I fucking love how he’s not using a thumb pick. Thumb picks always cut off my circulation so I don’t use them but this guys proving that a thumb pick isn’t necessary. Sick
@@mylittlebuckaroo Technically perhaps, but I think Laurence would sound far better if he played with nails and thumbpick instead of using the flesh of the fingers, which lacks clarity.
Wow...what a great player and what a responsive sounding guitar. I'm gonna guess that it's his Martin signature model and it sounds like a cedar top in order to get that bright chime-like tone...I'm just assuming cedar brings out that type of tone!!
I like this I'm guitar noob but I will play it 100000times and master i love it I love its mood makes me feel like in land of grass and horse my words is bad to explain my feeling. :( You may know what I feel :)

@@AntonLFG I have been developing this technique for a year now but it's so hard to quickly switch in and out of it. and it doesn't sound very good on the high E string.
