➡️ Is it Possible to Detox Your Lungs?
Some have claimed that it's not possible. They say that once the damage is done, it's done for good. But according to the American Lung Association, yes, it is possible to detox your lungs and repair some of the damage that has already occurred from bad habits like smoking cigarettes. You can do the following:
    ➡️ 1. Stop Smoking
Cigarette smoke contains over 7,000 chemicals which has negative effects on the tissues of your lungs. It causes them to decrease in size, develop a black pigmentation, and it causes inflammation as well.
    ➡️ 2. Maintain Good Posture
You may not realize it, but slouching and hunching over can have negative effects on your lungs and, over time, make it more difficult to breathe. This may feel natural, but over time, it results in fatigue, back pain, and yes, as I just mentioned: Weaker lungs.
    ➡️ 3. Exercise Regularly
Doing so forces the lungs to take in larger breaths at a faster rate than normal. Exercising regularly will strengthen the diaphragm which works to push toxins out of the lungs.
➡️ 4. Monitor the Quality of Air that You're Breathing
A major factor in the health of your lungs depends on the quality of the air that you breathe in over a period of time. Industrial factories and even things like driving a car can have a negative impact on the local air quality in your area.
    ➡️ 5. Perform Breathing Exercises
It’s important to know that the diaphragm naturally starts to work less efficiently as we age. And that is why it’s important to do breathing exercises regularly in order to keep the diaphragm strong and healthy.
➡️ 6. Protect Yourself From Respiratory Infections
A cold may seem harmless, but unfortunately, some viruses can quickly escalate and cause infections that have lasting effects. This is especially true for the older population.
➡️ 7. Monitor Your Oxygen Saturation Levels
When you breathe, air enters the lungs and oxygen is picked up in the hemoglobin of red blood cells so that it can be transported and distributed to the tissues of the body. The organs of the human body require a certain amount of oxygen to function properly.
➡️ 8. Prevent Mucus and Phlegm from Accumulating
Mucus is a substance that lines the airways of the lungs to provide lubrication, filtration, and protection to keep foreign materials from entering the respiratory system.
    ➡️ 9. Use Essential Oils
An essential oil is a concentrated liquid that contains chemical compounds and substances that are derived from plants. There are several herbs that offer tremendous benefits not only for the entire body, but for the lungs as well.
    ➡️ 10. Eat a Lung-Healthy Diet
When it comes to the health of your lungs, most people don't realize that your diet and the foods that you consume plays a role. Just like the other tissues of your body, the lungs need adequate nourishment as well.

Smoking is worst thing to stop. Put them in a medicine cabinet., then you have to look yourself in the face to take one it makes you think twice. The urge will pass in a few minutes so do something with your hands. Replace that bad habit with a new habit. Years ago l bought a boat with the money l spent on cigarettes. I back slide when my son came over to tell me about his break up. We were in garage the only place allowed to smoke. He had thrown his cigarettes on the table l was sitting a As l was listening to this craziness this girl did to him l without realizing what I was doing picked up a cigarette and lit and sat there and smoked it. Then l went off about his drama. Its nasty and bad for over all health. . you can smell if a person smokes. Do yourself and if pets a favor and quit. Your pets will thank you. I pray this is helpful and you save your health and money and go buy yourself something nice when you pull thru after 90 days. Yes the cravings last forever but keep on fighting the. And poof one day gone. No second and third hand smoke either. Very bad for you and them.

Beta carotene is the most impnutrient for the lungs. And, resistance breathing exercises are a must if one wants healthy lungs because one needs the lung muscles to be strong enough to be able to cough out any sputum build up ,whenever it happens, or else it will slowly build up and cause congestion and progressively the lung muscles just won't have the requisite strength to cough out and eject the built up mucous and phlegm.

I think it does to do it air quality and I have been told that I do not breathe properly. I tend to hold my breath and I don’t mean to also I do not consider posture to be that important but it makes perfect sense when I sit up straight and concentrate on my breathing or when I go to bed and concentrate on my breathing that’s good. I think it’s very important for people have a choice to have her air ducks cleaned change the air filters regularly that can make a difference. As a renter I don’t have those choices anymore. Some ion air purifiers, the real expensive ones may help. I have not found a cheaper ones to help. Well one thing about wearing masks will face warm and I just got out of the car I don’t have to ingest somebody else’s smoke

If you liked this video, you may also want to know that there's a new study from the British Medical Journal (which is well-respected) that highlights the gut-lung connection. It's called: Rapid Resolution of COVID-19 After Faecal Microbial Transplantation! Fecal Microbial Transplants (FMT) have a 90% success rate in exchange for relatively low risk. So there is some risk that exists with this procedure. For example, one person receiving FMT got an e-coli infection because the transfer was done in a home setting, not in a healthcare or research setting. When the procedure is done in a clinical setting, the stool is screened to prevent the transfer of aggressive pathogens! FMT is only approved for treating c-difficile at this time, but is being researched for other conditions, so stay tuned!

FMT doesn't sound like its for me. I've emphysema that's been pure hell. Awful way to die...
Constant infection too. I REALLY want a lung wash where I saw that it DOES cure copd and even covid. The info is at supervasi on youtube. Sadly they don't do it here in las Vegas where I live and am only offered a transplant. Thanks for the info though. Maybe someone will see it and benefit from it. Best wishes
      Stay healthy!

Diapharmatic beathing (belly breathing) also expands the room in the abdomen, improving gut motility (because ias it strengthens the diapham is also moves it upward) creating more room. And helps food move through your digestive tract faster. Ever see hospital staff like Nurses, midwives etc. "squishing" babies, lol, around the abdomen, by moving their hands around their lower abdomen and massaging it? This is the same thing as diapharmatic breathing, but babies cannot do it because they don't understand. It is done to help their digestion. So all of this IS actually a practice fully endorsed by Dr.'s. A good pulse oximeter if you do not want to do the Amazon thing, is Braun and I got mine at Walmart. Very accurate brand and high quality and under $50.

If you found this video helpful, you may also want to know that there's a new study from the British Medical Journal (which is well-respected) that highlights the gut-lung connection. I realize that some people need the knowledge , but for me , because I guess I've always tried to be informed about ALL aspects of my body this was basic common sense . Also it was pretty vague , yet a baby stepping stone for those just beginning to teach themselves about their bodies . Thank you for that .

Standing upside down (i.e.) Head Stand, is it good for lung health. Will it increase blood flow and spread all over the lungs.

Honestly, I think I've always had sensitive or weak lungs.
Sudden changes in ambient humidity give me respiratory illness (ESPECIALLY DRY WEATHER)
    Prone to altitude sickness
Contaminants (such as volatile organic compounds or smoke) cause me immediate distress. I was once sent home for presumably having C0\/|D when the California/Rockies wildfires were fierce and I live multiple states away
I'm not sure how to fix this.
I cultivate a lot of plants in my home, especially Snake Plant, and keep humidity levels at least 50~60%+ And that helps for the most part.
