Your art is so inspiring! Toward the end of this painting, when you are making the thin little black marks, what are you using? A tiny brush (if so what kind?) or some other marking instrument.

Thanks for watching, Debbie. That's a stripper brush like what is used for auto pinstripping. Thin black acrylic paint.

Hi Karen, love your work. Thank you for sharing. I hope you don't mind I have some questions? How many days does it take you to complete a piece of work of this size? I read in one of your previous posts that it had 10 plus layers and each layer needed to dry. Do you work on other paintings in-between drying? If so, how many paintings do you work on in a day? Thanks

Thanks for the comment and for watching, Nicola. There are 10+ layers on each painting and I let them dry in between. I work on several at a time depending on my time and mood. I don't really know how long each takes because of this.

Beautiful!..is there a non time lapse to know exactly what your using and techniques you use?..I'd love to attempt something similar..it's very beautiful though thank you 😍

Thanks for your comment and for watching, Claire. This is filmed at regular speed then edited and adjusted to double time to fit as much content as possible , editing out the boring parts. RUclips has certain recommendations for length and even at that the videos are too lonrg. You can slow it down by clicking on the settings at the lower right hand of the video.

What does the green spatula do.? Smooth? Or blend?

It does both, Susan. I sometimes use it to apply paint too.
