Love how Gwen doesn't care about the obvious jealousy from Miles and acts all weird about it saying "oh not that many." because of her and Hobie but yet when Miles talks to Margo she gets hella jealous.
I think Gwen is close to Hobie just not romantically but knows Miles might think she is so she tries to manage his jealousy and downplay their relationship. It's super considerate; there's lot of people who take advantage of jealousy. She only has eyes for Miles. That's why she immediately gets jealous of Spider-Byte.
Eff outta here. The jealousy kicked in at 3:37 when she thought he was feeling spiderbyte. Y'all forget, this is Miles's movie.

Seeing Donald Glover, who was the first voice actor for Miles Morales in Ultimate Spider-Man, meeting Spider-Verse Miles Morales felt like a subtle passing of the torch to Shameik Moore, much like Lou Ferringo meeting Eric Bana or Edward Norton in the Hulk movies.
This prowler is from Tom Holland's universe
He also played the Prowler in Spider-Man Homecoming.
It's an amazing full circle moment, because Donald Glover is who Sara Pichelli and Brian M. Bendis modeled Miles after during the creation of the character.

Honestly, I've always wondered that about ANY of the Spider-People with full-head masks. Same applies to Miles and Gwen. Surely there'd be some weird shape where there hair is. Idk. I guess, just don't overthink it, lol.

I believe 100% that given the chance, Hobie would have told miles long ago about him being an anomaly. Had he known Miles as long as Peter B and Gwen did he would have visited him plenty of times and would have told him already the truth about him.
Though if he ever tried to im pretty sure the spider society would have taken away his watch immediately. So his initial move, the one where he stayed low and taking parts to make a watch, was the best choice.

I love how the introduction of the Spider Society shows hundreds of different Spider Men and women with all of these unique designs. But as the chase begins its like they completely forgo those designs and keep using the same designs. Now granted using so many different designs would take longer to animated but still

It already took three years just to animate Hobie, I can't even imagine the time it would've taken to put that level of dedication to that scene.

I don't like the live action cameo. Would have been better to make him animated. Animation is a perception of reality, and while I like the different animation styles, live action interacting just feels wrong.

I just don't get why not send "everyone" against the biggest threat in existence and not after Miles, like the biggest threat is the guy who can open his own portals and go to "ANY" universe instead of the guy who would technically destroy his universe if ____ happened but the real problem is the guy who's powers is to literally jump to any universe.
Some others from the spider society are going after spot, Miguel and his team are going after Miles tho. This probably why we see a bunch dead spider people in Miles’ future vision spot showed.
