Honestly... When i first started out playing VRChat, I was so antisocial because of my anxiety But it grew on me to actively be more social for both the game and in real life. It was my own social development just playing a game like this and slowly develop social skills because there are some nice people you can meat who will be happy to help develop thise skills...sometimes. I guess I can also thank the world Audience Anarchy made by Jar for that boost into it as well. Being able to actively act out and read a script in a fun and hilarious way is a nice skill to build on. While this did help me, I know it doesn't help others the same way as I know everyone experiences socialism in different ways. This was just my experience as an ASD/ADD adult with social anxiety.

We need more controllers like the valve index, why do vr companies never do anything like it

I've seen the good and bad of VRC; I was a PC user for 2 years, then switches to FBT. When I transitioned to FBT, I basically ate, breathed, and slept on VR. I would drink almost daily, and withdrew from my family and friends. It was a bad time for me and I'm glad I got out of it. On the other hand, there were amazing things that happened for me; I met some VR friends irl, and we had a great time together. I also met my bf through vrc (but we were just friends for a LONG time) and I'm forever grateful for the game as I would've never met him (we're moving in together soon!) We both stopped playing vrc for our mental health, and so we could focus on building a life together :)

It's sad when the biggest concern in vrchat is nudity and sex among the USA users, when in Europe porno mags are uncovered in gas stations. Extreme violence in the media is fine, just don’t show a nipple. Though, there should be a system to separate age between users.

As some one that does graffiti in game constantly I was kinda bummed that the wall was music specific, I wanted to send something in so badly and there ended up barely being any graf there anyway 😭

How do they profit from this? It’s so fascinating to think about, especially imagining what all of this will look like with advancements in technology 20-30 years from now. While I’m more of an in-person, hands-on kind of guy, I recognize the massive untapped market this represents. I just want to get in early, you feel me? Also, does any of this translate into the real world? Like, do you end up transitioning into doing the same things you do in VR with friends you’ve made there IRL?

The vibes of left 4 dead or the last of us from the background music just defines the dread i feel.

If we get to the point that we can’t tell the difference between reality and vr, then vr would look worse than it does now because reality is bland in comparison to not just vr, but most game worlds in recent years. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a major example of games that look better than reality.

Ive been on and off woth VRChat for a bit but only with my recent addition of FBT have I really gotten into the game. And with it I wanted to learn so much more about it all and your videos have been amazing for that. Ive watched almost every single one now and I love your content. Keep up the great work. @17:01 if you just deleted it It might still be recoverable if it was on your hard drive. When you delete something off your hard drive you just delete access to the file. It's not until it gets written over that it is truly gone. Go look for some file recovery software. It just might still be savable...Maybe.

VR is still starting.... Fate depend of content quolity, hardweare prices and devs good support in engines like UE 5.x .... Still there is a big problem due to no good engine and optimalisation reality so good like in Alyx game . We will miss awsome graphics and effects equal to today 2D games quoilty standards here. There is a big dark hole here in many aspects. To realy enjoy VR\AR\MR power , You need top power PC configuration so this will be small amount of realy happy users able to see real magic with no total laggy sad story problems. Most of content for VR look bad and is close phones games funny level or 10y ego low graphic quolity so not very atractive in fact. New hope and chapter is MR nad AR soft but there are still many seriouse technical and soft problems to resolve too....

Honestly I don't blame people for coming to the logical conclusions about the platform. A majority of the avatars are highly sexualized, and outside of insular friend groups the community experience is pretty shit.

I share your sentiments about last year being brutally bad, and your general nonchalance of “hey, hopefully this one’s better”. Never felt lonelier despite having a small group of friends I regularly see. Moving through the motions one at a time. But despite that, I’m glad I found your channel- it provides a sense of perspective and general entertainment as well as something I can mull over whenever I’m going through the motions. I’m in the army now, so there’s that going for me at least! Haven’t touched VRChat in a while, but sometimes I think about picking it back up. All in all man, you got others going through it with ya, and we’ve got your back (as much as words on a screen can), your videos are excellent and I don’t see why you can’t take as much time as you need to do whatever kind of content you like. My only regret in this game is that I never had a friend group like dera's that I could just hop around into random worlds like the beautiful ones in this video and relax and make memories. Always had to put up a front to get anyone to be around me. Although I had some, it was hardest for me to do what he's done so far and im happy for him and anyone else who has found their people, their calling in this chaotic virtual world. Wish all who read this a wonderful new year and strength to grow more than the last
