Just love it . You are one of my favorite artist. Your paintings are soft and peaceful full of color with direction. You very much appear you love your art work
Hi Shawn. I am always reluctant to give feedback on another artist's endeavors. You have a whole different vision than I and what works for me may not work for you. I appreciateyour trust in me thought.
Thanks for watching and for the comment, Mieke. The scraper is a catalyst wedge. You can get one at Dick Blick Art Supplies. There is a link in the "Show More" section above. You can slow the video down by clicking on the settings in the lower right side of the video. That may help some.
Thanks for your comment, Pam. I try to keep within the RUclips guidelines and even at that the videos are too long. I double time them in order to get more content. My videos are meant to be a glimpse into my process and not a tutorial but many people tell me they find them useful. You can slow it down by clicking on the cog at the lower right hand side of the video and adjusting the speed. Maybe, that will help.
I've just found the cog to slow it down, yay.... Really helpful!...but I can see why you speed it up otherwise it's like watching paint dry🤣🤣. Love your work. Inspiring!
Thanks for your comment, Patricia. The tool is called a catalyst wedge but there are other shapers available or just use what you have on hand like an old credit card, cardboard, soft plastic. Lots of different things work to move the paint around.

Great demonstration! Do you use an acrylic extender to keep the acrylics moist for longer periods of time?
Absolutely amazing love the soft colours. What is the scraper you are using, so fast cant get a good look.

I love the painting. What tool or brush are you using when blending? I can see it flat, but not sure of what it is.

Thank you.
