Dont get me wrong though, i did have my fair share of bad relationships through vrchat. But all it took was finding the right one for me. I think in that aspect it compares to irl relationships. So... while I can understand the discouraging atmosphere of "Where did the women go?" As a Cis woman, I have to encourage AGAINST the idea that trans people should be 'filtered better'. Filtering would in turn just become a 'not so new'/further way to discriminate against them for something they are already internally fighting against. "They're not real enough to be considered a ____" It's a slippery slope used in a lot of government and other systemic places. Trans Men are Men. Tran Women are Women. If you have qualms about sex organs, consider removing your expectations around sex entirely. You may not be prepared for Cis sex organs if you think trans organs are any different. Some Cis men can lactate without extra hormones. Some Cis Women have a clitoris bigger than a some men's eggplant. If this is surprising to you then it's not about their gender, it about your ignorance around people & sex in general (not meant negatively, just fact). This is not saying that you as a person should immediately say "yes" to someone who considers themselves trans, but limiting yourself to... "what that person what born as" and not "who they live as" is a little concerning. It feels like someone entitled to another persons past despite the outcome. Murderers/Criminals are seem to be given more leeway, especially in my personal experience in VRspace. Ask some Black Cat people how they feel about "black hat"/"dox-4-pay" or literal murders vs. Furries and Trans. See which one get's told they need to be un-alived first.
It's a super tough environment and question. People are allowed to not want to date peeps for any reason, it's their love life. nevermets a good platform on the surface, but the further you interact with the community via discord trying to find more people to hang out with or potential partners, good people but the people that run it? well the owners seem cool but the rest of the team are pretty scuffed, from racist mods when drunk, to admins that genuinely are in members pockets, and will always side with those members, the mods have been known to casually break the rules from asking to by fans content, to flat out pulling rank of nevermet staff in servers or worlds not associated with nevermet them self's and those who confront them get silenced with no accountability from the team running things. there are multiple accounts of members being banned for just saying casual banter among friends in private instances and private calls, some times not even in their community such as in a private dm call, some members have bragged about being unbanned because their friends with the admin, and ironically i didnt believe it but eventually i happened to be in a call when said person got banned again and a week tops later their back, the concept is great, honestly it is, but the issue is how its run
Tinder has the same problem, the amount of gay or trans people that get put in my feed is insane. I set my preference to women, only show me women please.
