Hey my pc didn't come with it is there any way I can install this official windows program it seemed to have come prebuilt on my laptop but not my new pc I just activated windows D=
When I reinstalled Windows on my computer I had to go to the Microsoft store as the same thing happened to me. It is part of the photos app. When I updated the photos app the video editor showed up.
Downloaded several other free video editors without knowing that Windows 10 had one already. Explanation, presentation, instructions were easy to follow. No extra unnecessary and complicated jargon and irrelevant material. Thank you. I've given a thumbs up and subscribed!

Thanks, Ken, this was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I record our church services with a Camcorder, but the first video stops after ~45 minutes. Thankfully, the second video starts right away, so after I now merge them with Window's Video Editor, the result is seamless. Thanks again!

Literally saving my Life dude, I have about 36 hours of videos split into 100 parts for my thesis that I’m trying to combine into one long videos so I can run it through my coding software. No idea how it works I’m no computer guy and this will hopefully let me graduate on time thanks

Thank you. This was incredibly helpful. I do want to note that when you move files into the project library, the program creates duplicate files in your video projects folder. For me that was 50 gb of files that I needed to find and delete.
You made this very easy to understand and do. Thank you. Pulled me out of a tight spot and made my video complete. I was making a video with webcam and accidentally bumped usb input and it stopped video and switched to camera built into laptop. Had to switch back to webcam and resume video. Real life saver man. Thanks again.

Thank you! This worked great for me with the Legacy Photos app in Windows 11. It prompted me to add that once I type Video editor. I love that it works with video card hardware acceleration, too. Much more user friendly than some of the other video editing tools.

If you have google drive you could easily drop it in there and then download it on your phone. Google drive is free if you have a Gmail account.
