Wow, Ivor, Truly the Bible is full of treasures, and God is guiding you to find and share them with those who will "listen." This account of Ezekiel is truly deep and incredible. It's parallel to Revelation and to the entire NT too. That very pattern is part of the proof by which to understand and discern all Bible prophecy. We live in the age when God wants humankind to be sure to see the whole message of His soon coming. Amen! Thanks for sharing such light as this!

This is interesting about Chapter 1.
Ezekiel was called to ministry aged 30, as was Jesus.
Also Ezekiel sees the Glory of the Lord in the fire and sees the four faces, which are the ox, the eagle, man and the lion.
The glory of the Lord comes down on Jesus in a fire at his baptism and then he’s seen working in his four aspects of his ministry - as divine, human, king and servant as seen in the gospels.
Excuse me Pastor Ivor, I have to go pick up the pieces of my mind and brain. My mind has exploded and is in 1000 pieces --- AMEN -- AMEN --AMEN !!!! Thank you for this study. I read Ezekiel recently and learned so much, but this revelation of the pattern really is mind-opening. I love the patterns the God places through His word and how they are reflected all around us.
I have a question on the order of prophets, priests, judges and king. I saw Abraham as the patriarch who was the root of the children of Israel (God’s children). I saw the prophets as those who contended with kings.
Jesus is a prophet, priest, and king, but he first arrived as God’s One and Only Son, and sonship is a pattern in the Bible as well as you showed us in the Son of Man pattern as well, so I don’t think that should be left out.
I’m concerned that in leaving it out, those who view us as a cult will say, “See, they just believe Jesus is a prophet.” But growing up SDA I always knew that Jesus was God incarnate, God’s Son, a part of the trinity and that he died for us so that we could be children of God because that is what we all already are! 🥰
Please forgive the coffee cup image. I added that years ago and haven’t bothered to update it, but it’s not a true reflection of who I am. That’s actually one of the first things God freed me from when I got rebaptized. 😆

I hear you and praise God and lol on the coffee analogy. :) When I speak of offices in the Old Testament, I'm referring to specific "offices" that were set up, and occupied by Israel. These were "legal" positions. Family relations (sonship, fatherhood, motherhood, etc.) are not "offices" in that way. Does that make sense?

What were the children of Israel doing that had God so, done with the children of Israel. What sins, because it is clear that he was done! And mean done! It had me in tears, he was so done! They didn't take God seriously!
He wanted to bless them, but they wanted to do things there own way! And totally ignored the prophets over and over again. He was fed up. Poor Ezekiel, he tried as did Jeremiah, Isaiah
. They wouldn't listen, kill the prophets, over and over again. 😢😢😢😢

Please, share how you handle inter city issues. Please explain what issues was God dealing with. " son of man" I read this book it appears to me that God was very disappointed appoint with the children of Israel. More over there are many who believe the temple in Ezekiel 40 Thur 48 is referring to a new temple being built in Israel today or future building. However, my understanding. God was very disappointed with the children of Israel and was showing her people that if, if you follow my commandments and law, I'll give you the pattern of temple. Ezekiel 43:7-12 and if, if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house 🏠 , and the fashion thereof, and the going out thereof and the comings in thereof, and all the forms ,and all the forms thereof, and all ordinance, thereof. And all the forms thereof and all the laws there. This is law of God house. It's like a parent tell this children if they get good grades and do the right thing, you shall be blessed. But they did not follow God ordinance so, so children of Israel will not, will be giving you the blue print for a new temple. Therefore, built yourself nenimah, not Ezra were not been given the blue 💙 prints!!!! Period there will be no new temple built! Beware the anti- Christ do not decive many. Due to many believing in new temple being built in our life time.

My brother flesh and blood hath not revealed the things that you now speak of. Eze.37 is a literal resurrection of the dead but most of us as Adventist see it only as a spiritual revival.
