Especually now bcuz so many of us deal with depression, anxiety & grief from diff reasons that affect us so it may seem easier to compare our life to anothers. But we have to fiind love & be grateful for our life. #LOVEYOURZ !!!

The day after he died I was at a football tailgate and they played Knock Knock by Mac on the big speaker and everyone was going crazy. I stopped for a second and just looked at a huge crowd of people jumping and dancing to Mac's music and it was such a bittersweet moment. This shit is insane. RIP Mac.

Some friends and I were at Dancefestopia tripping pretty good after the first night's main sets were over when the news broke. Bummed us all out for a bit because he's one of our favorites.

I have been listening to him since last year and found it so cool that he does have such a variety of sounds in his music, he was constantly evolving. But tbh I never really knew that he had such a huge problem with drugs and depression. His music was always for me something to chill to. Too bad most people only saw him as this "frat rapper". He had endless talent and is the most underrated artist I know.

It’s 2021 and not a day goes by that I don’t think of Mac Miller.. there was no artist or celebrity ever in my life time that passed away and effected me the way that Mac Miller did. His impact on my life is immensely so very thankful for him.

This made me cry as I watched. I am a newer fan of Mac’s;only discovered his music a year and a half ago when my daughter played “Small Worlds” in the car. I said “Who is this!?!” and I’ve been hooked ever since. I am a 46 year old woman and Mac’s music speaks to me like no other artists has, ever. I only wish I knew of him sooner, but I’m am forever grateful for him, to have be introduced to his genius. He holds a special place in my heart. I never knew that you can feel so strongly about someone you’ve never met, but through their music. I pray he is at peace now. He was an extraordinary human. ❤

I remember 2 years back I was at the Anderson. Paak concert in Berlin and he ended the show with Dang!. Before hestarted the song he made the whole crowd shout “We love you mac!“ and everyone was so enthusiastic it felt like he was actually there for the song. Andy let the whole song play and it was honestly one of the best moments of my life. It‘s been two and a half years since his death now and I still can‘t get over it...

I find myself coming back here every so often to listen to these other artists talk about Mac and hear what they have to say. But I think the most important is J. Cole. As Mac was coming up he referenced J Cole a lot in interviews and songs and how much he looked up to him. And to hear J. Cole dedicate Love Yours and his show to Mac probably meant so much to Mac if he could’ve seen it. Mac left more of a mark on this earth than he could’ve ever imagined. You’re forever missed, Malcom.
Last time I was torn up over a musician dying was when Amy Wine house died... Mac was such a dope artist. ALL his music was good shit. He was funny af, & seemed like a genuinely a good person. The shit is literally weighing heavy on me. Been crying & teary eyed all week. Depressed. He didn't deserve this. I feel like there was so much more to come from him & his life was cut short. I keep trying to figure out ways to bring him back. Maybe the media has it all mixed up. Maybe they meant somebody else. Maybe he's just sick in the hospital & will pull thru & we'll be seeing him again... Feels like a bad dream.

When I went to the Ed Sheehan concert he was wearing a Mac Miller shirt for the entire concert and I’m from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and we both grew up in the same neighborhood so knowing that something really amazing came out of our neighborhood even though he passed away makes me really happy and not to many good things come out of Oakland and south side and I grew up going to places like frick park and blue slide park and it makes me happy to see that they might put blue slide park in Mac’s name and there are a lot of drug problems at dice (his high school(Taylor allderdice))so sadly this is also the place he picked up his drug habits
