Riva del Garda
2) Do a day trip to Venice from Verona
3) Visit the Madonna Della Corona
4) Visit Vipiteno and Rovereto

I love your videos. You should look at a US RUclipsr called Laura Caldwell. She loves Bitossi and has picked up some fantastic pieces at various Antique Fairs/Thrift Stores. She recently went to Nashville and picked up a Bitossi dog for $10.

The same is here in Italy: in the northern part we have many markets and vintage shops, while in the southern part there are only a few! I'm lucky because I live in the northern part and I've got plenty of choice!

In the past, when I tried to film using a Digital camera, I've noticed that the sellers were a bit 'scared'! 😅
I guess here in Italy they are not used to see people filming in the markets, I can't imagine their faces if I had a camera on my chest 🤣 so generally I prefer to film with my phone, without getting too much attention! 🤗
But I admit it would be more easy to dig in the boxes with that kind of camera you suggested! I'll think about it! 😉
